Veramente eccellente sia la posizione che i piatti ottimi un una locanda tipica della Franconia. Da consigliare sicuramente.

Had dinner there the first evening we stayed in Rothenburg. Was a little hard to find. Lovely food , great waiters , quirky place. Definitely on the high price range.

We have eaten here twice in our 2 days stay. This place is just addictive and makes you want to come back. Amazing local food, exceptional service, warm atmosphere. Washrooms are delicious. Don't miss this place!

This restaurant is co owned by the owner of our hotel and came highly recommended. Food and service are excellent. We would have eaten here again but it is closed on Sunday. We were fortunate to have enjoyed their food on Saturday evening. P

This was one of our favorite meals during our vacation in Germany. The ambiance was charming, and food was delicious and plentiful. (I'm very confused by an early reviewer who suggested the portions were small. He must have been somewhere else.) The proprietor was present and checked on tables frequently. We made reservations for our family of six well before our arrival in Rothenburg because it was our grand daughter's 10th birthday. We had the 900 year-old cave-like basement to ourselves... all bricks and candlelight. My wife ordered shrimp and pasta and the shrimp were plump and succulent. My son and I ordered the rib dinner with salad that I had seen pictured on the website. It was good, but not terrific. My daughter-in-law had a meat and mushroom dish. The kids had bratwurst and a cutting board of cheese and meats. It was very busy and the service was pleasant, but slow. A decent meal.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante spinti dalle ottime recensioni e devo dire che in effetti abbiamo mangiato bene! Abbiamo scelto il piatto del giorno (non in lista) che consisteva in finferli con la panna e canederlo di patate abbinati con ciò che si preferiva...Quando arriva il conto rimango francamente di stucco...76,60€ per 2 salsicce e un filetto di agnello (minuscolo) con contorno sopra citato (rispettivamente 22€ e 26€), 2 dolci senza infamia e senza lode e 2 birre medie...conto scritto su un foglietto volante con domanda "vi serve la ricevuta?"...mi è sembrato decisamente eccessivo!

Andato seguendo le recensioni di trip, che però omettono a mia avviso qualcosa, almeno per noi italiani.Per quanto riguarda la cucina, la stessa è ottima, prodotti freschi e ben cucinati, ma ci sono dei nei che non mi faranno mai ritornare in questo posto:- la prenotazione è ambigua, mentre eravamo dentro entravano degli avventori e veniva mandati fuori, anche se i tavoli erano liberi, mentre orientali e russi trovavano posto anche senza prenotare.- il menù è di sole 6/7 portare tra zuppe, antipasti e secondo, praticamente zero scelta. Ma non è del tutto vero in quanto c'è una voce nella lista, "piatto della casa" che non ha prezzo e che in realtà ti da altre 7/8 scelte di cibi diversi, pecc... View menu
