"My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Good Egg. The mezze dishes we ordered were full of flavour, in particular the pumpkin hummus and whipped feta with dill were outstanding. The pita was fluffy and lightly topped with za’atar and olive oil, whilst the pickle plate may not be to everyone’s liking but I couldn’t help but devour the dish! A must order from the small plates section was green falafel and zhoug which was served on a bed of creamy smooth tahini. I was not disappointed with my pomegranate margherita (an off the menu cocktail order), it was vibrant, refreshing and sweet. Whilst I would return for the amazing dishes, the service was appalling at Good Egg and a real let down. We frequently had to grab the attention of our waitress to order, they were inattentive and stand offish when we spoke to them. Sadly this makes coming back to the Good Egg unlikely as the overall service was far from hospitable."

"We used to visit this restaurant every time we were in Bath and always enjoyed the food. However, during our recent visit, we found the food to be mediocre and the prices to be double what we remembered. I ordered a basic gyros for £7.50, but it was lacking in filling and only of decent quality. My husband ordered a tray of mixed meats, pitta, and salad for around £14, but it was not as generous in portion size or quality as it was during our last visit in 2020. This restaurant used to be a favorite stop for us on our way home from holiday, but after this disappointing experience, we will not be returning. We felt like we were overcharged for what we received in terms of quality and quantity."

"the real greek is a chain restaurant serving Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. I like the neighbor, you're next to the river. the advantage of eating in a chain is that the prices are not too high the food they prepare is made for exchange with friends, so they can order a plate with various means of life, beans, hummus, flat brot, oliven. it's a bit like tapas. it comes to about £15 per person, including a bottle of wine between four. they also serve lamb and garnel soups that come in an iron pot that look good in the vicinity there are several pubs that they can go later. I recommend it for groups and families, not so much for couples who want a quiet place."

"the melrose is located at the seafront of brighton, near the old west piers and opposite the british airways i360. it is just a mile of brighton train station to walk. we were the first customers through the door by five o'clock on Tuesday night and had a selection on tables. I decided to start oysters and shlit shoes, cooked kartoffels and mushy baptize for the main course. the oysters came from jersey and were most pleasant, supplemented by rugged. the skate wing was also really nice, although I couldn't finish the large amount of kartoffel! I had a nice bottle of sancerre, which was a great accompaniment to the seafoods. service was friendly and although the cost, including service, was a little expensive at over £115 for two, we really enjoyed eating and ambiente."

"I love Ethiopia/Eritrean food. I proclaim this place to be in london after about 20 different places of this kitchen. even if not all eating is vegan. I would give it 5 stars if I could. vegan food in Ethiopia has been part of culture for thousands of years. part of being pure for religious purposes. what I like about this place is how different the dinning experience is from the norm. they are encouraged to eat with their hands (traditional) and to share from the same plate (later not optional, unless to eat alone). the personal is beautiful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place."

"Very good range, filling a complete vegan menu, not just vegan junk food but more whole food healthy options too. Food is tasty and good portions. Very relaxed and cosy vibe, staff are very friendly. Perfect date night restaurant for a vegan and non vegan couple. Only downside is a good wait is a given in this restaurant."

"So good! I made a reservation here about 3 weeks out and was able to get a table at 5:30pm. We ate outside (it is really cool to watch the kitchen inside but gets smoky from the cooking). We started with a cocktail each and had the pita bread and Kubaneh with 3 different dips. The labneh was our favorite. The hummus and the eggplant were just ok. Also, don't bother with any other bread but the pita bread. It is homemade and fabulous. Be sure to get 2 orders. The Kubaneh looked good but wasn't as flavorful. Now, the main. Get. The. Chicken. That is all. It is amazing. My husband and I split one plate and fought over the amount we each had so we ordered another. It was the best chicken that we have ever had. All and all, a wonderful meal!"

"I really enjoyed the time there until we were asked to move due to 2 members not bothering to show up and the table was given to other guests, which I didn't mind. It was cold near the door and every time it opened you could feel it. Our main waiter was really nice and took the time to provide us with what we needed but the one who moved us was slightly distant and brought me a drink with no ice and was quite slow in coming back to us. Overall I'm glad I went and I will definitely go again."

