Do not by pass this Chinese if visiting Lanark or looking for a great tasting Chinese meal ., service is quick and friendly food is great and prices are reasonable

Decided to give it a try. Sadly disappointed. BBQ ribs just about warm sweet and sour tasted like it was out of a jar. I would go back but only in nothing else was open

I started going there because the food was excellent and portions good. I am afraid the portion’s size have now shrunk notably. Considering this, I am not sure if this is still a viable place for a good takeaway. View menu

Nice food served by pleasant staff, in a clean environment. The lunch special seems to attract a regular client group and is reasonably priced. There is busy on street parking, and there are car parks within walking distance.

It’s a takeaway Chinese restaurant which is really busy and food is ok for that, but sitting in the freezing cold next to a phone operator constantly taking orders, ain’t a good place to sit and eat. You can pay takeaway price and eat at home and enjoy the food better.

Went for a takeaway and purchased a special fried rice, there was certainly nothing special about it. Chicken was dry and looked like it had been scraped off an old chicken carcass left from a previous meal from a couple of days back. The rice was dry and tasteless and I presume it had been reheated several times! View menu

Disgusted, waited 2 1/2 hrs for meal to arrive, no compensation, delivery driver upset at the service, actually said they are taking Pick up takeaways priority and delivery are put to back of the orders, since Michael isn't running that place its gone downhill, also booked rice looked as if it had been prepacked in container hours before as it was just a solid mass that came out, could have made better myself

Went tonight at 640pm with my sister, place empty except 1 large table set for 17 and 2 tables of 2 empty, we were told they couldn’t fit us in as large table due in and chef couldn’t cope with more, we waited outside for over 20 mins and the large table had still not arrived, we could have been eating our main by this time, alaways liked this place and have been going for many many years, will never go back after this

This was by far the best Chineese around for about 15yr ish but the past six years ish it’s became hit or a miss. I think they must have two chefs one good and one not so good. Sometimes it’s great and sometimes it’s inedible. Sometimes the fried rice has spring onions and sometimes did doesn’t. Sometimes the lemon chicken is lovely and sometimes it’s dried up and horrible. I’ve heard a few people that have the two chef theory and I suggest they work which one isn’t up to scratch and get rid of them before they loose business. I am not sure how basic things are not consistent in the same restaurant. Such a shame as you were constantly brilliant! View menu
