"Everything is impeccable, the chef, the food, the art of the food presentation, the taste, the waiter. The semi-portion dish is only the most remarkable part, it allows you to try almost everything, from snacks to dessert. We are so grateful to have found this place, he made our last night in France a perfect end. (Original view) Everything is impeccable, chef, food, food presentation art, taste, waiter. "Wonderful of the entrance into the restaurant until the exit. Welcoming, hot, clean, we feel it right away. The boss, with a slightly singing accent, is nice and effective. Not much choice but good, well executed and seasoned. Nice wine card to accompany. Good advice to come back to Beaune. We highly recommend this hotel that has delighted us with our stay in Beaune. Thank you, all our compliments for this kitchen."

For the foreign people you need to ask for the glass of wine to taste different wine."

"What a pleasure! We wanted to come long and were not disappointed, far from there! The breakfast formula is perfect and affordable. We had the opportunity to discover dishes that we rarely taste. Not to mention the wine card that is simply incredible, with a ranking by rare and relevant domain."

"Tucked away on a side street close to the Museum of Wine, this little bistro is well-known to visitors, and the international accreditation bodies such as 'Le Routier'.We ate from their excellent three course menu, which is very good value for money, and eating outside on a warm day was a real delight. The chicken dish was the highlight for me, but everything tasted good and the portions were a good size. Only slight disappointment was the wine list, which given that the restaurant was situated in the middle of the Cote D'Or was a little limited. The amount of wine in each glass could also have been somewhat more generous. Overall though a really good find."

"This is our first trip to Beaune and the Burgundy region. We were here for three nights and had the opportunity to visit three great restaurants for dinner. We selected these based on the on the recommendation from B&B where we were staying as well...as Tripadvisor. Our second evening, we ate at Ecrit and had an outstanding meal. Ecrit is a small restaurant although seating is somewhat deception as there are tables at the entry by the bar, down the stairs and up another set of stairs to a loft. This is in addition to the outside seating. We had asked to be inside and were seating in the lower dining area which is warm, intimate but lively atmosphere. We ate on a Saturday evening and the restaurant quickly filled up. Service was very good, but clearly their minimal service staff was stretched thin as most other restaurants. We ordered a la carte and started with a delicious and fresh green salad, followed by the veal entree and the chicken entry. Both entrees were cooked perfectly and the sauces, especially the chicken, were divine. I am not a sauce person, but nothing not to like about these Beaune sauces. We finished with a light dessert. Overall, an amazing traditional French dinner experience in a superb venue. Reservations required. I highly recommend."

"Our 5th stay in Beaune and we were recommended this restaurant by the Gite owners.Lovely and Cosy. Has a small private tabled area at the back for small groups/couples but the real experience is up at the counter where you can watch the chef(s) in action. Entertaining and educating. Watch them prepare, cook and present your meal.SERVICEAttentive. Greeted, seated and provided a menu very quickly. Waitress maintained an eye on our wine and water glasses and made sure we were looked after. She was eager to explain all aspects for the set menu and wines.FOODGreat experience watching the chef’s from the 1st instance where they select and prepare ingredients for each dish. Developing the sauces, selecting the condiments and assembling the dishes with care and experience. The lunch was a delight. The dishes were well presented, superbly cooked and a joy to eat.WINEWine by the glass was excellent. We tried 3 different types of the white from dry to sweet. Reasonably priced and enjoyable. My only other observation was that the chef (who I believe is also the owner) often spent time staring into space while waiting for food to complete its cooking ritual and seemed quite distant. I had the feeling he had other things weighing on his mind. Would have been great to have a chat with him to add to the lunch experience. I hope whatever he was thinking about doesn’t stop him from continuing to run La Superb as they serve up a real culinary treat."

"Very nice frame Despite the slightly steep descent of the stairs The pizzas are not really too bad, thick dough for my taste, elastic, not fine and neither crispy, snails can go badly for the blue butter too (see the photos) I hope they will change and improve We will surely come back to see if it's better Compared with magazino no doubt.. I hope my comment will be appreciated in the future Service: Dine in"

"When we decided to make a stop at Beaune on our way home from Southern France, we had two good reasons: Firstly it's located right in the middle of our journey (distance-wise, not time-wise, thanks to the always jammed A7), and secondly there was the opportunity of a dinner at the Cheval Noir. We had eaten there three years ago, an experience we hadn't forgotten since then. The place combines a rather relaxed atmosphere with an exquisite cuisine. We went for the three-course Tendance Bourguignonne menu and a pairing with regional wines, which turned out to be an excellent choice. Like the tender snails in a crunchy "shell" or the beef Bourguignon which had been in the oven for 12 hours - everything had a regional touch and was perfected to fit the Michelin plate. The whole experience came at a price which was reasonable at any standard, and almost low if you consider that this is Burgundy where money seems to be no object. There was only one thing we didn't like: The synthetic strawberry marshmallow that came with the final pralinés. I wonder how that slipped into this wonderful dinner..."

