"Visits Monday night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food was great! We drove through Reading and stayed at the hotel (one night), so wanted to eat something on site. We had read a few reviews that say it was something meh, but our experience wasn't that! We had both appetizers that we did not regret later on because of the quality, but because none of us could finish our net, which was absolutely wonderful!!!! The butter Chicken sauce was completely divine! Upstairs when out, the house Pinot was cold and sweet and the Cobra beer was fizzy. Both perfect compliments for our meal. If we go through reading again, we would absolutely not hesitate to eat there. 5 stars of us!"

"On Saturday night we ordered from Spice. We ordered online through their website and delivery was 45 min since placing order. The staff was kind and helpful, prodigal with explanations. Superlative food, I am not speaking as a connoisseur of Indian cuisine, but the softness of the meat, the flavour, the feeling of freshness of the ingredients speak a universal language. Absolutely recommended. Adequate price."

"I was so pleased at how quickly they delivered and the staff taking the order. However, I now know why! They can surely not be doing very much business as the food was swimming in sauce. There was only 7 bits of meat (small as well! In each of the items I ordered (lamb Goan and chicken balti . The sauce was fine, and that's just it! FINE! BUT, the meat on the lamb was covered in salt. I have not tried the chicken yet but I imagine it will be the same. Then there is the rice (pilau . Poor quality is an under statement. Not what I would expect for basmati rice. I know as I lived in Hong Kong for over 25 years and rice is my form of carbs. We had many Indian restaurants out there and as it was back then, part of the british empire. Hence, the not adapted to UK standards. A true Indian (one of my school friends would not consider it good. This meal cost me £16.70! I would have better spent my money on a ding, ding microwave meal on one of Tesco's finest curry meals ,(also, not that great either but value wise would have been a better option . Please do not confuse this place (takeaway to the old Gandhi Restaurant which used to be in Cosham High Street. It was very good when I used to go there but it has since closed. A"

"I was taken by friends after our night out. I was not expecting to be as impressed as I was. I would say it’s a street food plus type restaurant, however the food does all the talking. There were a few of us so there was a wide selection of dishes that were ordered. As we were eating family style I got to try lots of dishes. All of them had depth of flavour and spice that made the food a delight to eat. Even though we had ordered a fair amount we went back for another portion of the salt and pepper wings (these are highly recommended). The staff were very friendly and enjoyed having a laugh with their customers. Hopefully they do well and if people realise how good the food is, they will be looking for somewhere bigger soon or a second restaurant. It’s nice to try a new food spot that makes the must go again soon list. Sorry there aren’t many photos, the food went down so quick."

"There were three families dining together, one of which was visiting Manjaros for the first time. A member of this family has a medical condition that requires him to drink his own water, which he brought in a small bottle. When a staff member questioned this, my friend tried to explain the situation. Instead of understanding, the staff insisted on consulting the manager. The manager then came back and began shouting at us, accusing us of bringing outside drinks despite it being the first time for my friend to visit. We were all taken aback by the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the manager. In the end, all three families decided to leave the restaurant politely. I must say that I deeply regret having been a patron of this restaurant for so long, and I will not be returning. I will also be sure to share my negative experience with others to ensure they are aware of the unprofessional behavior displayed by Manjaros Preston. Thank you for everything, but I will not be back."

"make a bit of a new round trip since she moved here for uni after trying the cheap and yet overpriced food along the caffe, they decided that nobody could screw up a burger meal. this place...maybe if they manage to get safely inside, the gauntlet of roadmen outside try to look good and forge both the builders and stands with limited health and safety knowledge and the UberEats/deliveroo drivers waiting outside, they get in, what looks like it might be cool in that it is no longer cool. prepare to repeat their order v-e-r-y slowly, at least three times before they get a knot and ask to share with a considerable sum of cash. I brought it home and slowly talking, had not worked as any piece that was pushed in the bag was wrong. if they thought mcdonald's lack of taste, then they will be disappointed here. not sure if there was a burger or the carton under a microwave castle? vegetarian housewife was given chicken. or soylentgreen. who knows how this place is open, I don't know, but I won't go back. I didn't want to complain personally because the roadman probably wouldn't have appreciated it. prove that they should stick to what they know."

