"From the moment we arrived, our experience at this restaurant was delightful. Tucked away in a peaceful area of the Buda hills, we entered through a charming private garden that surely blooms beautifully in the summer. The interior exuded early 20th century elegance, complete with a wood-paneled dining room and a baby grand piano. The menu offered a sophisticated take on traditional Hungarian dishes, using only the finest ingredients and presenting them generously. We enjoyed starters of goose pate, rillette, and smoked breast, followed by mains of goose and veal that were equally elegant. The Hungarian wines recommended to us were excellent, including a Cabernet Franc that could rival those from Bordeaux. For dessert, the chef prepared a lovely cheese plate with Feta, Brie, and a local cheese, accompanied by fruit, nuts, and toasted bread. A pianist arrived during our meal, playing classic jazz and show tunes, adding to the enchanting atmosphere. The quality of the food, service, and ambiance far exceeded our expectations, and we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable bill at the end of our meal. This restaurant truly offers a dining experience reminiscent of a bygone era."

Wonderful restaurant that is off the beaten path. We enjoyed the staff warm and friendly, the cuisine authentic and delectable, and the ambiance a magical setting on the hillside. Highly recommended!

Celebrated my fiancé’s 40th here and had a wonderful time. The food is good, wines even better, and service is unmatched. The garden is also beautiful and there is live piano music. Totally worth visiting! View menu

Service was fabulous! We sat in the garden and were invited to take our time, order at our leisure and enjoy several drinks throughout the meal. The food was amazing and well worth the price. Would recommend this for a special occasion for a couple or small group of friends.

If you think to go. Forget. We made a reservation expecting to have a special experience with Hungarian food in a different place far from the center and at beautiful Buda. First they let us waiting for almost half an hour to became to bring the menu. After they forgotten one of our starters. The main dishes arrived one our after. The food is good and some waitresses tried to fix things, but it was a disaster. Worst: they didn’t say that kitchen close at pm and when we ask for desert they told that it was closed. We ask to talk with the owner and he didn’t go and when we refuse to pay for the service, they didn’t like, but after minutes, accepted. We concluded that they hate tourists. Avoid...
