"Not the best visit we’ve had at this Zizzi’s. We visited on a Thursday evening at 8pm, so relatively quiet. The bar staff were stood around talking whilst we were waiting for drinks. The starters were really great so we were expecting the mains to be of the same quality, but this wasn’t the case. We asked for 2 items to be left out of one of our mains, after waiting about 30 minutes the waitress said that the chef accidentally added the item and asked whether it was ok for me to eat it rather than him making a new one. I personally don’t think this should have even been a question, it should have been re made without me needing to know. The main came out and was clearly very strong in chilli (this was the item I asked to be left out) and turns out there was loads of chillis in there and not just a few like they said. This completely ruined my main. The meatballs in the calzone didn’t seem fully cooked, and typically ever since we have both felt unwell. We’ve both had this main before and it was completely different and no way near as big or as much filling as usual. The waitress at the start was really helpful, but towards the end she was seeming to slack and not give as good service like she did the start. We originally went in the restaurant wanting desert also, but due to the poor quality of the mains we decided not to. Overall we were really looking forward to a long due date night, but the food wasn’t up to standards and we won’t be returning sadly."

Nice position in Clifton Village. Normal Zizzi menu good value for the money. Pleasant ambience.

Absolutely terrible, I cannot recall a more disappointing meal, but the silver lining was that the staff were incredibly friendly.

Was spoken to very rudely by manager. Food mediocre poor quality ingredients and Luke warm not a welcoming atmosphere in fact quite the opposite

This is a good spot for lunch as it has a wide variety of food and pretty much something for everyone. So many restaurants currently have very strange menus and quite limited so this place appears to solve that problem with reasonable value. View menu

This is a nice Zizzi although it is a little bit difficult to find. We have eaten here before so were prepared. Nice position in Clifton. If you like Zizzi restaurants then you will like this one. Very busy but reliable food, nice ambiance and quite friendly service.

Meerkat deal so very very good value, unfortunately we had very limited time so we were rushing as apposed to being rushed. Very chatty helpful waiter aware of our time frame and tried very hard to oblige. Would eat there again but keep away from the spaghetti Bolognese it wasn't great.

Ordered Calzone. Meal was lukewarm in centre at best. Obviously the kitchen didn’t bother checking the food temperature before letting it go out. Issue redeemed slightly by replacing it with another dish, hot this time. However, I don’t expect to be served poorly prepared food in the first place. View menu

A family birthday dinner. Two ate from the regular menu and one from the gluten free menu. The gluten free pasta was a really small portion in comparison to the other meals and the pasta was not cooked through. After sending it back the same happened again. Also given a wine glass with lipstick on it. The staff were helpful and friendly but the food was not up to scratch.

We visited with our family for husbands birthday. With 7 children, one of whom was a toddler in a high chair, we were made to feel welcome. At no time were we made to feel uncomfortable. Waitress was helpful and came quite quickly with starters but had to wait a really long time for main course which is not ideal with little ones. We had great difficulty finding it as it is next door to a co op and they had a huge delivery lorry right outside so were unable to see it! Food ok. One of kid's pizza was burnt but when we pointed out was replaced. Ok overall but quite expensive for what it was and that was with 25% off! But for 11 people were catered for.

"Visited here in Sept 23 for an executive dinner that we were hosting for various senior business leaders. We booked out the whole venue, which was the perfect size and atmosphere for the intimate and exclusive feel that we wanted, plus a convenient location. The TV that shows into the kitchen was fascinating, and the record player was put to use towards the end of the evening! Caroline from the venue helped us organise the event in advance and was great to deal with. We were fortunate with the weather so were able to enjoy a welcome drinks reception out the front of the venue, and have the door open all evening to let the balmy night in. We had the 7 course taster menu and it was simply OUTSTANDING so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was, particularly the beef steak course! It was so tasty that I even enjoyed the fish dish (not usual for me! . Service on the night was exemplary, the courses were brought out at just the right intervals so you weren't waiting ages but also not being rushed. The chef came out to greet us after the final course, which was a lovely touch and meant we could thank him. Overall, we had really great feedback from our guests, everyone loved it thank you for making our event such a success! We would definitely book again, and I know a few of our guests have already recommended it to their own companies for executive dinners! Would not hesitate to recommend."
