May Bank Indian - Menu

This is one of the best curries I have ever tried. Each curry is made individually, and this is the third time I have ordered from here and it has been amazing every time.

We really enjoyed our takeout. It was very delicious and there was a generous portion. It was a bit pricier than what we usually spend, but it was definitely worth it for a special treat.

Ordered from May Bank Indian last night for the first time since moving to the area. It was the best curry we've ever had! So glad we tried it isnowg! The balti was a little bit spicier than we have had elsewhere but tasted lovely.

I've been having food from here since they opened and tonight took my sister to view the open kitchen and watch the amazing staff multi-task with up to 5 pans at a time and the results are amazing! The food is always of an excellent quality and cooked to my individual request. My sister is really looking forward to the next time, but not just yet as we are so full we can't move! A very big well done to the staff and see you soon.

I have had food from this place twice in two weeks and have been pleased with the quality on both occasions. I asked for vegetable dishes to be made dairy free – without gee and they were happy to do this. I had stopped having Indian takeaways from anywhere because I can’t abide oily food. This food was good and had no floating oil slick when you remove he lid. Earlier I had the veg sagwala which had been made with a good variety of veg including chunky broccoli, potatoes and courgettes. Will use this place again.

We were overcharged at this restaurant, with prices different from those listed on the menu. When we asked for an explanation, we were told that the establishment was located 3.3 miles away and free delivery was only offered within a 3-mile radius. To deliver our order just 300 yards further, they wanted to charge us an additional £3. The staff member we spoke to was rude and showed no concern for our dissatisfaction. This was our first time ordering from this restaurant and we will not be ordering again. We recommend avoiding this place.

Still very good. All I can do is recommend dishes we consistently like. Seekh kebab starter is soft and tasty. Tandori lamb chops are good. Tandori king prawns main course is best in area (we prefer to ask without onions). Fish bhuna Jalfrezi is very good. We used to order murgh Gulshan a lot too. Great for making nan sandwiches or chapati wraps with. It has marinated chicken, onions and peppers chargrilled. We have also ordered the keema balti which is a nice dish most people will like with minced lamb in a medium-mild Balti curry sauce. Bhajis are good too. Poppadoms are always fresh light and crunchy. Staff are polite and friendly and helpful. This is a good take away.

I’ve been singing it’s praises lately and recommending it to everyone. The food is lovely especially the Tandori mains (chicken is moist and flavoursome). The salads are normally spot on. Today the lettuce in all the salad dishes had gone brown. Really upset about it and annoyed. One of them was really brown. And the lamb tikka was a bit chewy. A real shame and the first black mark as this is a lot better than other takeaways and the chaps are a nice bunch. Always courteous and friendly and helpful. Brown lettuce is not on though. The curries are really nice though. I haven’t been back to Karahi master in Shelton for a while for my favourite dish which is unusual. I hope these guys don t tak...

It’s become a weekly treat here. Food is top notch and we have no complaints. It’s extremely busy sometimes and the phone is engaged permanently so you just have to be patient and keep trying. The dishes we like are the seekh kebab starter, onion bhaji starter, Tandori king prawn main is one of the best I’ve had (prawns have been cooked perfectly lately soft and tender and not at all chewy beautiful), Murgh Gulshan off the Tandori section is our favourite superb with one of their chapatis and salad and mint sauce a DIY Indian style wrap.
