Very good vegan pizzas the zucca is a firm favourite. Pizza Express is catching up to them these days but still a very safe and enjoyable bet for a decent meal in Edinburgh :

When I visited, they did not have any of the vegan menu items available so that I was left to customize a tomato pasta to make it vegan. It was pale and watery, not what I was hoping. Updated by previous rating on 2022-05-16

I can recommend their vegan pizza. It tastes good! The downer: it was on a special menu . Which means they don 't recognize veganisme or offer it all their other guests. Not cool. It should just be on the menu they give to everyone. To indpire as many people to order vegan.

We loved the pizza! Absolutely delicious. Pasta was also very good! The staff is friendly and attentive. Beautiful location! (bus stop is located right in front of the restaurant) Separate menu for vegans and allergy sufferers. Only sad we were so full that we could not try the dessert

me and my husband (vegans) went with my omni brother yesterday evening and it was great as always. they have a separate menu (ask on arrival) with pizza, pasta and salad options. they also have 3 dessert options, gelato, calzone and chocolate torte, all beautiful. all of there wines are vegan also except 2.

I wasn't expecting much from this place but very pleasantly surprised. the waitress was very friendly and very helpful. she went an extra mile to double check if the wine is wanted was vegan, very nice pizza with vegan cheese and you choose your own toppings. Nice dessert too, could do with a little bit more dessert options

It 's actually less fun to post these reviews when all i have to say is Wow! Great! Amazing! . Well, Zizzi 's is one of our family 's favorite places in Edinburgh. Personally, I haven 't had anything i didn 't like. Flavor is always good, presentation is always good. I suppose I have two minor complaints , but they hardly count as such... 1. Very crowded. Of course, they 're a good restaurant... so they should be.

We're here after arriving in Edinburgh. Most places we tried needed reservations, so it wasn't our first choice, but the staff was so sweet and could see that we were exhausted so that they went out to feel welcome. I wouldn't say it has the most vegan options, but enough to satisfy a hungry group. We even have a cheesy garlic bread I haven't had for years! (We asked them to add a vegan cheese to the vegan garlic bread and they were just too happy to commit)

They have a whole separate allergy menu, with things broken up into vegan/non-dairy/GF options that they can do. My boyfriend and I got the vegan garlic bread (was really good, especially with some balsamic vinegar drizzled on it! and I ordered the vegan margherita rustica pizza for dinner, and added caramelizes onions. It was fantastic. They make their own vegan mozzarella and it's good, simple and clean. That pizza even won some PETA food award, for good reason! 
