"Very comfortable restaurant, and the front-of-house staff very welcoming and charming.The food itself was somewhat disappointing. I tried the vegetarian tasting menu for dinner. The starters were innovative, and done with precision. The main courses were not worthy of the prices. The lentils were very watery; the butter-paneer was overly sweetened (and the paneer had a very industrial texture; didn't feel like made from scratch in the kitchen; not what I would expect from a restaurant and chef of this standing), and overall, the dishes felt a bit under-seasoned and flavorless. The naan and rice accompanying the main-course were very good.The salty lassi was way too dense -- it was difficult to drink. It seemed like the wrong kind of yogurt had been used to make the lassi.Overall, I felt that for the prices, they could have come up with a more ambitious menu. And since it is called "Indian Food Festival", they could have tried to stick to more 'authentic' levels of spicing instead of catering to Swiss palettes -- let people discover what Indian food really is like!"

"Delicious food, excellent service, great ambience. Antoine made sure we had a memorable time. Definitely coming back. Came back a few times. But this time September probably better than all previous times. Need to make a special comment on JONATHAN who was an amazing host, with an infectious smile and demeanour that puts you at ease. We had the best table, but we decided to move to a more cosy spot and he was very helpful. We had a very simple order, no wine. Felt no pressure to consume or spend more money. Food was great albeit a bit low on the salt! Thanks again to Jonathan for making this a memorable time."

"A big fan of white truffles, after reading the reviews we visited with high expectations. What a disappointment For mains we ordered the pasta vongole the Taglioni with fresh white truffle. Both orders were flavourless !!! The Taglioni, which was CHF 66 a plate, could have been a basic pasta in cream if I'd eaten it with my eyes closed. Such a shame. Perhaps poor quality or old truffles? Our food arrived 1 hour after we arrived. Long wait to order too. Unfortunately, no excuses presented by the manager or team for the excessive delays. Not sure if the restaurant was having a bad day, but we won't be returning."

"I have stayed in Marriot hotels all over the world and have to say that the Hotel President Wilson was a complete Marriot disappointment. From the minute we showed up, to the horrific room we had, to the service nothing about this hotel was enjoyable or worth the almost $1,000!!! Our bed was so uncomfortable that we woke up with sore backs which ruined our day in Geneva. The manager did authorized a new room which was better why they even make anyone stay in the room with the bad mattress is beyond me. To make things worse, we requested that our credit card in which was used to hold the room to be changed. I provided the new card to service, but low and behold, they never processed the change and we were charged unnecessary charges! When I wrote to ask for assistance, I was told NO...sorry we can't help you. Do yourself a favor when traveling to Geneva and DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!"

"1. They struggled with finding my reservation name as I have a Korean name, better to book a simpler name if you have a unique name. However, other hotels never struggled so it was a bit weird. 2. The food was artistic, overall, the food was wonderful but one fish menu tasted a bit sour, and raw cooking. We told it honestly as they asked how it was, but it was just asking, not like a real service checkup. 3. Their service was nice and educated like any other hotels, but we had a problem with ‘water’. Since it was tap water, we didn’t expect to pay, but they charged 18chf. As we mentioned to one waiter, another waitress came and this is for filtered water charge, but she will change the check. Then another waitress came and she removed 9chf, but as it is service charge, we need to pay. They didn’t pour more water and what service they did with that tap water As I express unhappiness, a sommelier came and said it’s filtered and he understood we wanted not tap water but filtered one. Because of ‘tap water’, total four staffs came and made all the excuses. The luxury service should be flexible and considerable if there is a problem, NOT making four staffs to say excuses. That’s what I experienced from other hotels and what I got educated from hotel school. If it is bottle of water, I get it why I need to pay, we are in Switzerland and which hotel makes tap water to pay. With the rule of ordering at least one drink per guest, it would be more acceptable if one staff talked in that way, though I never see one hotel tried me to charge because of tap water in Switzerland. Plus, I ordered one champagne glass for the manner"

"My first impression was very negative as i showed up at 11h40 for an early lunch and I have been told that the kitchen and service started only from 12h00. I have checked again on the door and the web site and both said 11h30....Anyway, i came back and I discovered a nice place, very original, the place is loaded with items from different places, non matching furnitures. also, it was a shame as it was a beautiful day, all other restaurants in the area have their terrace opened except La Sixieme Heure: lazyness ?, short of staff that day? Who knows. the food is ok and the good things is that the burger is not served automatically with fries, you need to ask for it as you can ask for an alternative garniture"

"If you are in Geneva you should go to Carouge. And if you are in Carouge you should eat at Cafe des Negociants. We had a delicious meal on the terrasse. We started with the tomato and burrata salad and the tuna carpaccio both...were excellent. Then we had the tuna and the sea bream again delicious. We finished with some Roquefort. All with a very nice Genevan Aligote. Strongly recommended."

"We had a lovely dinner celebrating our marriage anniversary here, We enjoyed the beautiful ambience of the restaurant looking out onto the lake, the warm hospitality and professionalism of the staff, and the delicious cuisine. "This Huotiantian Chinese restaurant is the most authentic and delicious Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten in during my travels in Switzerland and Milan.