"Delicious and satisfying! My friends and I tried out this restaurant last night and it was one of the few places still open in the park. The menu has a Greek-inspired theme with plenty of vegan options. We ordered the oregano fries and Seitan wrap. I particularly enjoyed the pita bread, which was thick with a sponge-like texture and delicious with a generous amount of salad. The dipping sauce had a nice sharp flavor that I really enjoyed. They offer other vegan options that I look forward to trying in the future. I would definitely recommend this place."

"Just a little disclaimer: the following review is not an angry customer's rage: the food was genuinely BAD. Sometimes I simply don't understand Zomato ratings or can hardly relate to them: The Life Goddess looks incredibly attractive and cozy, and the rating of 3.9 sounds very encouraging however the food in this supposedly Greek food haven is just beyond terrible. My colleagues and I visited the cafe yesterday afternoon: we came for teas, cakes, and a bit of wifi and were so encouraged that went back for lunch today: well, it would've been much better just to stick to our original menu of coffee and emails, and ignore the food all together. The okra dish I had was simply dull and...read more"

"As you can see by my posts, I enjoy a variety of foods and visiting many different locations in and around London. Bieteddine Express provides probably the best service I’ve experienced. The food is delightful and tasty. The atmosphere of culture can be enjoyed in every part of your visit whether it be to eat in or take out. Now we all like chips, agreed. I will say hand on heart that Bieteddine Express serves the best chips in London. Not taking anything away from the menu that they serve. I’m always looking to order something new on my visits. I’m never disappointed."

"Went in on a quiet (there was only one other table who finished shortly after I arrived) early weekday evening around 5pm, seated fairly quickly, waitress came over to take order and I said I wasn't ready yet, she came over again a few minutes later, told her I still hadn't decided but ordered water to drink and asked her to give me two more minutes to decide. She walked past my table twice more as I tried to get her attention to ask her about the menu but she completely blanked me. 15 minutes later I was still waiting for her to return, got up and looked for her to see her standing by the kitchen, twirling her hair and flirting with the chef. At that point I realised she couldn't be bothered with me, my presence clearly a distraction to her attempts at getting the chef to ask her out. I simply walked out. There's plenty other restaurants nearby, so I won't bother coming back."

"I chose this restaurant for a relaxed Monday dinner with three friends. Three of us ordered the Chicken Couscous, while I opted for the Lamb Shoulder with vermicelli rice. We started with hummus and fluffy pita bread. The portions were generous and the flavors were amazing. The Moroccan cuisine was new to us, but the menu was well explained. We only stopped eating when we remembered we had to walk that night. The only issue was that one of our drink orders was forgotten until halfway through the starter, but it was brought out once they realized the mistake. Overall, we had a great dining experience."

"we're here to brunch, the two of them who work there were friendly and friendly. we had the Akkawi cheese and Za’atar manoushes a few drinks. the food was delicious and fresh. I love the quality of the ingredients. the only comment I would say (as araber,) is that the workers do not give their food-righteousness when they explain it to the costumers (as I overheard them, describe the manoushe). it is honestly better than the description. I would recommend this place to anyone who visits bristol. all good to this independent business"

"we were so excited to go to this little place for brunch? it looked so beautiful on the website. we came to be welcomed by a very gruesome employee. we then sat outside for old before we came to menus. we were told rudely to scan the menus and order them from there. after a long waiting period we decided to go to a place we were at the day before that, very friendly, helpful and our order taken for us. a real disappointment."

"If I could give this restaurant 0 stars, I would. The staff showed no interest in their jobs, with no friendly welcome or customer service. Other customers were served before us, and our main dishes sat on the counter waiting for our starters to be cooked. No one checked in on our meal, a standard practice at Nando's. It appeared that every employee did not want to be there. I will not be returning."

"When Greek grill Ola Kala first opened, I heard a couple people completely lose their **** about how good it was. Seriously, there were mentions of it as practically the best place in the city. I popped in for a quick check, was totally underwhelmed and decided to give it a while to settle in. I revisited on a very blustery Sunday when the place was sparsely populated save for one table of native Greek speakers. I took a seat at one of the other tables in the informal, neatly appointed space."
