"Very comfortable restaurant, and the front-of-house staff very welcoming and charming.The food itself was somewhat disappointing. I tried the vegetarian tasting menu for dinner. The starters were innovative, and done with precision. The main courses were not worthy of the prices. The lentils were very watery; the butter-paneer was overly sweetened (and the paneer had a very industrial texture; didn't feel like made from scratch in the kitchen; not what I would expect from a restaurant and chef of this standing), and overall, the dishes felt a bit under-seasoned and flavorless. The naan and rice accompanying the main-course were very good.The salty lassi was way too dense -- it was difficult to drink. It seemed like the wrong kind of yogurt had been used to make the lassi.Overall, I felt that for the prices, they could have come up with a more ambitious menu. And since it is called "Indian Food Festival", they could have tried to stick to more 'authentic' levels of spicing instead of catering to Swiss palettes -- let people discover what Indian food really is like!"

we thought we booked the brunch, but there was no brunch on that Sunday. still we had a very nice lunch with excellent service and a eckish with magnificent view of the lake.

Had their Indian degustation menu which tuned out to be nothing more than an average Indian meal. Food was bland. Presentation average. The service was good and so was the table where we sat, right by the windows. Maybe this restaurant offers better traditional / Swiss food but their Indian menu was a huge let down.

Visited this beautiful hotel for afternoon tea with a friend. Beautiful location, staff very welcoming and tables beautifully set up. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. When I rang and booked table I mentioned it was my friends birthday celebration (they had obviously noted) as when we arrived every member of staff wished us happy birthday. Amazing presentation, lovely champagne and great choice of tea and the sandwiches and cakes were very nice. The staff even made it more special by bringing a little cake and candles to the table.
