"This quaint tavern offers both indoor and outdoor seating, adorned with a simple yet charming decor featuring warm wood tones. The staff was friendly and helpful. We indulged in a delightful array of dishes including Crema del dia (Setas), Croquetas de champiñón, Gnocchi marinera, Panceta Teriyaki, Carrilleras al vermut, and Entrecula con chimichurri. Each plate was generously portioned and bursting with flavor. Personally, the Entrecula con chimichurri stood out the meat was tender, and the sauce provided a refreshing burst of flavor. While the Panceta Teriyaki was well prepared, the excessive Teriyaki sauce ultimately led to flavor fatigue, resulting in an overly salty and repetitive taste experience. With a bill of around 130 EUR for a party of four, including drinks, this meal offered exceptional value. The only downside was the approximately 30 minute wait for the main course. Despite this, when in El Escorial, this tavern is a must visit with friends or family, especially for those seeking a taste of innovative Spanish cuisine."
