"Called in here on the way north for some food. I've usually been disappointed finding somewhere to eat on a Sunday after 5pm but this place was open so we gave it a shot. Food was delicious (it was a Sunday but we had a full menu to choose from in addition to the Sunday Roast). We had Chicken Balmoral.. chicken breast and haggis with Drambuie sauce cooked perfect.. not too rich but plenty of flavour. Would highly recommend!"

"We ordered a take away at 4:30PM for collection at 5:30. I arrived at 5:35 to be advised they were only just starting to cook it then. It should have been ready to collect at this time as requested. The restaurent was chaotic, another customers order had been lost and she was complaining, the owner came out and shouted at the staff that there were orders waiting in the kitchen. I waited 35 minutes and eventually complainted about the delay. I eventually received my order at 18:10 (40 minutes late). We do like the food here and I understand it was busy but IMO this delay is unacceptable. I had two hungry kids at home waiting to eat and it wasn't fair to make them wait this long. I won't risk ordering from here again given I don't want a repeat of this saga."

"We have been using, R36 a lot through lockdown. It’s fantastic, we love it and the kids too. New menus choice, although live earlier you planned is an absolute winner.?? Always really tasty and warm and always ready at time specified. Great combination with sister company le petit cafe too. Long overdue review sorry!"

"We went for a few days rest and that’s what we got first it was great to see the hotel had all local staff fantastic the staff at the pool you will never get any better we were in twice a day they cleaned the changing rooms they did water tests etc well done fantastic pool rooms were extremely clean great shower iron hair dryer tv tea coffee biscuits the house keeping staff were also fantastic as was the staff at the breakfast the food was quantity as was the service my only concern was the rip off bar prices they were ridiculous from someone that knows what they purchased the wine and spirits and beers it was cheaper to eat in the town again the prices were not expensive it’s a 3 min drive and good selection off restaurants in town good old google map as I said it was fantastic to see local staff employed something for everyone well done to all the staff from the start to the end"

"This is a lovely service station a change from the usual chains the food served is all locally sourced and appears to be organic there are several vegan options and there was even some vegan cake well flapjack. is a wide selection of salads to choose from as well as some vegan mushroom bake we only had a coffee but it looks a good place to stop for lunch close to the m74 in Scotland Lanarkshire definitely a pro for stopping instead of the general services."

"Capital House has been around in Lanark for many years,used to be my go to for Chinese,took a long break but am enjoying being back, the Chicken Jong Bau is decent, never have to wait too long and the food is consistently good. Portion size is good, prices keep rising but thats what a cost of living crisis does, havent noticed much if any shrinkflation. Definitely worth a visit."

"We attended the restaurant today for our Xmas lunch 4 adults We had booked this in advance so you knew we had booked the table the meal we received was below standard for any establishment of any sort. Cheap ingredients and lack of knowledge on how too “prepare “ basic ingredients such as roast “tatties” clearly overcooked and dried out As for the chicken not turkey with all the trimming well we got cold over cooked chicken having worked in the catering and hospitality industry for many years i know a standard of “cleanliness is a must” In any establishment and having poor preparation of food is so frowned upon within the trade. I told the waiter about the cold food he took it back into the kitchen and put in straight into the “chef” microwave as you can now imagine the chicken was not only super hot it was like a brick! So after pointing this out too the waiter again . I never eat it at all “waiter comments I guess you didn’t enjoy this” I many add there was no mash tattie either and I. Requested both any now too the sweet “chocolate orange fudge cake” Well orange sponge more like And no ice cream again said to waiter nothing done about this we paid and left but I can assure you I will never be back in this establishment ever again “shocking” Is the only way I can describe how this has went. I wouldn’t recommend this place too the “street rats”that are probably around the back of the shop. Please please avoid!!!! And this experience cost us £102 of our hard earned pounds"

"this was the second visit of the curry club evening. at the first visit it was very good. both in terms of the quality of food and service. thought for a glass pinot grigio was a little steep but! the restaurant was busy. the second visit was another story. pakora hard, reheated. although I ordered chicken tikka masala, the soße was a mixture of corma, chasni and masala. the Nan-Brot was cold chewing! only another table in the restaurant. it will miss for a few weeks."
