"we went there with a friend of us who knew the place and we were not disappointed. it was wonderful, very friendly staff and the stefano fanari (the owner/kitchen) came to the table to see if everything was in order. my partner has many. food allergies and our friend told stefano about it when she had booked the table. everything was excellent and the stefano even made a spot, some gluten-free brot for my partner, it was incredible. we really had a great time and stefano and the staff were really professional and friendly. it was unforgettable."

"This was my son's real find for a cheap meal (by Geneva's standard) when we visited for the marathon. By concentrating on chicken (two ways) or pork with rice, or handcut chips with a green salad the restuarant is able to do what they advertise. That is in and out in 30 mins. Don't get me wrong this is definitely not a MacDonalds! Plentiful outside seating in a quiet back street and masses more room inside. With cheerful staff it was extremely busy. We dined here twice. Note closed on Sundays (like most of Geneva)"

"I had heard a lot of positive things about this tartare-specialized restaurant. Never having the opportunity to go there, I finally got the chance to pay them a visit last week. I was definitely pleased with the freshness of the menu and the product itself too. Perfect presentation and a quirky "thaï style" beef tartare. I recommend it !Oh yes, and DEFINITELY have a try to their cheesecake :O It's huge and so good!"

"I have stayed in Marriot hotels all over the world and have to say that the Hotel President Wilson was a complete Marriot disappointment. From the minute we showed up, to the horrific room we had, to the service nothing about this hotel was enjoyable or worth the almost $1,000!!! Our bed was so uncomfortable that we woke up with sore backs which ruined our day in Geneva. The manager did authorized a new room which was better why they even make anyone stay in the room with the bad mattress is beyond me. To make things worse, we requested that our credit card in which was used to hold the room to be changed. I provided the new card to service, but low and behold, they never processed the change and we were charged unnecessary charges! When I wrote to ask for assistance, I was told NO...sorry we can't help you. Do yourself a favor when traveling to Geneva and DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!"

"1. They struggled with finding my reservation name as I have a Korean name, better to book a simpler name if you have a unique name. However, other hotels never struggled so it was a bit weird. 2. The food was artistic, overall, the food was wonderful but one fish menu tasted a bit sour, and raw cooking. We told it honestly as they asked how it was, but it was just asking, not like a real service checkup. 3. Their service was nice and educated like any other hotels, but we had a problem with ‘water’. Since it was tap water, we didn’t expect to pay, but they charged 18chf. As we mentioned to one waiter, another waitress came and this is for filtered water charge, but she will change the check. Then another waitress came and she removed 9chf, but as it is service charge, we need to pay. They didn’t pour more water and what service they did with that tap water As I express unhappiness, a sommelier came and said it’s filtered and he understood we wanted not tap water but filtered one. Because of ‘tap water’, total four staffs came and made all the excuses. The luxury service should be flexible and considerable if there is a problem, NOT making four staffs to say excuses. That’s what I experienced from other hotels and what I got educated from hotel school. If it is bottle of water, I get it why I need to pay, we are in Switzerland and which hotel makes tap water to pay. With the rule of ordering at least one drink per guest, it would be more acceptable if one staff talked in that way, though I never see one hotel tried me to charge because of tap water in Switzerland. Plus, I ordered one champagne glass for the manner"

"Very comfortable restaurant, and the front-of-house staff very welcoming and charming.The food itself was somewhat disappointing. I tried the vegetarian tasting menu for dinner. The starters were innovative, and done with precision. The main courses were not worthy of the prices. The lentils were very watery; the butter-paneer was overly sweetened (and the paneer had a very industrial texture; didn't feel like made from scratch in the kitchen; not what I would expect from a restaurant and chef of this standing), and overall, the dishes felt a bit under-seasoned and flavorless. The naan and rice accompanying the main-course were very good.The salty lassi was way too dense -- it was difficult to drink. It seemed like the wrong kind of yogurt had been used to make the lassi.Overall, I felt that for the prices, they could have come up with a more ambitious menu. And since it is called "Indian Food Festival", they could have tried to stick to more 'authentic' levels of spicing instead of catering to Swiss palettes -- let people discover what Indian food really is like!"

"We had our lunch in the restaurant we were served by Antonie. We ordered the Trio, Kebab, Kafta. We have asked to replace one of the maze to garlic sauce however, Antonie advice that we can still have the garlic no need to change any of the maze. I asked for a little olive oil which was served as well. While asking for the bill, I found that he had added one Swiss Franc for the garlic the olive oil. When I asked that he offered it for free he said that even himself is surprised choked about it. Still I have to pay for his miss information. The Chicken Tawook was excellent, the Kebabs are OK, however the Kofta was very disappointing."
