"Visited for a tea time takeaway, yesterday. First fish and chips since March and lockdown. Good proper reasonably sized portion of chip shop chips. Nice batter on the just cooked haddock. The fish was nice and white, but could have been a bit bigger. Perfect...mushy peas but the size of the portion was minute. It wasn't a complicated order but the assistant struggled to get the right fish with the right portion of chips. With a bit of proper management this place could be a real find."

"Had a not so good experience ordering from here. I wanted to try the new vegan pizza and sides but it was cold and soggy by the time it got to me. I ordered olives on the pizza and there was genuinely one olive per slice on a large size. The caulliflower wings were overcooked on the inside and soggy on the outside. Pretty disappointed considering those two items came to £25!"

"This place scores 5 on the food hygiene ratings, which was a pleasant surprise, and the staff were very friendly. Fish was cooked fresh, and was a good sized portion with good chips. However, my meal was ruined by the lack of vinegar they put it on from a mist bottle like you use to water plants. I asked for extra, and it got another couple of sprays with the mist, but there was no option to put it on myself. In the end, I had to go to Nisa next door and buy myself a bottle to make the meal edible.OK, some people might not care, but I think fish and chips is ruined by not enough vinegar it wouldn't cost a lot more to leave a (normal) bottle on the counter for people to help themselves. A real shame as the food was good, but trying to cut corners with the vinegar means I won't be going back."

"The food was delivered promptly and the cake was warm. The Cheese Chest Pizza was presented beautifully. Papa John's included some tasty poppers. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate brownies for dessert. The fresh dough pizza had a great flavor. The updated look of the restaurant added to the charm of Shinfield Road."

"eating here was very good, good quality and choice plus I was very satisfied with the portion sizes. I only decided to choose from the Romanian selection of the menu, as it is not a part of the world I previously visited or sampled and I was very happy with the food I was served. my wife is Hungarian and since it was her birthday, they even made her a little bit out of the menu that they showed for me that they are more interested in having a great experience there than imagined to take her money. the personal, where super friendly and helpful throughout the evening, and although the restaurant did not lie in the most beautiful or have the greatest prospects it did not stop me back. try something else and give this place a try."

"What can I say? This restaurant exceeded my expectations in terms of food, service, and value! I’ve previously visited with my partner, who is quite particular about her food, and we both left with our plates entirely clean. "The Indian meal I had was absolutely fantastic. The lamb bhuna was tender and delicious, and the reshmi kebab was soft, flavorful, and tasty. Every bite was a delight for the taste buds. The variety of tasty dips that accompanied the meal was also impressive, and they were served promptly."

"Would not recommend this takeaway Kung fu gillingham very poor service rang at 17.00 hrs they said 45/50 mins rang 40 mins later to see if i could add something they said no the order had left we waited another 40 mins i rang again she said shecwould find out where it was 5 mins later it came luke warm we said we were not having it and the lady was rude and said do you want it or not as she had to do 4 deliveries before we said no i rang Ku fu again and told them i was not happy and they were not prepared to send anither one we have used this for many years but never again"

"I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the food served at this restaurant. The curry sauce was overly yellow and tasted like chicken stock, while the crispy beef was mostly batter with very little beef inside. Everything was way too salty, to the point where I can still taste the salt in my mouth. The salt and pepper chicken was also overly salty, with small bits of chicken mostly covered in batter. The dish was mostly onions and carrots, with only a few pieces of chicken. The spring rolls were average, but it is not difficult to deep fry pre-made spring rolls. The fried rice was especially disappointing, as it was excessively salty, something I have never experienced in Asian cuisine before. I feel ripped off for paying 20 pounds for this meal, especially considering the poor customer service from deliveroo. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again and would not recommend it to anyone else. The overall experience was a letdown, and I believe the restaurant should consider making improvements."

"I ordered two calzones from this restaurant and had to walk 5 minutes up the road to pick them up. When I checked them with a food probe, they were only 32 degrees and cold. I called the restaurant and my wife went back to exchange them. The girl behind the counter said she would make us two more, but then the manager walked in and demanded that we either take the cold ones or pay for two more. I went down myself to confront them and was met with a mouthful of abuse. They claimed the calzones went cold on the walk home and then started blaming two drunk customers in the shop. This whole experience was an absolute joke and I will never be coming back again."
