"A fantastic concept in dining backed up with delicious food and exceptional service. To further explain, the unique concept is making you feel a part of the family, heading over to Grandma's place for supper - It is a set menu with a massive selection (7 or so entrees, a soup, a main & a buffet of desserts), where you may share a table with others, or choose a table for 2 outside as we did - help yourself to the array of foods, slice your own bread, and return your used crockery & cutlery when you are ready for the next helping. The delicious food is thanks to "Grandma" (or the chefs) cooking fresh, seasonal and rustic food from the heart - with the daily menu being based on what is avaliable that morning at the nearby markets. No choice of soup nor of main course, but rather than a massive choice of average food they produce what is on the daily set menu to perfection - and it was as close to perfect as I can imagine. The service was fantastic - I have seen others complain about having to return their own dirty plates, but no, no, no - that is he whole point - you walk in and are immediately made to feel like a member of a huge family by the friendly waitresses. Our waitress was exceptional, always smiling, helpful, explained the process, didn't hover over us, yet was always there when we wanted a drink and to top it off, not only did she speak fantastic english, but she also arrived with a complimentary large shot of Grand Marnier (I think it was) before we left. We discovered Chez LuLu on our last night in Antibes, but will be back without a doubt."
