"I can only agree with all those who rate this foodstuff. from the outside it looks like a snack bar, but to the back there is still a large space with enough space. the food is oriental tasty (I had lentil soup and lamb chop, with salat instead of pommes or rice), and there is baklava with mandel (other nuts do not belong there) and mokka with cardamom. when they go to the second, there are also several menus for 2 people that are nicely assembled. behind the punishment are many men around who are busy preparing the food and the service is a female servant, there is not. the service is very attentive and friendly, and the waiting times are pleasantly short. the full number of stars would have been if both the lens soup and the mokka had been prepared with a little less water. and the mokka is cooked with sugar."

"We arrived here 15 min to 2pm, so when the waitress asked us if we wanted to order breakfast, we felt lucky to be in time. Little did we know that the vegan sandwich AND the homemade bread, which would be included in the other vegan breakfast item (there were just 2 options) were out. I had to order an extra small seed bread which was almost 2 Eur, which is easily four times as expensive as in any wholegrain organic bakeries in Germany. My breakfast thus consisted of 2 types of hummus, 1 small scoop of unseasoned avocado and a few salad leaves, and said small bread, which did not taste special at all. At around 10 Eur this is the bitter taste of gentrificated Cologne-Ehrenfeld. Besides the two vegan breakfast choices there was one vegan risotto as well, but none of the 5, 6 cakes they had were vegan at that day. Wished we knew better, this was probably our last time here. "The prices are ok for today. The service could have been different: we were served by three MAs, although it was not full. The food was a bit dry haxe, the sauce should be different to the pork haxe ... It looked more self-made and tasted like the one from the pack... the first beer tasted funny, so acidic, for which the reason could be the end of the barrel, because it could be seen in the foam. The tables should be cleaned better"

"One of my first restaurant experiences in Cologne was at Hans Im Gluck—and it's still one of the best. The portions are large and very filling. As fas as veggie options, you can't go wrong. There are numerous (I think 7) vegetarian burger options and they are all good. Yes, I've tried them all and love them all! I hear the meat burgers are very good too—but I can't say for personal experience. The salads and superb as well. I actually have a tough time deciding what to order here. The mixed drinks are a specialty and are well made. Of course, you can always get a Kölsche, which goes well with a burger."

"Wir waren zu viert im Meson. Ich muss sagen, das war diesmal nicht viel an Leistung. Viel Hektik, wiel brutal voll, die Tapas wie immer super (aber nicht vom Meson) das Filet trotz Wunsch Medium Rare bzw Medium voll durch gebraten. Auch ein nicht serviertes Tapa wurde, trotz Information an die Bedienung berechnet. Für mich und meine Frau ist das diesmal mit viel Wohlwollen eine durchschnittliche Leistung."

"I'm not from Cologne, the first time I came I was told that there was no takeaway and you had to book, okay. Today I see that it closes at midnight and at eleven I ask if I can eat there. "Made reservations here for dinner on the Thursday before Christmas. And you should... the place was packed. The atmosphere is on the lively side, but with really nice lighting. And our server was also fantastic- kind, gave great recommendations, and provided excellent service. The drinks and food came out with perfect timing I've never seen anywhere else.The food was also good. My husband and I shared a big appetizer platter that came with shrimp, chicken, steak, sweet potato mash, bulgur, sausages, vegetables, and potato skins. It sounds random but was delicious. As mains, we ordered two of their huge baked potato. The one with Brussels sprouts and chestnuts wasn't my favorite... I was expecting small cut up pieces of the Brussels sprouts. But the potato came with huge, whole sprouts- weird and harder to enjoy. The other potato, however, was delicious. It was served with duck and cheese and a tangy sauce- so delicious. We shared both... we recommend to you to only get one potato per table because it's an overwhelming amount of carbs!The wine list was great with some affordable options, as well. We would definitely come back to try the pasta, which is homemade, and the salmon sounded good as well. All in all, having dinner here was a lovely experience. I would definitely come back here."

"After a horrendous drive up from Munich we needed some good old fashioned culinary comfort and boy did we get it. I booked a few hours in advance and my non-existent German wasn’t a problem, the receptionist spoke English well and was happy to take...our booking. Traffic and roadworks meant that we were running late but the restaurant was more than happy to shift our booking 30 minutes and accommodate. When we arrived we were struck by an informal and buzzing environment. The customers seemed relaxed and at ease as the friendly staff buzzed around tending to their needs. My wife ordered a delicious orange and carrot soup for a starter and I had a rather simple bruschetta, rocket and parmesan dish. For main courses my two boys ordered pizza, which although made which gouda rather than mozzarella were delicious; stone-baked in an enormous clay oven and huge! Our 14 year old was delighted and although our youngest struggled to finish his pizza the staff were more than happy to wrap it up for him to take away. My wife enjoyed spaghetti, garlic, chilli with extra shrimps and I was blown away by the tagliatelle with beef steak strips, mushroom and truffle. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. We finished off with tiramisu to share between four and my wife and I were gifted a limoncello and grappa. The cost was less than €90 for the four of us. We felt spoiled and really happy with a terrific meal at a terrific price. I heartily recommend Toscanini. What a warm and friendly restaurant. An utter delight."

"We stayed in Dellbrueck as our main base for exploring Christmas markets in the area. We wanted to walk to dinner one night and came across Brauhaus Dellbrueck. There are daily specials, and that Wednesday, it was Schnitzel Night so it was packed! The friendly...manager spoke English though and immediately found us a table. For Euros, we got a Schnitzel with fries and salad plus a dessert of ice cream with a cherry compote. Definitely go here if you're looking for a casual pub meal"

Ondanks de grote drukte moesten we niet al te lang op onze hoofdschotel wachten. Opnieuw werden onze smaakpapillen rijkelijk bediend. Een “kleine steak” hebben we niet gezien maar wel superlekker vlees met de nodige ingrediënten bereid. Een “grote” aanrader. Hier komen wij zeker terug."

"Recently tried and I was positively surprised by the pizza. Most delivery services don't come to my house because the pizzas are terrible and the dough is processed too quickly and therefore is difficult to lie in. Here I had the impression that the dough is made on the previous day and is a bit lighter and more comfortable. The coating also had a good quality. Especially the Verdura was filled with a lot of fresh barbecue vegetables, which really looked great. In total it is certainly even better, but in comparison absolutely recommended."

Fresh American bread with self-made dip in red. (Like Cockjtaiulsoße and tomatoes, only more delicious!"

"Das Essen war niemals Thai. Keine Ahnung woher die Bewertungen kommen mit „authentischer Thaiküche“ aber es war alles Chinesisch. Was ja nicht schlecht sein muss aber dann sollte man ehrlich sein und es China Imbiss mit Thaistyle nennen. Das Essen war mäßig. Das Phad Thai war das schlechteste was ich je gegessen habe, süßsauer war Ketchup mit Zucker."
