"I am Working in the Claremont in bath today, the food being prepared in the kitchen looked inviting and smelt amazing... So I ordered a personal one for my lunch. It was 2nd to none... So fresh and tasty not the like the commercial ones you get from branded pizza shops. The Claremont is spotlessly clean throughout kitchen is visible from the lower dining area and again it's absolutely pristine the attention to cleanliness and hygiene is clear to see Both George and Mark are really welcoming, this place is beautifully presented with pleasant outside spaces for smoking and eating. A real credit to these guys. The pizzas I ate was prepared by George... It Was excellent with Amazing flavour and really quick to the table even though there was a few others being ordered by customers. I would highly recommend if visiting bath and want some excellent food and drink."

"I enjoyed a lovely birthday meal at Olio, a restaurant on the terrace of the Homewood Hotel. The food was lovely, we enjoyed the spiced tiger prawns and chorizo and salt and pepper Brixham squid for starters followed by the spiced Cornish cod and the Walter Rose lamb cutlets and the sticky toffee pudding for dessertEverything was beautifully cooked and seasoned. The staff were attentive and surprised me with a lovely plate of birthday chocolate truffles.Only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars is because of dogs being allowed at the restaurant... Yes i know it's an outdoor restaurant and people love their dogs and I like spending time with dogs just not in a restaurant"

"This charming little pub features a lovely and varied menu in a beautiful setting. I called in for lunch while waiting for my car's MOT to be completed nearby, and it was a delightful decision. The food was excellent, with generous portion sizes, and the staff were attentive and friendly. My soft drink tasted a bit weak, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, assuming it was just near the end of the mix rather than intentionally watered down. Just a heads-up: this place doesn’t accept cash, so make sure to bring a card!"

"Very high quality food which makes amazingly tasty breakfast and brunch. It has a great ambience and a very light and airy feel with an abundance of windows on each side. We got better service here than a few other places in Bath and will happily return when we next come back. An easy and recommended choice if you are looking for a healthy or filling place to eat; especially their eggs Benedict and pancakes :"

"I stumbled upon this hidden gem! Highly recommended for those seeking a one-of-a-kind evening in a charming restaurant with welcoming staff. We stopped by for some wine and a cheese board after dining out earlier in the day, and it was just what we needed. The staff was attentive and friendly, and we were delighted by the delicious food and wine. The cheese with black cherries is a must-try! I would definitely suggest this spot to food, wine, and cheese enthusiasts. The dishes on neighboring tables also looked fantastic. If you're looking for a little taste of France, this is the spot to visit. An excellent venue!"

"Just when I thought Bath couldn 't get any better, it was at that moment I took a bite of the rhubarb custard at Brown 's and spiraled into another, more dreamy, dimension. Was that dramatic? Not so much. It was utterly delicious. There is no shortage of finger licking good food in England (as we in the South would say), but Brown 's takes it up to the next level. Everything was incredible- the scallops, the pancetta linguine, everything. The seasonal menu is my favorite part, as I can always look forward to something new on my bi-annual trip. Oh, and don 't even get me started on the champagne. Of course it 's top shelf (or top of wherever champagne is stored), but a tall glass of bubbly pairs nicely with every and any meal so you 'd be remiss to not pour one out. As for the atmosphere, it can 't be beat. Even in the rainy season. You 'll never find a city as quaint and blissful as Bath. That said, the outdoor seating is expansive and a must. The service is particularly nice especially since it can be more of a casual place for lunch. The historical building is beautiful, and I love how the interior mimics the outside fecade in terms of the cohesive nature of the decor. All very simple and elegant in a subtle, historic way. If you 're in Bath for even so little as an afternoon, I 'd 12/10 recommend heading to Brown 's. It 's simply dreamy all around!"

"We visited this restaurant twice over the same weekend—once on Saturday night and then again on Sunday afternoon—because it was just that good. Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was excellent. They took great care to accommodate our allergies to dairy and soy without any issues. In my opinion, this is the best Thai food I’ve ever had (though I should note that I’ve never been to Thailand). I especially recommend the duck red curry and the chicken sweet and sour soup in coconut milk (both are pictured)."

"This restaurant offers tasty fried chicken at a reasonable price. The skin is crispy and appealing, although slightly less delicate than other versions. It's not too greasy, but could use a bit more seasoning. Overall, I would give it 4 stars out of 5."

"The food and service were excellent. However, the restaurant is situated in a less accessible area, and the menu options could use some more creativity. Unfortunately, the restrooms were not clean and appeared to be neglected, as they were not inspected and maintained frequently enough."

"This is a lovely, small restaurant that serves delicious cocktails and absolutely amazing burgers! Having said that you need to be aware that it is the burgers and the cocktails that make this place and its size, coupled with frequency of people picking up takeaway wouldn’t necessarily make it somewhere for an intimate meal. The choice of burgers is superb as well as sumptuous sides and the list of cocktails is impressive given the size of the establishment. Booking is available online and I would definitely recommend booking a table in advance of your visit; by half seven the place was full Friday night. The service was very good and it’s a lively place for a relaxed evening. I would say it’s around minutes walk from the city centre but it’s well worth the extra stroll"

"The service at this restaurant was not great. Nobody seemed to be looking after us or understanding why we were there, even though we had clearly mentioned that we were there for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday. We were initially served standard tea bag tea upon arrival, and had to specifically ask our waiter for the loose leaf tea option for our afternoon tea. The bread on the sandwiches appeared to be a bit hard on the outside and did not seem freshly prepared."

"in any case, this restaurant would not recommend. room was really cold. eating was less than satisfactory. fish was boiled, actually served raw in the middle. the waitress took it away and apologised, but the salad was already on the teller and did not return with the freshly cooked fish. my man had already eaten his steak when my fish came back on the table. to complete it, all service fee of £8.80 was taken over on the bill!"

"The restaurant offers a separate menu for vegans, featuring two starters and two main courses. Unfortunately, there are no vegan desserts listed, but the staff was accommodating and offered to prepare something for me. The vegan options are priced lower than the meat and vegetable dishes, which is a pleasant surprise. I felt welcomed, although I wish they would simply include the vegan menu without having to ask for it. The food was delicious, some of the best I've had. I would recommend this restaurant for those looking for alternatives to the usual dining options."
