"As an English national living in Germany, who has also been to India countless times and lived in Singapore I feel qualified to at least comment on Indian food. I have also tried many Indian restaurants in and south of Munich. In my view this restaurant simply has the best Indian cuisine I have tasted in Germany and is comparable with the very best I have tasted in India, Singapore and the UK. I have now sampled this restaurant around 9 times. Many as take away. The chefs specialities are rich and deep in flavour, with individual sauces (not all made from the same base sauce as in some neighbouring Indian restaurants). The food is incredibly tasty - my favourites include (but are not limited to) Kashmiri Gosht; Chilli Chicken and Palak Chana. The service and hosptality I have experienced is warm, generous and sincere. For any Brits (or locals) looking for excellent Indian food I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. My mouth is watering just thinking about it."

"Two stars for the good food, the service was very unfriendly. We were there in the early afternoon (above 2 pm). We were given the card and brought drinks. Then we were told by another waiter that they take a break at 2:30 and waited impatiently for our food order. After the meal (about 2:30 p.m.), the plate was pulled away under the cutlery and the recess was placed on the table.The opening hours are nowhere outside visible, so you have to inform the guest directly upon arrival. I felt very uncomfortable and pushed out."

"Für ein Forsthaus waren wir über das fehlen von ein paar mehr Wildoptionen verwundert. Vor allem wo ja auf der Website ein wunderbares Hirschsteak im Photo gezeigt wird, welches dann aber nicht auf dem Menu war... Da sollte angepasst werden, denn wenn man in ein Forsthaus im Wald geht erwartet man natürlich einige Wildoptionen und nicht nur ein Rehragu. Alles war allerdings sehr schmackhaft, modern und raffiniert und sicher eins der besten Wiener Schnitzel in München."

"Ich war in den vergangenen zwei Jahren öfter hier, sowohl privat als auch geschäftlich. Das Lokal ist bayrisch gemütlich mit viel Holz eingerichtet, das muss man mögen.Das Essen war bisher immer sehr lecker und einwandfrei, der Spargel heute war Tipp, ebenso die extra frisch für uns angerührte Sauce Hollandaise. Der Service schwankt manchmal ein wenig, ich habe da mittlerweile meinen Lieblingskellner.Ja, die Preise sind nicht günstig, aber es ist schließlich Grünwald. Wer billig möchte, sollte also besser von vornherein woanders einkehren."

"... mittelmäßiges Essen, mäßig guter Service, mal besser mal schlechter, preislich insgesamt dafür schon fast überteuert.Aber gut, dafür nette Lage zumindest im Sommer wenn man draußen sitzen kann.Was aber GAR nicht geht und eine absolute Unverschämtheit ist gegenüber Gästen im Lokal ist wenn auf einmal die ganze Servicebande im hinteren Teil des Lokals zu rauchen anfängt und innerhalb von Minuten alles zuqualmt.Wenn man den Gästen vorher noch Bescheid sagt dass ab jetzt die Bude scheinbar zur Raucherkneipe wird und man Zeit bekommt zu zahlen und zu gehen, wärs ja noch (halbwegs!) erträglich, aber ungefragt und ungewarnt ist das eine einzige Unverschämtheit! Das alles natürlich noch vor Geschäftsschluss und als noch Gäste da waren die nicht bezahlt hatten...Mich seht ihr nie mehr wieder!!!!!!"

"eat okay, but the portions are very small for the price. the operation was not very charming. were baked by the day before. about the cautious question of whether the bratereien were fresh, they said we didn't have to eat them. pity would have been a nice place. Conclusion: price-performance ratio is not true, no pleasant atmosphere."

"Meine vielen Reise nach Indien von Nord nach Süd hat es mir ermöglicht viele der typischen Region spezifischen Gerichte kennenzulernen. Aus diesem Grunde besuche ich eigentlich bei vielen Reisen indische Restaurants, bevorzugt in London aber auch in München. Also für meine Begriffe war mein Birthday Dinner einfach perfekt. Ein sehr aufmerksamer Service hatte die unterschiedlichsten Spezialitäten serviert - und das mit einer geschmacklichen Perfektion, du ich bisher hier in München noch nicht gefunden habe - für mich und meine Gäste war das perfekt."

"Every year I spend about a month in Munich, Christmas and New Year included. And I visit Langs about times a week. Everything is beautifully prepared and presented. Cakes, pastries, snacks, beverages etc., are all superb. As well as making ample use of the...cafe and its delightful food, I always take back a little bag of goodies to my hotel to share with friends. The ambience is lovely, the staff are efficient and welcoming, and th quality shibes through in every detail. It is quite a treck but excellent food never ho,d me back from making a journey! However one tram ride takes me right to Grunewald, which is lively to wandrr around. There is a superb mind and supreme craftsmanship behind this business. Congratulations and many thanks"

"Yesterday, my friend and I visited your restaurant. We wanted a nice evening for our Valentine's Day dinner. We experienced homophobia and racism. From the beginning I felt an unpleasant mood in the Resturaunt. The people who were sitting in front of us were perhaps the owner or someone of VIP status because they communicate fairly with the employees as if they worked for them) stared at me, but said nothing. When we finished dinner, they decided to make a comment. My friend and I just lean on us. They said what you both do is not okay that we are gay), further by being born to me Canadian, Bengali) that I should go back to India. It was absolutely rude and painful and made us feel insecure and uncomfortable. They continued to be more inappropriate. In this situation, we would have imagined that the waiters would support our security. But rather, the older man decided to talk to us with grey hairdresser) and tell us that we have to go and stop doing a scene. It was clear that he stood for her, didn't care about us at all. It was clear that they had a higher status that they were homophobic and racist. The food was just decent and the experience was the worst I ever had."
