"Second time at Indabar for lunch but first since it expanded and re decorated. Visually it is very nice. However the menu had just changed and I had a hard time finding really Indian dishes and Indian cuisine was the reason we were there. When restaurants go for too much fusion cooking they tend to loose their primary goal! Anyway we had the Baigan Bharta had intended to have it as a starter but the service got all confused ! and it arrived as a side order with our main dishes. I was surprised it was cold but it was very nice. We had the Butter Chicken which was delicious and the chicken briyani which was also very good. A nice side order of raita and an excellent coriander, garlic and chili naan came too. We ordered the cheese naan but neither of us liked it much. All the rest was very good but one had to poke around the menu to find distinctly Indian dishes. A shame I think because the chef is very good. We aren't sure we will go there again because of this... As I said the service was confused and a bit spotty. And the wait for the biryani should have been explained to us though I know perfectly well that a good biryani takes time!! . We could have prioritized the order of the dishes... My friend would have liked an Indian beer. They don't have any. Only some obscure French ones. My wine was fine. We would have liked a prosecco but they didn't have that either! Yet the waiter suggested we have an aperol spritz. Not sure how you make that without prosecco !! All in all we weren't as impressed as we had been last time we were there."

"I don't often write a review for any michelin restaurant but this is something else which I believed they did excellent and exceptional job. From me calling making last munite booking, Alex kindly taken my name for him to call me back if the other booking not going to come for the evening. In within 5 minutes he called back and also he goes beyond by saying if any change please hesitate to give him a ring again. When we get there he strait away approach us by using my name as the booking for the evening. As soon we have sat we served by Clement, his service also excellent and beyond. Regarding the food, they are beautiful from look and taste. Toward the end, the head chef Francesca come to every table and asking how was our experience in he food she has created. This is I thought is excellent. I went to many michelin star restaurant and only if you know personally or in the same industry the head chef will come to your table but Francesca, making that extra miles. We did says we love the sausages and she strait away said, happy to pack some for us to take home. I thought this is excellent . I really never have this ever before...and beside Clement also giving us the extra saffron warm homemade bread when we ask because we also love So we really recommend Fiskebar!!! They are excellent in everything Feeling not just only in michelin star restaurant but feeling home too"

"1. They struggled with finding my reservation name as I have a Korean name, better to book a simpler name if you have a unique name. However, other hotels never struggled so it was a bit weird. 2. The food was artistic, overall, the food was wonderful but one fish menu tasted a bit sour, and raw cooking. We told it honestly as they asked how it was, but it was just asking, not like a real service checkup. 3. Their service was nice and educated like any other hotels, but we had a problem with ‘water’. Since it was tap water, we didn’t expect to pay, but they charged 18chf. As we mentioned to one waiter, another waitress came and this is for filtered water charge, but she will change the check. Then another waitress came and she removed 9chf, but as it is service charge, we need to pay. They didn’t pour more water and what service they did with that tap water As I express unhappiness, a sommelier came and said it’s filtered and he understood we wanted not tap water but filtered one. Because of ‘tap water’, total four staffs came and made all the excuses. The luxury service should be flexible and considerable if there is a problem, NOT making four staffs to say excuses. That’s what I experienced from other hotels and what I got educated from hotel school. If it is bottle of water, I get it why I need to pay, we are in Switzerland and which hotel makes tap water to pay. With the rule of ordering at least one drink per guest, it would be more acceptable if one staff talked in that way, though I never see one hotel tried me to charge because of tap water in Switzerland. Plus, I ordered one champagne glass for the manner"
