"We found this place by accident as the restaurant we normally eat at was closed.....We always stay in Freising a couple days before we fly home. We have always strayed in the center of town, but for some reason everything was closing so we decided...to keep walking...we almost gave up when we turned the corner and saw the white lights of the beer garden and decided to give it a try....WONDERFUL PLACE. We have celebrated a couple birthday parties here and they always seem to find room for us when we walk in. The draft beer is wonderful and some of the best German food we have eaten. Staff is entertaining, but super busy ."

Stop here. Eat here. Drink here. The food is so amazing, the beer flows and wins id good. I never had duck that was so crispy and delicious. The dinner for option we had was out of this world and easly could feed Will come back to Freising just for this restaurant

I lived in Freising for years (Vimystraße until July and this was my go to place for local fare. Great service, comfort food, great value. If the weather is nice sit outside in the Biergarten. Can't be beat for gemütlichkeit and convivial...ambience. I highly recommend it and hopefully I will be back soon. I hope the Familie Wagner can keep the place going during this pandemic. This place was very different and we truly enjoyed the local food with authentic...German small town atmosphere. There were some interactions with other diners, also enjoyed petting a very cute dog. Highly recommend this place.
