"Second real meal in cologne with my colleagues which was also random. Another Italian restaurant that was small but lucky enough we were able to get a spot. Starting off the ambiance was nice and warm with a very traditional Italian style decor. Oddly enough there was only one waiter and he was ripping it back and forth. He looked a little bit stressed but he was handling it quite well. There was a little bit of language barrier but for the most part he was nice and respectful to our ignorant asses. As for the food we ordered a few dishes to share. Appetizers that we picked were: Grilled octopus and salad delicious as the octopus was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Dressing was almost like a Thai sweet chili. Scallops with lentils well cooked scallops and the lentils were a nice addition. Tagliolini with porcini mushrooms pasta was a little bit undercooked but not bad. A tad on the oily side and a bit bland. Main courses Entrecote with salad well cooked meat with an arugula salad. Delicious Beef filet from Swiss cow again well cooked meat with mashed potatoes and chantarelles. Delicious Overall the experience was good and somewhere I would possibly return but not a high priority as it wasn't mind blowing. Service 4/5 ambiance 4/5 taste 4/5 value 4/5"

Vor allem mit dem Knoblauchöl drauf, das auf Wunsch auf die Pizza beträufelt wird.Sympathische und freundliche Mitarbeiter, die den italienischen Flair versprühen, geben Euch das Gefühl direkt in Italien zu sein. Und das ab Übertreten der Türschwelle! Zum Teil hört ihr italienische Musik, dann die Gespräche untereinander auf Italienisch und zuletzt auch die mit den Gästen. "Gleich zu Beginn: Die Pizza ist super lecker und echt riesig. Wir hatten vier unterschiedliche Pizza bestellt (10,50 bis 12,50 EUR) und waren jeder begeistert. Der Teig ist dünn und knusprig, der Belag perfekt in Menge und Geschmack. Obwohl das Restaurant um 17:30 Uhr noch fast leer war (auch im Außenbereich), war der Service ausgesprochen unaufmerksam. Das Glas Wasser, welches einer von uns haben wollte, wurde einem ausgeredet, da angeblich trübe, grau und nicht schmackhaft. Also bestellten wir eine Flasche stilles Wasser, welches trotz Nachfragen nie kam. Der Bitte nach Wasser für unseren kleinen Hund wurde aber entsprochen, es war klar, sauber und frisch. Hier wurde also Umsatz vor Zufriedenheit gesetzt.Nicht ein einziges Mal wurde nachgefragt, ob wir noch etwas zu trinken haben möchten. Auch ob wir mit dem Essen zufrieden waren, interessierte niemanden.Fazit: Die Pizza war super, der Service ausgesprochen schwach."

"her pho is the best! fantastic! I have been a fan of pho. have tasted the original in ha noi, but this is one of the best in Germany! the broth is deep and really tasteful. I have also tried out other gifts from this restaurant and they are also delicious, but their pho is the best! Other recommendations: bo la lot, their dishes (especially the crispy duck) and their original Vietnamese spring rolls (packed in crispy rice paper, comes either as an appetizer or with rice apples and salads so well! the staff is friendly, especially the chef! always very generous! because we were a large group of people and ordered a whole firm, he gave us jasmin tee and some sweets on the house! we will definitely come back. PHO-sure! hahahahaha"

"I ordered our dinner here about Liferando. It was very fast. The packaging was mostly made of cardboard or at least of recyclable material. The small message on the cardboard and overall the beautiful packaging has also made a lot. Tastefully and qualitatively you can't complain about food. It was super tasty and seemed authentic to me as Laiin. Descending the star for the tiny portions. They were difficult to justify for the price. For me, 1, 2 Euros would have made more sense, but even a proper supplement would have made more sense. Because: quality costs, I want to be fed too."

