"Went here on a Sunday night having booked on line a few days before. Got to front door and had to wait a bit to be greeted person looked on computer found our name but it all seemed like hard work for them and they did not seem engaged at all. Ordered our starters and main courses which came after a while. 2 of us had mocktails which tased like a very weak childrens diluting juice but they put fruit in it. Main meal was dissapointing my carbonara was tasteless bland spag with a watery oily sauce at the bottom of the plate. Puddings were OK once we got to order them. Service was slow took 2 hours from start of meal to end we had to go and ask for the bill in the end. Speaking to one of the staff they do lots of home delivery type meals we saw lots being collected and this slows the kitchen down. Perhaps they need to make a decision on what they are takeaway nor sit in? Its a while since I have been a a Zizzi and previous visits were OK (not MK branch) so not sure what is going on here but I wont be rushing back to MK."

Excellent food Chicken Calabrese in particular) but cold hot chocolate and service felt hostile and would have been nice to get a warmer welcome. Easy to scan menus with ability to view allergens online using a QR code.

Had arrived due to a busy week and was served by Zanetta. She was amazing and saw my order through start to finish. Being a regular customer the staff are friendly and welcoming. I had Garlic bread and Rustica Margherita pizza, in which I had allergies and were catered for. This is much better than Domino’s pizza.

We visited the weekend of Silverstone so it was very busy in the restaurant, every table full. But the staff were fab. The food was fab. Waiting time was a normal length of time and impressive considering how busy it was in there. We are not from MK and have a local zizzi that we love so we were certainly comparing the two and MK did great. Will definitely return if in Milton Keynes again. View menu

Well I don’t usually do chain restaurants very often but my friend wanted to go. I was taken back tbh walked in staff assisted us straight away with a friendly welcome. Took a-bit of time to decide what to have as it’s a big menu (I feel) so couldn’t decide what to have. Lots of good options. Food was lovely, presented beautifully and tasted delicious I will be returning. Big thumbs up great service and great food.

The mushroom crostini was to die for!!!!! I also had some chicken red pesto pasta, which was really delicious and, for once, its portion was quite generous (Zizzi’s pasta dishes are usu a bit small, but this time both taste and portion size were just PERFECT). Adrienn was really lovely as well. Her very friendly and warm presence contributed a lot to the fantastic experience I’ve had. Their Zillionaires loyalty program is also really advantageous! You can get quite a lot of free tasty food by dining at their restaurants regularly. For all those reasons, Zizzi has become my go-to restaurant whenever I’m out and about. I just hope they’ll keep the pasta portion sizes more generous, more in lin...

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
