Yen Burger - Menu

had to order everything from an app that in turn service (the payment for them only to bring it to the table), lasted 20 minutes for 2 beers so afterwards. could see that all other age groups waited for food.

accidentally this place came and I am so glad. Eating and service were 10 stars. I am in all tranquility, how beautiful the wagyu bao bun burger was and the guava and cocos juice. even the pommes were better than the norm.

Great meal! Food was really really good. It was quite quiet whilst we were there but it was still a really great experience. Some items on the menu weren’t available, but we all still got great quality food and service. Would definitely go back!

All 3 of us got our meals at totally different times, starters came out with mains. 2 of us had finished before the 3rd meal was even delivered to the table. The toilet downstairs reeked so badly of sewage I went across the road to the pub to use the loo.

Quality of food is great, the burgers come a bit small.. We booked a table on a Saturday evening but unfortunately most of the drinks were sold out or only available warm as well as a couple of burgers were sold out. Drinks menu was therefor very limited. Overall the food was very nice though. The menu is very small, which is normally a good sign but it was a shame so much was sold out and the drinks menu was particularly small..

The food was good…But! upon arrival you are told the food needs to be ordered from the app which is fine, however after we placed our order and paid for it we were told they had ran out of beer. The waitress had no clue how to do the refund and it seems they don’t have anyone in charge to sort things out. She promised we’ll get the beer refunded in the next few days and we replaced it with a coke.The place looks old, untidy and dirty. The seating area downstairs smells of sewage. Sorry not worth the £45 bill for burgers and fries.

The food was very tasty. Initially when I arrived it was very busy and was told to go downstairs as more seating but when we went downstairs, there was no one there but after 10 mins, the host said if we wanted to go upstairs to eat as less people were there now, we said yes and made our way upstairs. There was a bit of a issue with the paying as we wanted to split some items but couldn't as they were using a tablet system that only states splitting all items or split the bill so in the end we just split the bill. Would deffo go back to try the chicken burger though !!

The food here is great what it says on the tin: burgers with a Japanese slant an interesting fusion. Well cooked and with some nice sides/extras. The pairing of a classic Angus burger with well seasoned Asian prawns is lovely and the 'Yen Buns ' that is one of the options for it is a very nice pale Japanese style bun (you can also get brioches and others). There are no potato chips on the menu, but the sweet potato chips are pretty good. The desserts also looks interesting, though I haven 't tried them yet. Mochi pairs well with ice cream and that 's something I have to try sometime. This is a place that is probably at it 's best when quiet (it 's a little cramped) and maybe also the downsta...
