"Our breakfast experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. After waiting for 40 minutes, we had to inquire about our order with a young waitress who never came back after checking. Another lady eventually brought us our food, but it was not up to standard. The pancakes with bacon were cold, and the scone was rock hard and inedible. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the lady who apologized and acknowledged the unacceptable food quality. We declined a replacement, as we had already been waiting for almost an hour. When it came time to pay, we were surprised to find that the drinks had been deducted from the bill, leaving only the cost of the food. Despite feeling uncomfortable, we refused to pay for the subpar meal, only paying for the drinks. The whole experience was upsetting, and we have decided not to return to this restaurant."

The bacon sandwich was excellent and they offered HP sauce to add to it. The bacon was high quality and not watered down. The coffee was perfect as well.

Had a lovely breakfast today with my Nan at Gibsons Farm shop cafe. The waitresses were really friendly and great with my dogs. The quality of the breakfast was excellent and really tasty. Great experience all round, Thank you!

We went for brunch which was very tasty and good value for money. They have a good selection of food. I do agree with some of the other reviews that the only thing letting it down slightly is the staff who could be friendlier and more welcoming.

Stopped off here yesterday. Visitors to the area so haven’t been here before. We were very impressed with this Cafe the food was absolutely delicious. We had a late breakfast, just made the cut off time. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience even bought a few things in the wonderful farm shop. A gem of a find will definitely return next time we are in the area. View menu

Nice place to eat if you’re prepared to wait. First time we went we waited ages. We had to ask if our order was in. We gave them the benefit of the doubt so we went back a few days later. We put our order in, waited, then someone who came in after us was served before us. So we got up and left. A shame we experienced such bad service, it is a nice place for shopping and or a meal

We walked through the shop and saw the delicious cakes on offering the shop. So we decided to go into the cake and have a drink and a cake or other. After waiting 10 mins our order was taken . One of us ordered a rock bun with the drink and the other a scone. The rock bun was brought oou first and the scone 5 mins later. The rock bun was very dry. But I had to ask the waitress to take my scone away..... It was a tiny ball and looked nothing like a scone, and I have seen many scones in my time!!! Never again....... Wish I had taken a photo.....

We stopped here for lunch with our eight year old grandson. Shown to a table then waited 20 mins watching 2 inexperienced waiting staff trying to give orders to wrong tables. We managed to order. There did not appear to be children’s options. The chosen ploughman’s wasn’t available to order 2 x Ham egg and chips and one scampi plus two teas. No knife for grandson so had to request, sauce was in sachets. Yea came finished that then food came . Requested 2 more teas- they never arrived. Whilst scampi was nice the eggs were cold and snotty and the ham was really fatty. Overall not impressed. View menu

Before the lockdown, we used to regularly visit this café and found the staff to be lovely and friendly, and the food to be good. However, after the lockdown, we were disappointed with our experience and stopped going. During Christmas, we were with family who had been for breakfast in December and recommended that we give it another try. As it was my husband's birthday, we decided to go back with friends for breakfast. We were pleased to find that the food was delicious - my scrambled egg and salmon was cooked perfectly, and the men enjoyed their full English breakfast. The only thing that was lacking was friendlier staff - a simple smile can make all the difference in making customers feel...

I love the food in the cafe but it’s sooooo slow. First time we came, it was busy so we completely understood. Second time we came was near opening time and again, really slow even though we were one of the first to get here. When we came to pay at the toll, we stood there for ages while they just made drinks and ignored us. Third time we came again it was busy again but even slower. I don’t mind waiting but it takes a good 10/15 minutes to even get asked if you want a drink and to place your order when it’s very clear we are sat here waiting, having made our decision. I can’t come back again because it’s just interminable which is a real shame as I think the food is great. Please read the r...