"we are just a short walk from fellini. we like to explore the city that looks for new places to din and one night I have eaten pasta. we have passed so many places that were not yet open for dinner or were not even open. So, we continued to go, stop in business, and hoped to open time for a place to kill. we have turned the corner to see this place that just started for dinner service. first to come and somehow out of place no reservation, casually dressed we were greeted with open poor. our weights, light entertainment, a charming German Italian walk through the large hand written menu and drinks suggested. just sitting and waiting in the anticipation in this restaurant is a tasty bite. the dining room is filled with antiques, paintings, photographs and very elite looking diners pour into the know each and the selection of their favorite wines. frankly, we thought we would penetrate into a very exclusive party of the socialists and they let us just stay! a neger and an aperol splash later we were greeted with a free opener, then the carpacabcio soon came and butter the prestige was a seafood plate with not one, but three objects, including two filets and a large longustin. then came dessert profiterole filled with cream and chocolate and a panna cotta that was beyond. we had wee pair and finished with espresso and limoncello. our server gave us a card that explains that his brother was in the kitchen and offers us to come back. it was just the sweetest destination to a whimsical dinner and we felt so grateful to find such a breathtaking place near our new house. we had a tasting menu with friends in a beautiful restaurant and the cost were with a prix fixe, but without reservation and it was a totally random selection it was perfection. we plan to make this our special occasion and to weep the elder restaurant. if in Cologne/Cologne this is the place, but make a reservation and dress a lil!"

"Das Essen ist, wenn es gut ist, echt gut Beispiel Schnitzel: Wenn es wirklich frisch paniert ist und in der Pfanne gebraten wird ist es super. Der Gurkensalat dazu auch echt klasse, so wie die Fritten. Aber ich habe bereits öfter ein Schnitzel bekommen, welches definitiv NICHT vor Ort paniert wurde. Ich möchte beschwören, dass es sich um ein Fertigschnitzel vom Großhandel gehandelt hat. Der Service immer nett, fix und zuvorkommend. Die Location auch gut. TIPP: Immer zuvor anrufen/ reservieren, da wir schon oft vor der Tür standen und der Laden aufgrund einer geschlossenen Gesellschaft nicht zu besuchen war. Gut wäre hier ein Hinweis auf Social Media und/ oder der Website."

"Lovely place in a lovely setting, but shame about my Gnocchi - having never had the dish before I can only assume this cannot be the definitive version: bland, tasteless lumps of lookalike gigantes in some kind of pesto, a chore to eat mollified only by the very pleasant ice cold Pinot. The place certainly seems to come recommended by the locals, including a variety of flies who kept me company throughout the meal and at one point sampled the Pinot. When next in Cologne I WILL come back, to sample the atmosphere, decor and to give the menu another chance to come good."

"Das restaurant im Ostend gehört zu den ältesten Thailokalen in Frankfurt.Weil wir wieder mal im RamaV keinen Platz bekommen hatten hat es uns hierher verschlagen. Welche Wohltat! Kein Schickmicki, weniger Samt und Seide und dafür viel mehr Platz. Die Tische sind viel entspannter platziert. Großes Lob der Küche, alle Speisen wohlschmeckend frisch und gut gewürzt. Wir hatten Suppe mit Fleisch und Reisnudeln, Knusprige Ente mit Spezialsosse, knackiges Gemüse, Nudeln Shrimps, Gebratenen Reis, und die Desserts ... komoseis und mangosorbet. Wirklich zu empfehlen!"

"Mit Bekannten aus Köln haben wir dieses "Steakhouse" besucht.Laut Karte und Internet werden portugiesische und argentinische Speisen angeboten.Meiner Meinung nach zutreffend, aber nicht so sehr Steakhaus.An warmen Tagen geht ohne Reservierung gar nichts, leider auch nur dann im Restaurant, anstatt draußen auf der Terrasse. Schon um 19 Uhr ist diese zu 100% belegt. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich, zusätzlich gibt es eine variable Tageskarte mit mehr als 20 Gerichten.Wir bestellten Fleischspieß zu 16,50€, Arg. Rumpsteak zu 21,50€, Lammkoteletts zu 24,50€ und Grillteller für 20,50€.Um es gleich zu sagen, alles Fleisch war entsprechend des bestellten Grades gebraten. Die Beilagen waren ausreichend und gut.Nur die Präsentation auf dem Teller könnte verbessert werden.Die Getränke sind normalpreisig (0,2l Kölsch für 1,50€, Cola für 2,10€).Der Service und die Schnelligkeit der Zubereitung war gut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt, besonders für Köln!Insgesamt gab es wenig zu mäkeln, es ist immer einen Besuch (auf der Terrasse) wert."

