"The customer service at this restaurant is exceptional. The restaurant itself is clean and stylish. The chairs may be a bit low for taller individuals, but they are comfortable. The food is absolutely amazing and there is plenty of it. We tried the chicken chat puree and found it to be delicious. The Pehwari naan was outstanding. Our main dishes, the Biryani and special balti, were superb. The quality of the food far exceeded our expectations. The wine selection is good, and we enjoyed the Australian Shiraz. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning. It was a wonderful place to spend my birthday evening."

"AVOID AT ANY COST!!! AGGRESSIVE STAFF, SWEARING AND SCREAMING!! We came in ordering food for take away, after over 30 min wait we ask when the food will be ready, they said is a busy night and it will take time, but we weren 't informed beforehand, we had plans and weren 't prepared for 30+ min wait inside for takeaway! He start saying that people call earlier to order and wait is from 40 to 90 minutes on that day, we said we should be informed before so we wouldn 't order. He start getting rude so we requested the refund as we didn 't want to eat from a place that we just waisted 40 min for and instead of apologising for their mistake they start calling us ridiculous and refused the refund. When one of employees finally agreed to refund they start swearing and screaming, telling us to f off and start waving hands in front of our faces. I was never treated like that before, horrible attitude towards the costumer, I 'd give 0 stars if I could."

"Ordered food last night, large order for 6 people. Food was delicious and tasty. We had to wait about 30 minutes longer than expected but it was worth the wait. We all commented on how much we enjoyed it good sized portions and they serve Thali which was a bonus. Complimentary poppdoms too. Would definitely recommend and order from here again when in the area"

"I have never written a review before, but I feel compelled to do so for this establishment. My daughter was there on Friday, 13 May with some colleagues. She is not typically outgoing and usually only went out when required for work. She had a negative experience where she was embarrassed by one of her colleagues and was left feeling upset and scared. This is the reason for my review. The doormen at this venue were exceptional. One of them (the larger one at the door) was wearing a white shirt, black tie, and had a shaved head. He reassured her that she was safe and not alone or lost. They waited with her until one of her colleagues came out and they went for a walk. Later that night, at 00:45, my wife went to look for her. The doorman immediately knew who my wife was talking about and knew exactly where our daughter had gone, even giving a description of her colleague. We found both of them safe and sound. I want to extend a huge thank you to this venue and especially to the two doormen at their door. They went above and beyond in ensuring the safety and well-being of their guests."

"We came in after my daughter’s appointment as a treat. Staff were friendly and welcoming, food was quite quick and tasty, son enjoyed the play area whilst waiting for the food (which really helps as he is autistic and struggles to sit patiently), and I received blue light card discount which was a bonus so close to Christmas! Will definitely come again, and have already recommended the Rock Rose to friends and family! Parking: Has its own large car park. A few disabled spaces close to the entrance we didn’t need to use, but did notice them. Kid-friendliness: Has kids play area, ideal for smaller children, not for older children. Up to 8 years old maybe? Wheelchair accessibility: Did not need accessibility, but it is all on one level and would be completely wheelchair accessible (in my opinion)."

"Looking for a veggie friendly brunch/lunch and was not disappointed. Greeted warmly with smiles and enticing atmosphere. Just missed the breakfast but not a problem. I opted for the brunch sandwich using their homemade sourdough and a chai latte. Sandwich was delicious and filling, no one ingredient overpowering the other. Chai latte was the best I've ever had, (and I've had a few), presented beautifully and such a taste sensation. Well done Pop Up, long may you remain! From a difficult vegetarian, I salute you!"

"Have eaten a few times in the hare and hounds now. Pop in for a drink every couple of weeks as well. Amazing pub serving too quality food. Jade and Danny have done a superb job at transforming the pub and what a fab landlady and landlord the pub has got. Great selection of drinks and a lovely menu serving homemade meals. Food is fantastic quality and always just the way you want it. Couldn’t ask for any more. What more could you want. Fab food, fantastic drinks selection and friendly service. Beautiful open fire to give it that perfect cosy feel. Would highly recommend even if your just passing for a drink I’m sure you wouldn’t be disappointed but what would really tickle your taste buds would be the astounding food!"

"I just had Sunday brunch in this coffee shop. I have been vegetarian for twenty-five years and my thirteen-year-old daughter has just passed from the dark side. my partner who eats everything that floats, runs or crawls decided to treat us to a meat-free meal after seeing an article in the km. the shop room is quite with low loudness tune music in the background play. the aroma of the freshly baked scenes reminded me of my old nans kitchen. the coffee shop itself is tiny and feels a bit like eating in a living room. very cozy and informal when a little strange. the food was excellent, however, and the reception from our host was warm. cured carnivores will struggle with the concept of a vegan sausage, but my partner has to enjoy a mussel. their alternative breakfast, and we will return. especially I enjoyed the sourdough bread and the jam and the coffee was excellent. well done."

