"Aircraft reserved for the 70 spring of one of our couple. A confirmation was sent to us and reconfirmed on D-Day; The Ciro 's Barrière whose access is made by the famous boards is very attached to its customer experience. The menus were delicious, fine, tasteful associated with an unparalleled table presentation. During this moment a small waitress offered us to immortalize this moment with our smartphone; very friendly gesture towards us. As for service; it was more than perfect, giving us time to appreciate all our dishes and more at our pace; We were so good, with a wonderful sunset that we enjoyed this sublime dinner. The staff accompanied us gently on this beautiful evening of July 24, 2023. The cost is the expected benefit. We'll come back, and yes our experience was great. "We had an exceptional experience in this restaurant! The dishes were tasty, the generous portions, and the team was simply remarkable (thanks to them). Despite prices that may seem high, quality justifies each euro spent. A memorable evening in every respect! Thank you very much, it's nice! "Séjournant a l hôtel royal, l hôtel nous offre deux coupes de champagne a boire au Plaza café. Un des serveurs (le plus âgé) voit que j ai un ticket pour les consommations dans les mains, me regarde, éclate de rire et va servir d autres personnes arrivées après nous. Puis il parle a l oreille d un autre serveur, ils rient tous les deux et ce dernier vient nous servir une petite dizaine de minutes plus tard, avec un sourire moqueur. Le champagne (j ai un gros doute sur l appellation de ce qui nous a été servi) était tellement mauvais que nous n avons rien bu. Je ne fais pas l aumône. Pitoyable."

"The ambience is lovely... Right on the ocean watching the sunset! Service was very slow, disorganized and unprofessional. The appetizers were ok ....average actually. The main course was good but not hot enough. Dessert was good. Overall, for such a famous, expensive restaurant, the experience was disappointing."

"Client peu habitué mais quand meme nous venons souvent à l'hôtel normandy et en profitons pour dîner à la belle époque . Le dernier dîner en date était en 2014 et était une réussite comme toujours . La je parle du brunch du dimanche 25 juin 2017 qui était absolument parfait , un très large choix de mets était proposé ( les terrines étaient à tomber ) . Le banc de l'ecailler aussi était une réussite avec des langoustines et une mayonnaise qui m'on fait décoller ! Le vin proposé ( nous avons pris blanc et rosé ) frais et parfaitement accordé ! Nous avons fait découvrir l'hôtel et le restaurant à nos amis qui ne manqueront pas de revenir c'est certain ! Merci pour ces moments de qualités ."

"I went here for dinner as I liked the look of it for me to have a dinner on my own.I was seated on a small table by the bar. There was the option of a street side terrace but it was getting late and a bit cool and I was in just a shirt so I opted for the inside table.The owners and the staff were busy but attentive.I had the Tartare de Crabe for starter which was very tastey, a perfect appetiser as it was light and fresh.For mains I had the Cabillaud au Chorizo, which was cod with some chorizo and mash potatoes.I really like chorizo so I would have prefers some more but it was good and spicy type so maybe it was for the best.The fish was perfectly cooked.For dessert I indulged with the Tarte Tatin Calva, a nice peach pie with side of whipped cream. The Calva element was calvados brandy that was lit table side and poured hot over the pie. A nice piece of table theatre.A nice but rich dessert with the brandy.As I was on my own I just had a Pichet (small carafe, 25cl?) of Muscadet, a nice white wine. The total bill was €54.40 which is pricey enough for one dinner.This is not surprising in Deauville which is renowned not just for its fine food but for its hefty pricing. In comparison to my recent vacation in Crete where we had some delicious quality meals for two for the same price it was a shock but in comparison to some capital cities it is not that big a difference. Good food is always good value.A nice location, nice staff with good food it is worth a visit."
