"I have a friend who's only in town for 3 months, so we eat somewhere new each week. I read the reviews and saw the picture for the pastrami sandwich. What I didn't read was that it's not available in Ludwigsburg yet. Lol. My plan was to NOT have a burger, after reading the past reviews.Atmosphere is nice. Lot of things to choose from. I love the lunch specials. I wanted to try the wings and figured I'd get the lunch special burger, but wanted fries. Special comes with a salad. Ok, whatever, I ordered the regular priced cheeseburger, without onions. My friend ordered 2 racks of ribs, 1 to take home. I also had a beer and a Cosmopolitan. I had to request some alcohol be added to the Cosmo. Lol. Whateva.I had my wings first. Not bad. Really love the Sweet n Smoky bbq sauce. Our waitress had me keep what was left for my burger. Great idea! The rest of our food arrives in a timely matter, but the fries are old. Really? I had already cut my burger in half and REMOVED the onions. We tell the waitress. She takes both of our plates. Brings them back. Fries are still not smoking hot. We just ate them. For whatever reason, the cook put a new bun on my burger. I don't know if it was so I would think that my burger was also remade or what, but my bun was still cut in half! I thought that was rude. I asked the waitress why was bun changed and all she could say was at least it's warm, or something like that. I order 1 rack of ribs to go. My friend asked for ranch dip for her fries and bbq sauce for her to go ribs. She was charged for both of these items. The ranch we understand, but the bbq sauce? When she asked the waitress she said 'It's money'. Well, alright. I didn't want to see my bill, but wondered later if I was charged for the bbq sauce I didn't ask for. Would have liked to try a milkshake with alcohol, but there was only 3 options of alcohol to choose from. None of which sounded great in ice cream.Bathrooms were clean. I didn't understand why the hand dryer blows freezing cold air. Does that save money?TVs were on, but the volume was down. Some background music would have been nice. When we were leaving I know the cook (an older lady) was talking about us, because the waitress looked over at us. She said 'bye' when she saw me looking at her. American style? Well, our waitress did speak English. Lol!"

"Finding authentic Mexican in Germany is... challenging. This place is more texmex than true Mexican but after dining here you really don't care. The location is fantastic; a minute walk away from the train stationparking garage. While we went in the winter, we saw...a large and spacious patio that I'm sure is filled to the brim during those warm summer months. Even on a Monday evening, the place was packed, with a lively young crowd. Couples, a bachelorette party, a business group, friends, this place appeals to a wide swath of youth. Therefore, I highly suggest making a reservation, it fills up fast! While we are both comfortable in German, there were English people here, and the servers seemed to have no trouble switching between the languages. The ambiance is fantastic, with great dim lighting and yes, typical Mexican decor that was a bit tacky, but fun nonetheless. Both drink and food menu were extensive, and in typical German fashion, very generous on the alcohol. We both had fajitas and were really pleased with the assortment of veggies, dips, rice and beans. Despite being a more complex meal, the food was out in record time, piping hot with no corners cut. The cheese was different though, more of a goat cheese than the usual cheddar, but it went along nicely with the flavour of the chicken and vegetables. The one downside was the dips they give you are really small, we both had to ask for extras because there was no way it was enough for a full serving of fajitas. We both managed to scarf back desserts, and they were just as satisfying as the entree. The churros were a bit more bland than I'm used to, but the chocolate and caramel dips made up for the lack of flavour. If you're looking for something to satisfy the Mexican craving, it's a good place to check out. Be aware it is on the more expensive side, and our bill was close to euros when all was said and done for two people. That being said, we're definitely going to be back"

"my evening @ ygrec a Greek island in the middle of ludwigsburg. read them and decide... I had a wonderful evening. the WILLCOMMEN... Enter the restaurant below in the old cellar with beautiful and modern decoration. the first impression is a warm atmosphere, which is also greeting by the staff. Wednesday evening and the restaurant is quite full, but the separation into different areas of the cellar gives them a cozy and quiet atmosphere everywhere. my CURSE...Being in mind with a small surprise from the kitchen and a friendly reception of an authentic Greek host... feels like in Greece...The appetizer is an salat with grilled sardels. I order it without goat cheese - no problem at all. the main dish is a slowly boiled lamb with sesame and supplements. immediately suggested to take it with a slightly different sauce without cheese when I am allergic. thank you :-) and it came perfectly prepared and really aromatic. everything goes under with an excellent red house wine. full-bodied and well served in a right glass and the right temperature. to complete a Greek mokkas. you have to like it, but if you are a fan, you can fall in love with it and - to digest or just enjoy - a grappa or ouzo on the house. The AVAILATION...Atmosphere is great, cozy, warm and friendly. the personal well trained, open eyes and truly authentic :-) just eat super. Greek eating in excellent and all well furnished, portioned and inexpensive. and eating alone does not feel like eating @ ygrec."
