"This sympathetic restaurant was a joy to visit. Köln is known for reasonably priced diners with great quality and this restaurant is a good example of that.I've been a couple of times in Lebanon (the real Beirut) and my Lebanese friends took me to their favorite Lebanese restaurant. Well I can say: this restaurant is at least that quality, the real deal. The menu suggests to take e.g. the Mezas menu of €27,50 per person. We suspected that was way to much for is two so we ordered 5 mezas a la carte. All very delicious and served is a very reasonable time yet very fresh! Humus, Labne, Tabouleh, Fatoush and Falafel.Along with a huge glass of white beer each we were more than filled! The atmosphere was very friendly and a bit less clean/clique as restaurants in Beirut are at times. So we had an great and authentic dinner for less than €20 per person.Next time in Cologne is Beirut time for me!"

Friendly, fresh food. I ordered the Spicy Chicken with Fries and they were excellent. The waiter was quick and efficient and the establishment was clean.

Bring cash, they don't take American cards. But 10000% worth it! We had a shawarma, kefta, babaganoush and hummas. So good. I'm so full. Worth it, wish I...

Being in the restaurants for a quick business dinner, we found a welcome restaurant with friendly service. Food was good and tasty. Just a minor problem, they do no accept credit cards.

The only snag, no credit cards taken. After that they do wonderful mezes which will be the best way to sample the menu as a group. Alternately they also do take-away. You may have to do this, it's popular and relatively small.

Wow, this is great. I've seen many restaurants all over the world, and this one has great food! We had the menu for two, which contains around 16 bowls of hummus, veggies, lamb and falafel (etc.). After this great starter we already had eaten so much..., and then the main menu (roasted lamb, beef, chicken) comes... and desert...when you enter the restaurant, don't turn around because you see a discounter of glass (like at a snack corner), but sit down: the food is amazing and the service is great. All the waiters and cooks together look like a hassle, but the know exactly what they are doing, and it seems like they enjoy it: they run to serve you, and they also laugh.

The Beirut was close by, and after a week of German food, something different appealed. Despite appearances, there’s plenty of room inside, and it does have an authentic feel. So, the Beirut platter (Teller) to start - a meze of 10 different starters - all interesting and tasty. Mains of Schawerma Dschäsch (grilled chicken with sauce and garlic) and Scharhat (lamb in a vegetable sauce) were both nice and filling (served with flatbread), but just a little disappointing. Perhaps it’s regional variation, but the main courses were both bland compared to say, Turkish cuisine. Which is a shame as the meze was very good. With Lebanese beer and wine, the bill came to €53, which we felt was a little p...