"we order regularly from hey to get our full of Chinese cuisine available due to the many number of options available. it is a nice experience to simply order the menu without asking if this can be prepared vegan and we know that if we want something from the vegan menu, they will do their best to adapt it. but eating was quite oily last time and not very hot, but we will put this on us to order new year! another criticism would be that they don't have many vegan options that are just sweet, and sometimes we need a break from fake meat. but overall worth visiting!"

"After enjoying a Sunday lunch here back in October, we returned for a Saturday night dinner and were once again impressed. The food, which included dishes like lobster thermidor and beetroot wellington, was of high quality, fresh, well presented, and full of delicious flavors. The chefs here clearly know what they're doing. Our server was professional and charming, adding to our overall positive experience. The atmosphere and decor of The Marquis were lovely and added to the overall vibe of the restaurant. They are definitely doing something right here and it's worth a visit."

"Turned up here mob handed unannounced for a table of 8. Dan greeted us at the front saying follow me we can squeeze you in The place was very busy as usual for breakfast and before we knew it Dan had made a table up and we was ready to tuck in. £9.99 all you can eat breakfast buffet is certainly not recommended by my Dr, but i couldn 't resist going back up for more, whilst the kids were actually interacting with each other with smiles and laughter. (It 's normally screaming, fighting and crying at home. So I wasn 't going to turn this opportunity for prolonged happiness down) All the ingredients are replenished in good time. The sign of a good team when everything runs smoothly in what sometimes must feel like chaos for them. After 8 cups of coffee, and a forced pan au chocolate down. (Just to try) We all headed back home to nurse our food comas. Keep up the good work Dan and team."

"we visited this gem of a cafe today for lunch . Apart from the amazing quality of the food we felt we had to compliment the management about their compliance regarding Covid 19. The place is spotlessly clean throughout , tables and chairs were being cleaned after each visit and sanitizers were at all key points within the restaurant. We have eaten here quite a few times for breakfast and lunch and it just gets better every time. Eggs don't come much fresher as the chickens are roaming around right near the car park ! I was disappointed that I couldnt purchase any from the farms shop as they had sold out. The young lady said the hens couldn't keep up with demand . The Staff are really friendly and accommodating . Their cakes are really yummy too. We will certainly return very soon."

"We eat from here very often, last night we had an issue where our order was accepted and they was actually closed (technical glitch) no real drama, worst things have happened but today they called to apologise. Not only is the food quality, so are the family that run the business. I’m leaving his review after eating from them for a very long time, but because of the quality of the food (which is very good) but because of the customer service which is exceptional and you don’t receive it very often, support local and enjoy, it’s very good"

"beautiful quiet location, our room was a twin room and they managed to create a z-bed for my grand in the last minute. beautiful decor, large enough showers, but wash basin in the bedroom, but no problem. a thing I loved was the fact that there were many cans near the beds and one at the side of the entire length mirror to dry my hair. there was also a ventilator to use when it was warm. only complain about the room and this is a small, no cups for my morning coffee just teasing. eating was nice, had a steakburger and it's the best I had in a long time. owners are beautiful and acquiring, even when we posted the room keys through the mailbox and then recognized we had left the car keys in the room. I'm sure they'll stay here."

"Called in here by chance, although I've lived in Walmer for nearly 30 years I've never been in and I was pleasantly surprised. My husband an myself just wanted a coffee but after looking at the menu decided on a toastie which was lovely, the coffee was also very nice and I decided to take away a slab of cheese and onion bread and some iced buns, all of which was very tasty. "This evening had no ambiance. the hotel made no effort at all to create an atmosphere. The food was mediocre and the staff were young and inexperienced. They were polite but required guidance which was not given by Supervisor. The Supervisor was abrupt and sharp and seemed to have no patience. The actors hired did a good job. Overall I could forget about this evening very easily."

"This secluded location is within the Princes Golf Club in Sandwich. Access is via a private road, where you need to tell nice man on gate that you are going to dine otherwise you are charged to enter the area. The road winds round the course and turns along the seafront of the English Channel at Sandwich Bay. Plenty of parking. The Brasserie is at the back of the building overlooking the golf course. We went on a Sunday for lunch which was either set menu or bar food. We went for the set menu at 17.50 for 2 courses or 23.50 for 3 courses. I had fresh mackerel to start which was very nice, followed by roast beef cooked to your taste, with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and veg. The portions are big so unfortunately we never got to the sweets. Staff were pleasant and efficient, surroundings are modern and there is a log burned which I guess is lit in winter. I would have no hesitation in going back and am sure I will a great experience an hidden gem!There hotel attached and the venue can be hired for weddings or special occasions."