"The milk tea is good, but the waiting time is unacceptable and the staff seems to be slacking. When I ordered today, I was warned that it might take twenty minutes to prepare my milk tea. This sounded very long for a single drink, but I was fine with it. Unfortunately, I did not receive anything for one hour. After this hour, I started asking them and was told to wait for another five minutes. Further ten minutes later, I asked again, which (I think) made them prioritise my drink. I'm not saying the staff there is not working at all, they do work, but they work very slowly."

"I am extremely disappointed with my recent experiences at Just Wings. Despite ordering online through their website, my orders have consistently been delayed, requiring me to call for updates. The excuses are always the same - "really busy tonight" or "not enough drivers." One time, I even offered to pick up my order myself, but was not offered any compensation. Tonight was no different, with my delivery time changing from 50 minutes to an hour and 20 minutes in an email, and now it has been over 2 hours. When I called to inquire about my order, I was told it was just being cooked and should have already been out for delivery. This is unacceptable, and I am still waiting for my food. All I received was a half-hearted apology, which does not make up for the poor service I have received."

"Now, back to the cream tea: it comes with two scones—one plain and one fruit—freshly baked on the premises, along with Rodda's cream, a pot of strawberry jam, and a pot of tea. I think they upgraded our tea pot at no extra cost when I mentioned we were sharing the cream tea. It was more than enough for us to enjoy two cups each. The scones were soft, warm, and a generous size. All the staff were incredibly friendly and chatty, which made the experience even better. There are plenty of tables inside, but the spacious outdoor seating area is a real treat. It's enclosed by glass panels, the grounds are well-maintained, and it's delightful to sit in the sun amidst the flowers, with an old railway line nearby. Inside, there are photographs of the railway when it was still in operation. We also tried bacon sandwiches with salad, but the menu has a lot more to offer, including sausage quiche and various snacks. The service was prompt, and the prices were very reasonable—definitely the best on the island!"

"that was good, but! at the arrival they are told that the food must be ordered from the app, which is in order, but after we were placed our order and paid for it, we were told that they have been harvested from beer. the waitress had no idea how to make the refund, and it seems that they don't have anyone who sorts out the thing. they promised that we will get the bee back in the next days and we have replaced it with a koks. the place looks old, untidy and dirty. the sitting area at the bottom smells like water. I'm sorry, the £45 bill for burger and didn't get worth it."

"I ordered chow main, which you would expect to come with meat, I got a tray full of dried noodles, with no sauce completely un eatable, Then waited another hour for special chow main for it to be delivered. "The burgers at this restaurant are average to good, but I feel they are overpriced for what you get. However, it's worth giving them a try because they have a good selection. A few friends and I decided to eat here after our favorite Tropical burger was removed from the menu. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not the best, but the delicious burger with blue cheese brought back memories of the tropics. The Tropical burger with blue cheese was the standout choice."

"I don't usually write reviews, but the service at this restaurant was exceptional! I placed my order and received my food within 30 minutes, even though I live at least a 10-minute drive away. "The chips are incredible—definitely the best I've ever had! They’re beautifully crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. As for the burger, wow! "I ordered a vegetable kebab and chips, while my partner had a chicken kebab. His looked decent, but mine was terrible. It was clear that they do not read their comments section. I have had vegetable kebabs from many places and they always include large or whole mushrooms, big chunks of peppers, onions, and tomatoes, with enough filling to fill a pita bread or more without the need for salad. However, in this case, I received a bunch of sloppy tomatoes, one sliced mushroom, small bits of pepper and onion that were barely there, and a pile of unwanted salad that filled the pita. To make matters worse, there was a pool of juice at the bottom that turned the pita into a soggy mess. This will be the first and last time I order from here. I wish I had listened to the other comments."
