"This takeaway doesn't deserve even a star. We waited an hour and a half for the food, and when I phoned them the first time chasing my food they said it was with the driver and on its way. I phoned them 15 minutes later as the food still hadn't arrived and they are only 2 miles down the road. They said they would call me back and when I asked them to confirm my telephone number they hung up. I tried several times later to ring them with no answer. Luckily we ordered through Deliveroo so should get a refund. What makes it worse is we are on holiday in Swansea, and this is our first night here so we have not had a great experience so far."

"This restaurant was a great favourite of mine and when it closed I was really upset. It was closed for at least 5 months and I was worried it would not reopen so you can imagine my relief when it did reopen. It is smaller than the original restaurant but that make is feel warmer and more welcoming. The food is still excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed my return visit. I have now moved away from East Molesey but not too far and will continue to return to Chu Chin Chow."

"This is our go-to Chinese takeout spot and we often order from here for pickup! The food is delicious, well-prepared, and appears to be clean (although sometimes the meat can be a bit fatty). Our usual order consists of salt and pepper chips, crispy shredded beef, chicken fried rice (similar to special fried rice but with smaller pieces of meat), and any type of chow mein (all of them are delicious, it's hard to choose!). The appetizers are also tasty! I'm not sure why they only have 3.9 stars, because we can't find any faults with their food and I am quite particular. Just ask my friend!"

"The service was prompt, though the food arrived slightly cold. However, it tasted great (even my picky cats enjoyed my dish, as well as the beef and mushroom combo starter). The starter plate was a good deal and just the right portion size. If I had to suggest an improvement, it would be to add more vegetables to the baked rice dish, as it felt more like plain cooked rice. The restaurant also offered complimentary spring rolls and fortune cookies, making it a good value overall. I would certainly return for another meal."

"Absolutely atrocious. Usually a regular at this Chinese but tonight it was horrendous. We will definitely won't be ordering from here again. We usually get the munchies box but decided on a change. The portion sizes were disappointing and the quality of most of the food was poor. Over £11 for salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken and this is what we got. Disgraceful."

"Poor service and rude manager. I dined at Taste of China this evening along with two friends. I ordered a glass of white wine which tasted very bad. I had 3 sips and couldn't bare the taste. I therefore opted for water. Upon receiving the bill, I informed the male manager that the wine tasted very bad (although it was actually toxic and tasted worse than bleach I was trying to be polite) and that was the reason I hadn't drunk the wine. He said that there was nothing wrong with the wine and the issue was with my personal taste. He did not offer to remove the cost of the wine from the bill. "I had a pleasant dining experience here. The price was a bit high at $12 per person, but it was a Sunday night. I ordered early rolls with chili and scallions, as well as fried rice. I was not offered water when I sat down, but when I asked for it, I was given a small glass and not offered a refill. The food came out quickly, which made me question its freshness. The restaurant had a strong odor and felt stuffy - they should consider opening a window for fresh air. Despite these issues, the food was delicious and exactly what I wanted. I will likely return for their lunch specials in the future. The servers were kind, but could improve by paying closer attention to their customers."

"This takeaway did used to be pretty good but has got progressively worse over our last three orders. Last nights offering was barely lukewarm on arrival, 45 minutes later than stated (over 2 hour wait). The food was pretty shocking, prawns and meat over cooked, flavourless tandoori, jalfrezi with no flavour and a ridiculous amount of heat, awful nans, stuffed purata with no fillings I could go on. All I can think is this place must have changed hands as although we have had the occasional average meal over many years of custom, nothing has been quite as consistently bad as recent offerings. Sorry to say but we will no longer be ordering from them."

"Very relaxing experience, cute decor and a pleasant atmosphere. One thing you will notice is the hot plate in the centre of the table, which is very handy but don't touch it. :D First thing I noticed on the table were the Chopsticks. They were made from high quality bambo, very unusual design. Food portion is more than enough for an individual. The taste is lovely and rich, with friendly service. So what are you waiting for?
