"The service, food and atmosphere were all excellent. We had a selection of Sunday roast and other menu options. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their food. There is always a good selection of wine and the bill was not excessive. We were all chatting and didn’t feel pressure to give up our table and leave. There is a good bar area which is great to meet friends or just go for a drink. Would highly recommend it never disappoints."

"Had not visited for years, passing on our way home from Gloucester. Late lunch. Friendly welcome, and choice of what area to sit. Opted for the restaurant. Ordered drinks, which came promptly, and were required, refreshingly so. Rather tired so just chose a mains. The Crab Linguine was superb, good size portion and plenty of crab. He ordered the wild boar pie, the pastry was 'soft ' but lovely flavours, and nice vegetables. The lemon tart was to die for. Superb. The service charge 'again ' which now appears to be the norm. WE did check that the 'staff ' do get this, one has to, some manager/owners do not 'share '. Parking area behind, which is a a bonus else no idea where to park in this busy area. Hopefully will come again."

"Only went for a couple of drinks with a friend, we didn't eat, but think I'd like to try food there. Ambience on Friday early evening was lively, busy but welcoming. We sat outside, plenty of outdoor benches and booths... small car park, but plenty of on street parking available lovely pub, would definitely go again."

"My friends went to the harvester at frimley green on (18/01/2024). I hadn’t been there for many years because of the bad experiences. My friends said that they had changed for the better so I agreed to have a meal with them on 25/01/2024. What a disaster. NEVER AGAIN.. We got there to no welcome. A woman who looked very unhappy showed us to our table. We were told that we couldn’t have any salad until we ordered. We had to order our drinks first. After a while we got our drinks and were allowed to order our meals. We were told a number of meals were not available. We were finally given bowls for the salad. The salad was ok but unfortunately the rolls were stale. When the meals arrived my friend told this lady that her chips were the wrong sort (she had ordered the dirty chips). The woman serving told her that she had got what she ordered. There was a small disagreement and as it didn’t look like the chips were going to be changed my friend decided to keep them. I had a sirloin steak which was burnt and the whole meal was cold. Nobody asked me if my steak was ok so I just ate it. There were seven of us eating and there was a very frosty atmosphere. After our meal we decided to have a pudding. It was at this time that the lady told us that the ice cream machine was not working. We looked at the menu but there was not much we could have because most of the menu was ice cream. We were offered cake and foam cream. We then decided to pay the bill but even this was hard work. We had a 40% discount voucher off the main meal and the lady had trouble working out the bill. There was a discrepancy in the bill. It was at this time that I found out she had given me extra chips. She had asked me when I ordered my meal if I wanted large or small chips. I said large thinking that I wanted fat chips, not fries. I didn’t know that I had ordered extra chips. We paid the bill and could not get out of there fast enough. PLEASE, PLEASE DON’T ANYBODY TALK ME INTO GOING BACK THERE AGAIN."

"Went mid week and was first in at the start it was quiet, but got busy fairly quickly which created a nice atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and considering it was only the 2 girls running the place, they did a fantastic job and we were never waiting too long for anything. Decent menu, had the soup and vegetarian burger which was lovely. My partner had the steak which was good too. Only feedback is on the interior. Feel the place could do with renovation work to either make it into a restaurant or to make it a cozy pub. Also, things like the arrows eg: stuck on the window, looks a bit tacky. Overall would go back again. Just some aesthetics that needs some love to make it a top local pub."

"We decided to give this restaurant a try after frequently walking past and hearing good things about it. Upon entering, we were surprised to find that we had to pay for our meals before seeing what was on offer, which made us rely on trust. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The price was higher than other all-you-can-eat restaurants, at $18.99 for adults and $10.99 for children. The food did not impress any of us, as the curries tasted like they came from a tin and many deep-fried options lacked flavor. The dishes did not seem fresh, and the plates and glasses were not clean. We felt that we were overcharged for the quality of the food and regretted not choosing a different restaurant in the Atrium. In hindsight, we believe that paying half of the cost would have been more reasonable for what we received."

"Family meet up and celebration. We went to Pronto Italiano without a booking. The restaurant was packed (on a Wednesday! however we were found a table for 6 in the mezzanine which was fine. The service from Juan (the Manager and the chef was first class and the food was outstanding. Great atmosphere, quality produce, excellent service at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended."

"I had an urgent need to use the restroom and was quickly accommodated. I ordered a bottle of water as a thank you, and to my surprise, the manager/owner insisted on it being complimentary! I haven't had a chance to try their food, but based on their amazing hospitality, I highly recommend stopping by for a visit. I can only imagine how well they treat their paying customers! Thank you! "If you know your pizza’s and want them authentically Italian, this is the place. No stodgy toppings and thick doughy, chewy bases here only good, honest pizzas made the way only Italians know how. Staff are really friendly and accommodating and whilst it is predominately...a takeaway, they do have 2 or 3 tables that you can sit in and eat if you want to. And they’re licensed to serve alcohol so a cold Peroni while waiting for the pizza to be cooked is a nice touch (when the country isn’t in lockdown Also, try the pasta bolognese with some garlic bread on the side, magnificent! We’ve been through most of the menu now and haven’t had a bad meal from here. Highly recommended."

