"I'm sorry I would like very much to like this restaurant. The first impression was very good.we didn't made reservation but they took us anyway. I love the grandma decor atmosphere with authentic feelings. Felt like we were the only foreigners there. Seems it's famous among locals. For those who read my reviews here and would like to try this resto, please please dont get the fish with nut sauce appetiser.. it taste awful!!.. octopus was good.. mix fried seafood was good. But I think the total price was very expensive for what it is. Services between course was too long..I understand its a small resto with limited staff.. I suspect they're doing this so they can remain local clients rather than us tourist.."

"we stayed here at lunch without reservation (forklift that for some reason did not let us book) and were so kind to find a place. we ordered a myrtuous, a carbonara and a pastry outside the menu accompanied by three beers and fresh water. the price is large and adequate, the portions are abundant (a dish is good for two people or three who want a plentiful goto). we have already come before, always at lunch and we were very well both times, the staff is kind and attentive. If you can't finish the dish, you can remove the advanced pasta without problems, just ask the waiters to transfer it to a container."

"siamo entrati in questa pizzeria (chiamo le citazioni perché sulla mappa una pizzeria ma il servizio ristorante) praticamente per caso. all'ingresso l'atmosfera era molto piacevole. posto molto tranquillo, musica jazz sullo sfondo, dipinti pop art colorati attaccati alle pareti. il menu (molto veloce, ma ho capito allora il perché prevede una scelta di pizze con combinazioni spesso ricercate. anche per avere un solido punto di riferimento I e il mio partner hanno scelto due pizze tradizionali (un gorgonzola e rucola e un bufalo e basilico). le pizze sono arrivate in pochi minuti e siamo stati subito stupiti dalla qualità (piastra molto leggera, spigoli croccanti, ingredienti della vestizione di assoluta qualità e per le dimensioni generose. hanno saziato senza pesare. abbiamo preso un dessert in due (grano con caramello): Anche questo è molto buono! Il caffè ha chiuso la cena. il risultato onesto e quasi ci ha sorpreso, data la qualità del cibo e l'ottimo servizio fornito. Alla fine abbiamo capito la ragione di un uomo breve: sono tutte pizze molto curate e per niente banali. non un mix casuale di condimenti ma il frutto di una ricerca sui goti. torneremo sicuramente per provare anche quelli più fantasiosi, ne vale la pena! Insomma, una volta che il caso ci ha portato a scegliere il meglio che potevamo desiderare per una serata tranquilla."

"it was long ago he wanted sndarvmci intrigued by the outside view of the room. small row to enter due to green pass verification. Given my disability, or a walker, they immediately prodigated for the search of the suitable table, a table with a chair and the sofa where we could place the walker so that it wouldn't bother. there were many options both among the beers, crafts served in big mouths, but also of other drinks. also the varied menu ranges to dahlia hanburgher, salads, meat. we took a grill served with sauces to beer, and a small gardener that I did not eat because of vinegar. abundant meat, goose with side of potatoes baked. We didn't have the ability to finish it so we brought a dog bag divve put the chicken thighs and the advanced potatoes. various say with present beer as an ingredient. prices are in the norm if you want to eat quality stuff I returned with friends and this time I tried pizza. really good, read well-knowledged. I added pictures of the pizzas and the grilled meat."

"Prima volta che ci vengo insieme con mia sorella; ci siamo un montaditos a testa (piccoli panini ripieni), con piccole polpette di pollo, con delle patatine, una pinta di birra (birra Cruzcampo); il tutto con solo 10€ e il cibo di qualità. Mi è piaciuto molto, anche quando la ragazza alla cassa, mi ha chiesto un documento di identità, perché voleva sapere se fossi maggiorenne o meno; secondo me dovrebbero farlo tutti i locali che vendono gli alcolici."

"Andato in settimana con amici. Locale molto vuoto, mi ha sorpreso. Oltre a noi, solo 2 tavoli occupati. In ogni caso, buoni taglieri di salumi e formaggi (specie i formaggi) di antipasto. 2 taglieri più che sufficienti per 5. Poi fiorentina di bovino polacco da 1.2 kg per 3 persone (2 hanno preso la tagliata) veramente buona e ben cotta. Ci è stato suggerito di aggiungere un pezzo di scamone ma ce ne siamo un pò pentiti. Contorni di patate arrosto e fritte. Due buone bottiglie di vino (Cenere e Rocca Rubia) e conto da 54 euro a cranio. Tutto sommato corretto."

