"We found this place by accident as the restaurant we normally eat at was closed.....We always stay in Freising a couple days before we fly home. We have always strayed in the center of town, but for some reason everything was closing so we decided...to keep walking...we almost gave up when we turned the corner and saw the white lights of the beer garden and decided to give it a try....WONDERFUL PLACE. We have celebrated a couple birthday parties here and they always seem to find room for us when we walk in. The draft beer is wonderful and some of the best German food we have eaten. Staff is entertaining, but super busy ."

"If you happen to have a night in Munich, and want to venture outside the city, stop here for a delicious meal and well poured drink. I was in Germany for business and thought I'd venture outside the airport area Marriott the night before I flew home. I checked with some locals who told me this was the spot to go for dinner. Not being a meat eater, I thought twice before heading to a steakhouse. I headed out on foot bundled appropriately for the winter weather. Happy I took the risk. Everything was so flavorful! I had an excellent housemade veggie burger on a hearty bun and a pile of perfectly crispy seasoned fries along with a salad with just the right amount of dressing (no small feat)... made more enjoyable by an excellent mojito with fresh mint both muddled and blooming out of the glass. I was a happy girl. I saw other happy diners enjoying their aged steaks and savory sides that looked and smelled delicious as well. The ambiance was a plus as well. Understated and tasteful interior complemented by a bright lovely crowd, competent and attentive waitstaff and barman, and lively energy. It is February, so not the time to sit outside, but it looked to have a lovely courtyard area that would be utilized in warmer months. I always enjoy being surprised by excellent food and service to match!"

"of our food in the economy we were very disappointed. since we were recently the first time in the beer garden and this one has fallen very well in totality. I've ordered a black roast. So I haven't eaten such bad roast for a long time. the sauce was fad and transparent in front of loud fat. just a few drops of darker sauce have lost itself in there. the meat had a very unappetiful gray color, as the fat rim also looked like if it were too long under the warming lamp. the blue herb was unfortunately also a pure fall. pale color and barely taste. pity, the pub has so much potential with the beer garden. but with this type of food, the guests will probably stay far away."

"We have been eating regularly at the Ariston restaurant for six months and have never been disappointed. I spent many summer holidays in Greece as a child and am immediately back to happy sunny days when I eat here. The food is excellent and...different (so nice to see lamb and chicken on a menu in Germany, and my husband says that the fish plate is one of the best he ever had. The staff is attentive and friendly and the facilities are clean and modern. It is somewhat more expensive than the Italian place, but the amount of food and quality is not disappointed. The restaurant is also open all day on a Sunday so you can have a late breakfast and then a late lunch / dinner. Very recommended!"

"Et Cetera is a strange place in that it may come across on first appearances as not very appealing. I would say take the plunge and go enjoy a meal there. This restaurant is very popular among the local population and I would imagine that...this is due to the friendly, prompt service. It is comfortable and homely and in no way tries to be something other than a simple place to eat. The main purpose is to eat and on that front the restaurant does an adequate job. The fair is mostly Italian and every pasta and pizza that I have tried at this restaurant has been good. Definitely not the best I have had but certainly nothing to complain about and enough to want to go back. The only drawback is that they do not take cards so to avoid an awkward situation make sure you take along cash"

"zellers restaurant has reopened at the beginning of 2016, in the rooms of the former student pub B-trieb. very appealing renovated, good, non-penetrable lighting, good distance between the tables, comfortable chairs. very nice: on each table stand salt and pepper mills. attractive, not very large menu with partly fancy dressing (incl. wild dishes;) also three vegan and two vegetarian dishes! and right gray bread, non tasteless baguette! very extensive and clear information for allergic incl. Gluten allergy. small, good wine selection, beautiful beer, good alcohol-free drinks. we were to fish at the Ash Wednesday (special map fish) - very good. bad chick snacks in advance (very good taste), mixed fish plate and loup de mer, both with rice and vegetables, as main course large portions, very good taste, very good value for money. very friendly service (has brought a second suppen spoon for my wife, for example without request - we had only ordered one)!. a restaurant that will surely see us soon!"