"This place is an absolute joke. I arrive at the shop at 12.05am on a Friday night as the website said they close at 2am. I turned up, the shutters were down and there were people inside the shop. I called from outside the shop and told them I'm here to order food, they said they closed at 11pm. I said their website said they close at 2am, the worker wasn't offering any explanation and kept saying they were closed. This made me incredibly angry as I drove 15 minute to this spot as it was halal and i heard it was a relatively popular franchise. The whole ordeal was absolutely shambolic, there were no clarity and it was downright frustrating. I'm not from the area but if I come back I will avoid this place at all cost. Pathetic."

"We booked this pub for a family and friends lunch to celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday. There were 25 of us, ranging from toddler to “senior” (and a puppy)! We’d been at this pub for a Christmas party many years ago and more recently for Sunday lunch. We were given the menu in advance and had a choice of 3 starters, main courses and desserts. They provided table service and everything was served in good time. I had Bang bang chicken to start, followed by chicken curry and apple crumble with custard. All of the food was excellent. We had teas and coffees to go with the birthday cake, which we provided. The room we were in is separate from the rest of the pub, which my daughter and granddaughters were able to decorate, and the pub provided background music which was at a suitable volume for conversation, but loud enough to be appreciated! The room was ours for as long as we wanted, it was after 7pm when the last of us left. I would certainly recommend this pub for this sort of party, Lisa and her staff are very helpful, particularly with the organisation, nothing appeared too much trouble."

"on recommendation of a friend stopped. had a beer on toast and an Americano coffee. the service was good, efficient and eating was nice and affordable. the only light negatiw for me was, although the place is beautifully decorated and clean, it is very sterile and it lacks ambiente. it could probably play with some background music (low level,) or even only the local radio station as well as if there were 4 people in there, we were all at separate tables and without chat, the quiet was quite unpleasant. will I have gone back? Yes, I would try it again."

"We ordered 3 pizzas and some chicken wings with a delivery time of 25-40 minutes. However, the food arrived over an hour later, as the driver claimed to have gotten lost. The pizzas were not as hot or fresh as we had hoped, with cold and soggy cheese. The service was disappointing for a Monday evening when the restaurant was not as busy. Whether it was Herbies or Just Eat at fault, improvements are needed to avoid losing customers in the future."

"Friendly welcome particularly for dogs in tow. Great range of Badger Beers and good selection of Lagers on tap incl 1664 and Bierre Moretti. The pizzas here are a must try especially the Truffle one which I couldn't fault. Chicken burgers fully stacked with chicken fillet reported to be a bit dry by my daughter but delicious anyway. Whitebait was excellent too. The pub itself is situated opposite Brentmoor Common excellent for dog walking. Decor clean and simple wood floors nice feel to it. The garden is spacious with plenty of shaded and sunny seating. Dogs on leads very welcome. Will definitely revisit for pizza and pint."

"I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. When I tried to order a medium meal, I was told that only large meals were available. The salmon teriyaki that I ordered had mostly salmon skin and a small portion of rice. The sauce tasted more like sweet and sour rather than teriyaki. I hoped that the quality would have improved since my last visit, but I was met with the same disappointment. I would recommend trying the sushi instead."

"Had to contact hotel about 5 times to make a reservation for birthday afternoon tea party! Every time someone promised to ring back with arranged time and more details. Nobody did. I had to chase them again and again.On the day we stepped into smelly old and dirty room, where we had to wait for about 40 minutes and then were treated with “not even average” afternoon tea including very dry (with the crust!!! sandwiches and supermarket scones.Tasted old, dry and absolutely disgusting. We were not able to eat it but the worst part – no one mentioned a word about the birthday. BUT it was arranged and promised during the reservation. As food was still there we asked the boxes to take it home and were told there are none. We managed to get a few bits of the foil to wrap it up!!! I still cannot believe it! Well, it went to the bin anyway as no one wanted to eat this trash food.In addition to that the bill was calculated wrong and we had to wait for adjustments for about 20 minutes. On the way back I explained the situation at the reception and nobody cared at all. It was a lie (all waiters were gone, it was nobody around . I was polite and asked for explanations. Someone run to me and told to write email to them with all the details so they could see. I did! Nobody answered .I did write additional to the manager of the hotel and HE DID NOT ANSWER.Shame on you for ruining birthday party, for all your lies, for not even saying sorry for our party, for ignoring my emails!"