"Mi dispiace non dare un buon punteggio ad un locale. Purtroppo e' stato sotto le aspettative. Premio i camerieri, gentilissimi e simpatici, premio la ragazza buttadentro che con i suoi modi gentili e la sua bella presenza creca di convincerti a fermarti li (con noi e' stato facile, siamo andati apposta per provare il locale). Ma lascia perplesso il fritto misto, con calamari pressocche' inesistenti, la carbonara di mare sembrava piu' una pasta allo scoglio ed il pasticcio carlofortino (il tonno! dov'e' il tonno I piatti erano comunque buoni e le porzioni adeguate, il pane era del giorno prima -era domenica, in parte li scusiamo, ma -perche' non metterlo tostato allora? ed infine stonava su tutto la tenuta del responsabile, in t-shirt (i camerieri erano invece impeccabili). Prezzo nella media. Si puo' fare meglio,,,"

"My boyfriend and I had one night in Cagliari and as he has a dairy allergy we thought sushi would be safe to eat. We found sushi Tao on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a go. We had a boat of sushi, sashimi and maki rolls and it was amazing. The fish was so fresh and everything was so tasty. We also had some tempura (also delicious) and some sake which we loved. The service was so lovely, it was such a nice meal if we were staying for longer we would have gone back. If you like sushi/sashimi they are a must visit!"

"Picanhito express: Locale carino stile USA in pieno centro, piccolo ma confortevole anche se si esce con odore di cucina sugli abiti ma fà parte del gioco. Hamburger eccellenti angus cotti benissimo e conditi con prodotti di ottima qualità. Ingredienti freschi di stagione come porcini e carciofi in questo periodo. Patatine fresche non surgelate comprese. Introvabile ma quì presente la mitica IPA Lagunitas. Prezzi alti ma giustificati dall'alta qualità. Personale gentile e attento. Non accettano prenotazioni per tanto se ci si vuol sedere subito è d'obbligo arrivare alle altrimenti si aspetta un pò. Picanhito via Salaris: abbastanza deluso, vista la precedente, ottima, esperienza del locale di via Azuni. Hamburger con carne buona ma troppo unti e asciutti. Patatine fresche ma anche queste molto unte. Posti all'aperto per nulla confortevoli e senza privacy, oltretutto nella galleria abbastanza tetra. Prezzi alti in rapporto alla qualità. Personale cordiale e professionale. Consiglierei un piccolo rinnovamento al locale (sembrava di essere ancora nel messicano)"

"Like many restaurants in Italy that count on a number of regular customers, this place has fixed price menus and no matter how much you eat, you will end up paying the price you had agreed to begin with. Do not expect to be seated and read a menu. The waiter is going to tell you what is available on that day. We had a greed on a 35€ per person, and that is what we paid, even though 3 of us did not even have fish dishes. As we arrived, we were served the appetizers, which where all quite good (I did not like the squid, but I think it is a matter of personal taste). We had the house white wine to begin with, which was so so, and ended up asking for a bottle of a better wine. Once we were done with the appetizers, we had pasta. I had the spaghetti with mussles, clams, bottarga and saffron and they were truly delicious, my sister and my mom had the ones with tomatoes, shrimps and clams, and my father and my sister 's fiancé had the spaghetti with ricci di mare (a local specialty). First of all, the portions are HUGE. My portion of spaghetti would easily feed 3. EASILY, and it was meant to be for one. Of the other spaghetti, to be honest I have had better spaghetti with ricci di mare. My mom makes it tastier. By then, we were full, so we only ordered a portion of grilled shrimps which passed my father very high standard, and fried calamari. I did not try any of that, I was too full by then. We then had coffee and sweets. And, as I said, even though 3 of us did not have a seafood main course, we paid as if we did. All in all, the food is very good and fresh, but the pasta portions are too good to make sense. My suggestion is, if you are booking for 5, just ask for 3 meals unless you all have a HUGE appetite (many people in there were actually quite fat haha). As for the service, it was ok do not expect a posh restaurant where you can go on a date. This place gets crowded and loud! Service is quite fast, but because tables are a bit tight, waiters do not serve in the proper way ie removing plates from the side but rather from the front."

