"As a starter, I took the arancini and as the main course, I chose the Emiliana wood oven pizza. Both were delicious. If I re-visit Budapest, I will come back to TG Osteria for sure."

"We had a fabulous meal here in February. The 10-course menu included a few off-the-menu bites, so it was probably a 12-course tasting. Since we were there in winter, the theme was foods that had been preserved in some way, such as dried, cured or pickled items. With one exception (a freshwater fish with dill), we found the food to be exquisitely prepared and plated; the aforementioned fish was good but not up to the same standard as the other courses. We included the wine pairing and so had the opportunity to taste eight Hungarian wines in addition to the food. The sommelier was knowledgeable and engaging. Seating in the restaurant was very comfortable, clearly designed for a long, leisurely meal. Wait staff were attentive and informative."

"I went for the vegan seasonal toast option. As always it is nice to have a colourful and healthy plate. However, I do feel as though the plate contained a lot of salad to make it look like more than what it was. I wasnt the biggest fan of the cold veg mixed in with the salad like the sprouts and cauliflower. On the other hand, the actual seasonal toast was tasty with the tofu on top aswell. "the service we received from rebecca in the spoiler was exceptionally enormous. we had the fish and chips, served with really beautiful mushy inherited, but it was in the necessity of a wee acid sauce on the side. but overall, amazing."

"We loved Baltazar so much, we at there twice on our Christmas vacation. We even had the exact same meal and wines and we never do that. We loved the atmosphere and all the unique Hungarian dishes on the menu and the wine list was quite extensive. We made a reservation both times since it was the holiday season, I am not sure that is always necessary. We were seated immediately. We had the Baltazar salad both times and I would highly recommend trying it. We also ordered the cheese board and the burger was amazing. Would definitely recommend and eat here again. Hopefully soon"

"From the moment we arrived, our experience at this restaurant was delightful. Tucked away in a peaceful area of the Buda hills, we entered through a charming private garden that surely blooms beautifully in the summer. The interior exuded early 20th century elegance, complete with a wood-paneled dining room and a baby grand piano. The menu offered a sophisticated take on traditional Hungarian dishes, using only the finest ingredients and presenting them generously. We enjoyed starters of goose pate, rillette, and smoked breast, followed by mains of goose and veal that were equally elegant. The Hungarian wines recommended to us were excellent, including a Cabernet Franc that could rival those from Bordeaux. For dessert, the chef prepared a lovely cheese plate with Feta, Brie, and a local cheese, accompanied by fruit, nuts, and toasted bread. A pianist arrived during our meal, playing classic jazz and show tunes, adding to the enchanting atmosphere. The quality of the food, service, and ambiance far exceeded our expectations, and we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable bill at the end of our meal. This restaurant truly offers a dining experience reminiscent of a bygone era."