"very nice restaurant, with friendly servers and all very helpful when asking and adapting to order. they also served the appetizers quite fast, then gave us time to eat and then digest before we had our main courses. we ordered the warm and cold...preparatory dishes, with gurken, tomaten, fishing, a salty olive cake, and the hot had fried zucchinis and auberginen, tomatoes with cheese, garnel and some other things that all tasted well, but if they are ordered, be careful how much main courses can be ended or you can finish! the grilled plate had round french french fries that were really delicious, with a nice boiled meat; the pork spiss was a kabob with 3 pieces of well cooked meat, a small salat on the side, and good roasted carrots; the salmon filet, salmon with red beet risotto “moat” around the fish, looked great and slept super. the salmon was a nice thick filet, tender and fluffy; the white spargel plate had Italian and Spanish cold meat and a hollandaise sauce above the spargel, the long thick pieces and were not overcooked; the lamb shoulder was boiled with a red wine sauce, which was very pleasant together with sparing; and the dish I ordered, the wolfsbarsch, sea bass, was beautifully presented and cooked"

"Als Aperitif nahmen wir ein Fläschchen lecker hopfig-süffiges Bier; es ist nicht zum "durchtrinken" geeignet und steht daher auf der Aperitif-Abteilung der Karte.Als Vorspeise teilten wir uns einen "kleinen" Vorspeisenteller, der uns besondere Geschmackserlebnisse bescherte, unter anderem Rote-Beete-Salat mit Orangensauce und Fenchelsalat mit extra Fenchel gewürzt. Als Hauptgang bestellten wir Wiener Schnitzel mit zweierlei Salaten (hier ist der Sonntag Schnitzeltag). Auf meinem Teller waren zwei hauchdünne Schnitzel und Kartoffel-Gurkensalat, dazu gab es einen gemischten Bauernsalat, alles wohlschmeckend. Die Zitronenspalte zum Beträufeln der Schnitzel befand sich in einem Netz, so dass keine Zitronenkerne auf das Essen fallen konnten -- dies habe ich nach dem Besuch von tausenden Restaurants hier zum ersten Mal erlebt! Die aufmerksame Bedienung empfahl uns zum Schnitzel Grünen Veltliner, der dann auch hervorragend dazu passte.Dessert: Der Marillenpalatschink auf der Karte hatte mich neugierig gemacht, aber wir waren zu satt dafür. Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal!Die Preise (z.B. 19,50 Euro für das Wiener Schnitzel, 4 Euro für 0,15 Liter Wein) finde ich, obwohl etwas gehoben, für die Qualität angemessen."

"Im Süden von Köln, in Rodenkirchen gelegen findet man eine gehäufte Anzahl von Restaurants, das Del Bajazzo ist eines der besseren und das zu einem moderaten Preis. Einen Tisch zu reservieren kann durchaus hilfreich sein obwohl im hinteren Bereich noch überraschend viele Plätze zur Verfügung stehen. Die Karte bietet alles was das Herz begehrt, es könnte jedoch eine größere Auswahl an Weinen (vor allem aus Italien) geben. Man begrüßt uns relativ freundlich, ist jedoch merklich im Stress. Ab dann geht alles recht zügig, die Bestellung wird nach einer angenehmen Wartezeit aufgenommen, die Getränke kommen schnell. Die Wartezeit für das Essen ist durchaus in Ordnung.Wir aßen Pizza, diese sieht ansprechend aus, schmeckt auch lecker. Nicht die beste Pizza meines Lebens aber die beste Pizza, die ich in Rodenkirchen bislang essen konnte. Somit ein deutliches Plus in regionaler Hinsicht, deswegen auch 4 statt 3 Punkte.Man war freundlich dort aber auch gestresst. In den Spitzen wäre eine zusätzliche Person bestimmt hilfreich.Fazit: In Rodenkirchen ist das der Italiener Nummer 1"

"Ahhhh Colina, the most wonderful steak ever. Nothing and absolutely nothing beats its lovely grilled smoky flavours, tenderness and taste. We always visit this steak house while in Cologne. We have eaten steaks in NYC, Mexico and all over Europe. No place is as good...as this one. The chef knows his beef cuts very well, he knows when they’re ready. We’ve never received a steak that was over-or undercooked. It is perfect! Always perfect. Service is super friendly even if very busy and one sees the staff constantly running. They are all lovely.