"Went twice here during 2 months in Cagliari. The food is good, fresh fish, very succulent and a good choice on the menu of all things Sushi. Japanese chefs and they clearly know what they are doing. Unfortunately service is very poor, they had one...moody lady working, took forever to take our initial drink order. She barely smiled and clearly had the hump. Worse however she took our order wrong as the final two plates were never delivered , I then asked for the dishes again she confirmed, when they didn't arrive the second time after 20 mins wait, the manager stated she forgot'. We were not best pleased and the waitress herself made no effort to amend the situation, awful! Service is huge for me and even on our first visit they brought the wrong dish out (though excused as they did replace it promptly) . The manager kindly gave us 10% of the bill this time. But it's clear some of the staff are overly incompetent, wouldn't return or recommend unfortunately."

"Going nuts at a cafe trying to Figure out a Locale walking distance to eat at and our eyes were hurting from SmartPhone over Use. I decided to try and Old trick and asked the waitress much to the Dismay of the other people in our Group . She recommended a Restaurant and Was calling making a Reservation when 4 or 5 other Ladys sitting at a Table Close by , All agreed in Italian with Enthusiasm so that clinched the deal as far as I was concerned. When we got there the girls complained it did not have outside Tables , No View etc , but the Men insisted and we waited till 830 when they Opened We were all Glad we did , as the Place was very Clean and Organized and the Service ,Ambience and Selection of Dishes was excellent I had a Primo Piato of Penne Arabiata Al Dente, that was the best I have had in the last 25 years. Then I have the Roast Suckling Pig served with Skin and Potatoes that reminded me of a pre 35 Years Lechon Asadao in the Cuban section of Miami . The Meatballs , and the Tagliata were excellent , such as was the Waiter serving my Wife a by the Glass Rose ,by bringing the Bottle Tableside and letting her try a Sip of the opened before US Bottle. I was a Little Surprised when The First Reviews were a 4.2 and then Later on in the Google search we found a 4.5 that is more Fitting . And we saw wonderfully served and Seafood Dishes . And the prices are very reasonable This is a Dont Miss in My Opinion ."

"We docked in Cagliari for the day while,on a cruise and we always like to have lunch out on port days, we found this lovely restaurant up one of the side streets away from the crowds. They specialice in seafood and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and as we were deciding what to have on the menu the owner gave us a glass of prosecco complimentary, which was a very nice touch. The food was very good my friend had fresh lobster with pasta and I had seafood ravioli and both were delicious, the wine was very good and both food and wine were very reasonably priced. The staff could not do enough for us, even gave us complimentary local pastries to try and they were delicious. Will definitely return here again when we next visit."

"update I returned to a distance of more than a year and after having booked I could sit in an outside table as I requested. Unfortunately I touched a table with iron chairs that turned out very uncomfortable, I would ask the direction to add at least the pillows to make the seat a little more comfortable. this time I tasted a traditional Bolognese pizza without filling cornice and it turned out even to say delicious with a soft and cooked dough to the right point while the companion pushed by the waiter's advice, filled the cornice of his with mozzarella, salmon and other ingredients. it has turned out to be a mixture of flavors that are not appreciable more suitable for an American than Italian pizza. However, I continue to feel this pizzeria one of the best in the city and I will return to try new pizzas from the rich menu. I got to go to the good volcano one Friday night and the place was crowded. Despite this we were served within a quarter of an hour. the menu is vast and the pizza I chose was with tomato, mozzarella, capers and anchovies, pecorino and zucca flowers. the dough was soft and tasty and in general I was very satisfied with the size (media). the prices were in the norm and perhaps even lower than the average that to curdles is not at all low. the only neo is the capacity of the local and the hot but pizza is really good."

"I like the restaurant very much. You always feel comfortable in a family environment. This time, for lunch, we tried meat (we usually ate fish). We ordered two horse steaks and grilled vegetables. Everything was very good. Really soft and tasty meat. Average prices, not expensive. Friendly, attentive and fast service. We drank two glasses of Karmis, water and two coffees. We spent €44 in total between us. We usually eat outside but, since it was lunch and it was the end of July, we decided to eat inside. The only flaw was the heat, doors open and air conditioning off. Otherwise an excellent restaurant in the center of Cagliari."

"What a lovely and charming family run restaurant! Food is authentic and made with lots of love. Hence why it is always packed with locals (including ex Italian football legend Gigi Riva and his family). We ended up going twice in the space of just two days. Will definitely recommend if you are in the vicinity of Via Garibaldi shopping street. La zuppa di cozze is to die for. Prices are also very reasonable you won't break the bank.