"A restaurant with a warm and cozy feel. There was only one staff member and a chef in the small kitchen, but it wasn't slow and the service was very good. I had high expectations after hearing that the wine list was good, but it exceeded my expectations. There are a lot of wines that are difficult to find...and the prices can't be this good...!! There are so many good wines to choose from that it is not easy to choose. For appetizers, smoked herring, potatoes, and pickled vegetables. A perfect combination of flavors, from the smoky flavor to the sweetness of potatoes and the freshness of pickled vegetables. It went really well with the clean, sharp style of wine. For my main meal, I ordered oeuf meurette, a traditional Burgundy dish. The dish was served in a hot Staub cast iron pan. The red wine sauce containing eggs, bacon, and pork blood, and the semi-dried mushrooms on top were very fragrant and delicious. Even the crispy croutons soaked in sauce are perfect."

"We reserved this restaurant based on its first place on tripadvisor and were disappointed. the decor is nice, the reception also, the terrace for the beautiful days is probably very pleasant but the dishes are good without more, although can be even too sweet for the sweet-salé dishes, making the accompaniment of the dish given its price is also a little exaggerated and the wine card is excessively expensive."

"Here's an address you had to know if you're going on beautiful. A wonderful welcome, a view of the kitchen and its stunning chef, very friendly. Great dishes with subtleties not present elsewhere. Shades of hazelnuts in the classic garlic sauce parsley of snails for example. Perfectly cooked kidneys. Pear melted coconut eggs. Dos de bar plancha and small vegetables. Anyway, good. The more advice for the glass wine that accompanies all this is. To visit absolutely reserve, we had a bowl"

"After several meals taken in this establishment for several years (where everything was very satisfying, the last taken on 23/12/2023 leaves us on a bad impression: 1 mixed meal and value for money disappointing 2 during the settlement: surprise! a supplement of 2 € for a dessert while, when we were given the map of the desserts, no one told us that we were not entitled to all the desserts of the so-called card (all for a difference of 10 c d'€ bearing the menu to 34 € instead of 32€ 3 finally it is very unpleasant to see the holder turn in the middle of the tables at the end of the first service and with insistence to make us understand Good respect for customers! I'm not sure I'm going back, but I don't think it'll cause them because of a large clientele. I'm not sure they'll be interested in this message."

"Excellent restaurant. The card is limited because everything is done at home by the minute. The dishes are original and tasty, like the humour of the adorable waiter. Finally a restaurant that thinks of vegetarians from the entrance to dessert, with real dishes and not just a plate of fries or vegetables. The decor is pleasant and intimate and the plates are very pretty and well erect. Map of wines quite limited but of quality (the Montagny 1st vintage was really excellent), some wines with glass too. A must-see place to discover."

"Je m'y suis rendu un soir avec ma copine pour y déguster un menu composé de spécialités bourguignonnes. Et nous n'avons pas été déçu ! Les plats étaient très bons et suffisamment copieux pour repartir le ventre bien plein !Les serveurs étaient très sympathiques, et en particulier un qui en plus de m'avoir bien conseillé pour le vin, avait beaucoup d'humour.Les tarifs étaient cohérents vu qu'il s'agissait de plats régionaux."

"A little distrustful about the location on our arrival, finally the traffic is not very dense and is made very soon forgotten. The short card announces quality work, and indeed it is. The dishes, a little bistronomy are perfect and quite copyy. The wine list is amazing, the fields carefully selected in succulent prices. Very hard to make a choice in this magical card. Fortunately the house does not lack sommeliers to help you. The service is courteous and efficient, the plate is superb and the map of the magical wines. Reference to the Michelin guide this address of restaurant way guiguette of village is certainly one of the must-see spots of the summer of Brussels! We loved it and we'll be back"

"How to say. My wife and I are fans of the japon and its gastronomy. We have already had opportunities to eat in Japanese restaurants in europe, but none of them arrive at the ankle of the bissoh restaurant. this restaurant is held by two people, the chef and one person in the room. Both are of Japanese origin. the restaurant room is not very large, maximum people, a part of the service goes to the table and another at the bar, facing the kitchen and the chef. the atmosphere is really Japanese and the service worthy of a service to Japanese. the wine map is superb and very rich. It is also possible to make a meal accompanied exclusively by sake. the kitchen is a sweet mix between Japanese and French cuisine. a part is really Japanese oriented while the other takes part of the dishes from the terroir all revisited with flavors and cooking to Japanese. If it was possible for me to write a note I would have already done it! Everything was absolutely perfect and divine! I can only strongly recommend you to go there if you had to be in the area. However, think to reserve if you don't want to miss it. Enjoy!"

"discover an inspired and engaged cuisine. a touch of modernity and subtle originality and assumed on dishes anchored in tradition. price for the quality of the products, the concept and professionalism of the team. late arrivals, without reservation, we had the chance to dine at the counter; More than seeing the chef and his team work live, we had the pleasure of listening to him cooking a beautiful culinary and human meeting."
