"I have been getting delivery/take away from Masooms Massala for more than 10 years since we move locally. They were my children’s first introduction to Indian food and now this Resturant is the first choice for take away food overall when we are looking to order out. This review will attest to the incredible service not just the incredible food that is provided at Masooms Massala. On last night’s order I neglected to order popadoms a rare oversight as the popadoms are delicious! An error I did not even notice until our order arrived and while unpacking I thought excellent popadoms and onion bhaji (also delicious). By means of this review an incredibly special thank you for the excellent service from the team at Masooms Massala no doubt we will be back regular for your delicious food!"

"Table booked for 5:30. It was originally 6 but due to a private event and having to leave at 8 the start time was pushed to 5:30. This was a Christmas meal and we had all pre ordered our food. The starters came at about 6:15. No major issues (vegan starters had to be requested as never showed up) Mac and cheese bites were great though. The main did not start getting put out until 7 which when you are having three courses and told to leave by 8 this is where things get problematic. The majority of the food was cold Luke warm and then they also ran out of gravy… weird when you have pre ordered all of your food. 7:30 and plates were cleared and desert brought out at about 7:40. This is where it was a diasaster. Some of the desert options were sold out… again when you pre order you kind of don’t expect this. Secondly, the deserts were a mixture of Luke warm and stone cold. The cookie apple pie. Some came out warm, some came out stone cold. The price for this was about £12 which you can’t complain too much but really, having the food you ordered and warm is kind of all you expect at a minimum."

"I ordered food through a food delivery app, but after paying I received a notification saying that deliveries were suspended. I called the restaurant to offer to pick up my order, but the person I spoke to explained that they only had one delivery driver and were only delivering locally (I live in Audley, so I'm not sure how far he considered 'local' to be). I placed my order at 4:30pm so I thought I had given them plenty of time. However, the person on the phone told me they already had 10 orders to deliver and were busy. I told them I was not in a rush and asked if I could come and collect my order, but they refused and rudely stated that they only delivered locally. I suggested meeting the delivery driver somewhere closer to me, but they were still very rude and aggressive. It seemed like they only wanted to select customers themselves and were not willing to compromise, even when given alternative options. They mentioned that the refund would take 3-5 days to process (probably longer due to the bank holiday). My order was close to £40. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from there again."

"Love this coffee shop, it’s a fabulous little gem in Newcastle under Lyme. Not really a soup person but this place has changed my mind- there’s a daily soup on offer (usually combinations like squash/vegetable, sweet potato/carrot, leek/potato) and I have always been mega impressed....The soup is available for take out too and it comes with some toasted ciabatta with the BUTTERYEST butter EVER- so so so good!! I’ve sampled the cookies and muffins and they’re so tasty, fresh and well baked. Everything seems to be home made so bravo for that! I don’t drink coffee but my (hard to please other half said it was absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic prices- I think for a soup and a hot drink at lunch time."

"I reserved 85 Secret Gardens for a special occasion. Two members of our group were vegan, so we were looking for vegan options. I ordered the vegan meatball board, which included meatballs in tomato sauce, pesto, herbed potatoes, olives, and bread. It was amazing and truly exceeded my expectations. For dessert, I had the pear and sticky toffee pudding with vegan ice cream, which was also delicious. The service was excellent and the cocktails were top-notch. The only drawback was that the portions were on the smaller side, but the quality more than made up for it. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant."
