"I went here for dinner as I liked the look of it for me to have a dinner on my own.I was seated on a small table by the bar. There was the option of a street side terrace but it was getting late and a bit cool and I was in just a shirt so I opted for the inside table. The owners and the staff were busy but attentive.I had the Tartare de Crabe for starter which was very tastey, a perfect appetiser as it was light and fresh. For mains I had the Cabillaud au Chorizo, which was cod with some chorizo and mash potatoes.I really like chorizo so I would have prefers some more but it was good and spicy type so maybe it was for the best. The fish was perfectly cooked. For dessert I indulged with the Tarte Tatin Calva, a nice peach pie with side of whipped cream. The Calva element was calvados brandy that was lit table side and poured hot over the pie. A nice piece of table theatre.A nice but rich dessert with the brandy. As I was on my own I just had a Pichet (small carafe, 25cl?) of Muscadet, a nice white wine. The total bill was €54.40 which is pricey enough for one dinner. This is not surprising in Deauville which is renowned not just for its fine food but for its hefty pricing. In comparison to my recent vacation in Crete where we had some delicious quality meals for two for the same price it was a shock but in comparison to some capital cities it is not that big a difference. Good food is always good value.A nice location, nice staff with good food it is worth a visit."

Great little cafe for coffee, tea, lunch or early evening drinks to sit outside and watch the Deauville world go by.

Had an excellent meal with great service. Ate the Formule meal of the day which could't have been better. Great value, good food and service. Recommend.

This place is really not worth it. Everything is expensive and food is less than average. Salads are at 17 euros and nowhere close to good. Absolutely avoid it.

Nice looking place in the center of Deauville, but the food isn't worth the price. Good wine but also pricy... Service is "comme çi comme ça" and absolutement no english. Had salmon and mashed potatoes. Quite small portion.. View menu

Yummy crepe. Generous portion and plenty for 2.Good location.Reasonably priced - although the freshly squeezed juice was pretty pricey for the size of portion.Staff okay. Nothing special in that regard and certainly lesser than service in other restaurants we visited on our trip.

This corner restaurant, in a prime location just opposite city hall, has been in existence since decades. There is a photograph from 1900 when it known as “Bar de la Poste”. This special atmosphere, however, did not justify the average food and relatively high prices. The waffles we ordered were tasteless and served rather cold. For tourists to Deauville, this is a good place to have a drink and watch the world go by.

Having wandered around Trouville-Sur-Mer for over an hour we wanted somewhere to eat, relax and watch the world go by. We came across Le Brasserie de La Mairie and decided to give it a go. The beer was cold and thirst quenching and the waitress gave helpful advice about our initial choice of rose wine. The portions were substantial and we did not have to wait long for the food which was ultimately of good quality. The Brasserie is located in a slightly more quiet part of the town which makes for a more pleasant surrounding. Would certainly go back. View menu

Didn't enjoy our dinner here at all. I had the mussels which should have been great in a seaside town in France however they were not good. I'm used to my mussels being washed and the barnicals removed - especially in a restaurant. My partner had the steak which he request rare. This came out medium to well done and looked a bit fatty around the outside. We both had chips and they looked like they had been under the heater for hours - dry and wrinkly. The bar is lovely though, we sat outside with a bottle of rose after dinner and it was very nice. Nice location, nice waiter and great wine.

We were only one day in Deauville and maybe on a bad moment because all places were really full on that moment but this was over the edge. We had a quick drink ordered at the bar because the waiters were runing around as hell. When I got my drinks (Two waters and a beer) I paid 20€ and was waiting for he change. When it took long I asked the woman at the bar but she waved, it's correct no change? Unbelievable, as a test I ordered a next round at a waiter (It was calmer on that moment) who served us and gave us mOre then 5€ change. I was really upset for this but we stepped outside and tried to forget that such people are still existing. Tourists stay away.
