"Zeche: 109,70 € General: More and more rare to find are solid country guest houses and excursion venues. Traditional German cuisine. Solidly prepared and with a taste you do expect. Portions are very generous. Locals love this place and reservation is a must.

Wenn man nichts falsch machen will und keine Highlights erwartet, ist man Zur Nordseite sehr gut aufgehoben. Das Essen schmeckt und ist frisch. Die Bedienung freundlich. Nachteil: keine vegetarischen/veganen Gerichte.

Wenn man zur Mittagszeit kommt und nicht reserviert hat, kann es eng werden. Aber die Angestellten kümmern sich reizend um die Gäste und dann klappt es auch mit dem Tisch.Essen ist ohne Fehl und Tadel, lecker, regional aber wer Innovation verlangt, ist hier fehl am Platz.

A perfect ending for a perfect day. We had been visiting family near Bremen and had spent the day in Hamburg via train. On the way back from the Bremen Train Station driving to their village we stopped here and had an excellent meal. A older building, decorated beautifully inside. The meal was traditional German. They menu had a great variety of foods.

Again it was booked for a large group of us and the grass outside the front was set aside for our cars to park. Lovely restaurant specialising in typical Herman cuisine. We had massive dishes of cold meats, raw pork with onion, roast beef, salami, sausage, liver pate, breads, gherkins, scrambled eggs, sautéed potatoes with bacon. The portions were huge and dishes kept coming. A fab enjoyable time was had here and I would certainly recommend it.

"Ich war mit meinem Mann im April zum wiederholten Mal im Ritterhuder Landhaus essen. Vielleicht ist der Begriff "Landhaus" hier ein wenig irreführend, weil nicht nur deutsche Küche serviert wird, sondern auch italienische. Für mich aber eine gute Ergänzung, wem nicht nach deftiger deutscher Küche mit Bratkartoffeln, Fleisch und Fisch ist, der findet in den Pasta- und Pizzagerichten eine gute Alternative.Es gibt 2 "Speiseräume". Der vordere Raum, indem sich auch die Theke befindet, ist etwas altmodisch, aber nicht ungemütlich und etwas ruhiger, der zweite Raum ist etwas moderner eingerichtet und wenn viele Gäste da sind, auch etwas lauter. An den zweiten Raum grenzt eine Terrasse, auf der man bei schönem Wetter herrlich draußen sitzen kann.Wir hatten uns für Spargel mit Schnitzel und Spaghetti mit Gemüse und Parmaschinken entschieden. Vor dem Essen kommt oft ein kleiner leckerer Gruß aus der Küche. An beiden Hauptgerichten gab es nichts auszusetzen. Der Spargel wurde auf unseren Wunsch hin etwas länger gegart als üblich (kein Problem den Wunsch in die Küche zu transportieren), die beiden Schnitzel waren lecker angebraten, die Sauce Hollandaise war schmackhaft (wahrscheinlich nicht selbstgemacht). Die Nudeln waren bissfest gegart, und wurden mit reichlich angebratenem Gemüse und Parmaschinken serviert. Ohne Aufforderung wurde auch Parmesankäse dazu gereicht. Beides war sehr schmackhaft. Das Servieren der Getränke erfolgte zügig, auf das Essen muss man leider oft etwas länger warten, wenn es voll ist. (Da fehlt es in der Küche vielleicht an einer zusätzlichen Kraft?). Durch den kleinen Küchengruß wird die Wartezeit aber nett überbrückt. Wir haben den Service im Ritterhuder Landhaus als stets freundlich kennengelernt und alle Wünsche werden einem erfüllt. Vielleicht hat der eine oder andere Gast manchmal mit der sehr ehrlich bremischen Art Probleme... Mit dem Essen sind wir noch nie enttäuscht worden. Wir sind auch schon mit größeren Gruppen dort gewesen und es hat immer alles bestens geklappt und geschmeckt. Das Essen wurde stets zügig serviert und leere Schalen schnell wieder aufgefüllt. Für meinen Mann und mich stehen hier die Leistung und Qualität des Essens in einem guten Verhältnis zum Preis - deshalb vergebe ich 5 Sterne (auch wenn es natürlich kein 5-Sterne-Restaurant ist). Wir können das Ritterhuder Landhaus wärmstens weiterempfehlen.P.S. Es empfiehlt sich vorher anzurufen und einen Tisch zu reservieren, weil es am Abend oft gut besucht und ausgebucht ist."
