We went for dinner here with German friends before our flight. This was a typical local German restaurant. The food was good and the service was great. Recommend it.

Must visit restaurant when you are somewhere around Berlin Schönefeld Airport. Great authentic German food, freshest salad pasta too. Their home made apple pie is a must try! The price is reasonable and staff are very friendly. Highly recommended. View menu

Wir kamen als Gruppe von acht Radlern im strömenden Regen völlig durchnässt an und trauten uns zunächst nicht, pitschnass in das Restaurant zu gehen. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, konnten unsere Sachen zum trocknen aufhängen und wurden sehr nett bedient. Das Essen hat auch geschmeckt! Kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Easy to find if staying locally just past the garden centre. Visited for an early evening meal and didn't regret it. The pub was clean and fresh with a good ambience and quite a few diners. Table service for meals with a good selection on...the menu. Had a pair of rump steaks and they were excellent. Washed down with some draught beers. Would definately return.

After our food arrived my husband asked for ketchup and mayo for himself and the children. Once they had all...finished eating the sauce was brought which was a big annoying. Altglienicke hat eher den Charkter einer Gartenstadt (vom Kosmosviertel abgesehen). Leider bedeutet das auch, dass Restaurants selten in Laufnähe zu erreichen sind. Da freut man sich über eine gutbürgerliche Gaststätte, die man zu Fuß erreichen kann.Die speisekarte bietet nichts Ausgefallenes, sondern ein druchschnittliches Angebot "klassischer" deutscher Küche (wobei die DDR-Vergangenheit mit einigen Gerichten berücksichtigt ist).Das Bier eiskalt, die Bedienung flott, die Portionen groß.Einige Tische im Freien.Gerne jederzeit wieder!

This is a super place to eat if staying near Schoenefeld airport. The food is good German large portions and very tasty. We had typical Berlin specialities - mine was a very tasty burger and my husband had a mixture of meats - both excellent, washed down with a very acceptable red wine from Austria. We've had better Bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes), but nonetheless acceptable! I felt that the meal was very good value - Euro 63 for the two of us, which included a large beer, 2 bottles of water, a litre bottle of wine and a starter as well as the two main courses. The waitress may appear brusque, but she is extremely efficient and friendly if you can engage with her. We would definitely return! View menu