"The Thai saeb, the tuna snack, I know about my many visits to Freising. On the grounds where the small shopping center Schlüter Hallen is also located, this wooden hut is located directly at the parking lot. Parking is available. Loading looks very different. I thought it's just a snack here and you can either order or eat outside or sit. The fact that Thai dishes can also be ordered at the Café am Schlüter is over. I've learned that recently. I wasn't there many times. To Go to Munich is not exactly reasonable and on site I often had bad luck with the weather. Besides, I've only found the food right. In the main dishes hardly meat, Tom Kha (cooked milk soup was really good, roasted noodles with chicken did not cut me out of the chair for the price of over 7 €. I love salads in Thai, but there are no salads here. Thai Saeb has been the subject for me for many years. Then I became curious again about an evaluation portal and the many overwhelming reviews. Two months ago it turned out that we were back in Freising and I immediately realized that I wanted to try the food again. The choice fell on baked bakers (small, seasoned chicken in a dough dish rides the hot here Giow Grob and costs €4.20 . The dough has crispy, but did not taste us at all. The filling was a joke, it wasn't even 1/2 teaspoon. And the fat no longer tastes fresh. At the main court I liked Pad Tei Gung (strip noodles with shrimps and tamarinds, but unfortunately I couldn't convince my husband that he doesn't like it at all. Since we wanted to share, we had to think of something else. We were inconclusive whether we should order Pad Prig Gäng (7,90 € or Gäng Ped (8,80 €). Both dishes are chickens with red course. On my question with the young lady behind the counter, what is the difference, I got a very vague answer that there are almost identical dishes, but on the first mentioned, there is probably more sauce. What makes the price difference, she couldn't tell me. I had a lot of pleasure, but the hunger was not yet silent after the baked dough bags. So we decided to go for the dish with more sauce. As I already knew from the past: First it was noticed that it was very, very little meat. And the chicken cried very strongly. The sauce was okay. Pros to note that everything is freshly cooked. The Pad Tei Gung still irritates me, that seems to be the racer there. During our waiting period, it certainly went 6x over the counter. I probably have to start another attempt. But the fact is that I certainly don't go to Freising to eat there, I must be in the area anyway. By the way, there is a quite large playground with sandbox, where many Bobby Car's etc. are also available. Unfortunately, you only close 3 stars of me."

"A very nice restaurant with a good menu. The menu offered was then served in a significantly changed form. Why? The dishes were lukewarm. We have false drinks. On the bill there was too much a bottle of water that was considered a tip after the complaint. The price/performance ratio in this restaurant is true. unfortunately the fourth time has been disappointed! Quality/taste: 2 stars. can be really much improved! Kindness/service 2 stars. not really, fun at work looks different! Atmosphere: 4 stars. Nice setup. Selection of dishes: 4 stars. Extensive. 3 stars (unhappy)"

"We had a good time at this small restaurant in Freising. This place is really vegetarian-friendly, the person in charge was very helpful in explaining the veg options on the menu and even offered to prepare some dishes without meat. Very warm service and attitude. The soup was very tasty. Main course was just ok as well. Overall good place."

"As a local in Freising this is our go to place for coffe or brunch or late afternoon food or even an evening drink. I can recommend the food and drink here. Specially their cake selection and waffel (if available) were tasty. The staff is friendly. You can choose to sit outside on a sunny day with waterstream flowing alongside. Inside sometimes you are greeted by a very friendly and lovely dog, I guess from owners. All in all a recommended place if you want to go alone or meet friends."

"the gasthof learner in vötting is already nearly 100 years old (since 1919) and a Bavarian restaurant with tradition. since an extensive and tasteful renovation, it is a modern restaurant that revitalises tradition with contemporary influences. here there are the classic pork roast just like a Mediterranean salad with bark fillet strips or a doradenfilet. the prices are fair and reasonable, the card is pleasantly manageable, changing daily and all dishes prepared for it freshly. the garden area is pleasantly quiet, because from the road facing away and beautifully shaded. who wants to eat in freesing well bourgeois Bavarian and who is going to overflow the huber or the browns Überl has become too much tourist attraction, this is best cancelled here."

"Delicious food and a beautiful space. The appetizers alone were fantastic! The servers were very pleasant. The only con was the credit card machine was not functioning and we all had to scramble to find enough cash. These things happen but it would be helpful...to put a note on the door or inform the party prior to dining if the machine was out of order. Overall, I highly recommend. Delicious"

"I'm a Freising local and I just love this wonderful little place. It has a very friendly atmosphere and the great variety of Vietnamese and Japanese food makes you want to order several dishes at once, just so you can try them all. And the...beauty of it: you actually can afford to do so, even as a student. The value for money is amazing. Do go for the tasty Pho soups, accompanied by Japanese Spinach salad with sesame sauce. And one of their yummy Vietnamese coffees to relax afterwards. Or how about a soup-and-sushi menu with warm sake? There is also a nice selection for vegetarians and vegans. Something for everyone!"

"Freising is the last stop on the Munich airport bus about minutes away from the Novotel where we stayed. I never really fancy eating in the airport hotels as I find the atmosphere sometimes a little empty. We normally go to the brewery here...(oldest in the world but none of us fancied walking up the hill as we were pretty tired from our ski holiday and the weather was cold. So we looked around at local restaurants. Surprisingly there weren't that many for a town this size but we came across Bombay. From the outside it is very unassuming and looking on Tripadvisor it appears that not many people go there. Well that needs to change! Our party of two couples and two was warmly welcomed. The starters of meat pakora's, onion bhajis and popadoms were excellent, especially the bhajis which are highly recommended. The mains a of which the kids chose tandoori chicken tikka and my friend and I had the chicken kebab (can't recall exactly what it was called) were again very good. After dinner we were served with some home-made apricot shots, very nice. They even brought some (non-alcoholic) lychee juice so we could all 'Prost' to end our ski holiday in a great way"
