"Another visit to Zizzi's which does seem to have the knack of varying its menu nicely without alienating its core audience. Beckenham is not our nearest branch (Croydon is nearer but neither I nor my friends have ever had a good experience there over the many years that it's been open), but the service in Beckenham was excellent until it came to paying for the bill. Unfortunately all the guys left the work to one girl who was otherwise engaged so it took far too long to attract attention. Otherwise a great meal."

It seems that Zizzi has been taken over by family groups who are happy to run their children wildly to scream and scream the restaurant while mom and dad ignore their behavior and are beaten to wine. It was a pleasure to go here, but that was the last time.

For my daughter's 18th birthday, we celebrated at this restaurant. Despite some of the party arriving late, the waitress was attentive, friendly, and patient. I was impressed by how smoothly everything went, considering we had both adults and children in our group. The food was excellent and the staff were faultless. We ended up staying for a long time and never felt rushed. We will definitely be returning in the future.
