"Sehr gutes Essen. Deutsche Gerichte spannend u.a.asiatisch interpretiert. Wir hatten jeder Vorspeise und Hauptgang, eine Suppe als Zwischengang und ein Dessert. Eine gute Weinkarte, auch gute offene Weine mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Restaurant wäre eine super Empfehlung, wäre der Service nicht so schlecht gewesen - aufgesetzt, blasiert und mit merklich unterschiedlicher Behandlung der Gäste in einem nur halbvollen Restaurant. Da im Wintergarten nur insgesamt drei Tische belegt waren hörte man jedes Wort des Service an den Nebentischen. Allen anderen Gästen außer uns wurde bspw. der hochgelobte selbstgemachte Eierlikör nach dem Essen angeboten ("wir möchten ja das sie wiederkommen") und auch Desserts, die weder auf Karte noch Tageskarte erwähnt wurden ("und da haben wir auch noch ein ganz tolles Blaubeersorbet"). Und für einen Teil der Gäste, die alle zum ersten Mal da waren, gab's dann noch den Schnaps auf's Haus, den die Herren vom Service auch gern am Tisch mitgetrunken haben. Man merkt, dass die Servicetruppe früher im Rauchfang war... Schade für die sehr gute Küche, denn so wird man sich im kompetitiven Umfeld der Insel nicht halten können."

"It's a nice place the sunset is the best in Westerland; but the service is horrible. We had made a reservation for 20:00 and were told they couldn't find it when we arrived; we should wait two minutes. Then we were sent to the worst table in the restaurant which obviously was the only empty table on the patio all the way in the back where a speaker was blasting in your ears. We said sorry no thanks. They gave us then 5mins later another table which was very nice. We then ordered 2 Weizen beer waited 20mins for a beer then the waiter told us sorry the Zapfhahn is down so we need to orders something else. We then opted for a normal beer and a Schorle; 15 mins past and my Schorle came but no beer for my partner. We waited another 20-30 mins before he got his beer after asking 3 waiters/waitresses about it. We then decided not take a starter because it would probably take too long. Our meal came 1 hours after ordering.The couple next to us were very upset even waiting much longer then us for their food and she went to the back to find out what was taking so long; she finally cancelled her order due to it not showing up and service kept on saying it's coming and nothing came after almost 1.5hours of arriving there!! It's just unacceptable. I rather you tell me sorry we are full and we go else where rather then waste our time and offer customers poor services."

"in the frame of our extended weekend on sylt, we stayed at the hotel jörg müller and ate there on Saturdays to evening.The reception was friendly and we were brought to our table in the already well-stocked restaurant. if you want to eat here on a specific day, a reservation is recommended. we had among others the congratulated soul fillets and the holsteiner weiderind. the courts tasted us excellent. the sancerre also.In the dessert there were the baked cirches (a dream!) and chocolate mousse. both desserts came in quite neat portions, so that we let the evening sound rich and satisfied with grappa and espresso. We'll be happy to come back."

"unfortunately the service was really not good. we were sitting half an hour before empty glasses, it was looked over us. we would have liked to have taken another dessert or a digestiv, but since nobody took care of it, we left it. there were not many guests in the bistro, the two services have almost stopped in the kitchen or stay in the bistro with each other. Unfortunately, one had the impression that one was disturbing and that in such a first class hotel, is already very bitter."

"we tried this evening the first time the butcherei auf keitum, I have been in a mood since rd. 35 years on the island and was never there. the menu promised homemade burgers and accordingly we ordered two.The result unfortunately did not look after it. the first two burgers were still raw inside, which is why we read them. kindly and without expecting this we received two new burgers. However, the very firm consistency did not read on homemade, but rather close deep frozen, which is why I also think only about 2/3 ass. on demand of the service I then expressed my critique friendly but with full conviction that these burgers are not fresh but frozen. as a metzgersohn, I know too well in this metier and have already seen many good and bad games. the service wanted to address this in the kitchen. We were offered as compensation an espresso or digestif, but the question "homemade or frozen" was kept dead, for us commented enough that we were right about our judgment. so if the burgers are not served, what is on the menu, how is it about us beef or australian beef?. at least we are seriously disappointed by the butchery and will no longer go."

"we were there for a nice dinner and we had a wonderful evening with a series of great tapas! the restaurant looks like a small bodega, the service was very attentive, fast and nice! we had a series of different tapas like calamaris, olive, cheese, chickensticks etc. all were very delicious. I'll be back at the next Sylt visit!"

"after having a table order, a nice evening with delicious food experienced.A great service in which the chef brings in.Recommendation of the day with homemade white bread with economical advance. then there was a spit with pork fillet with swung kartoffels and salat. also scampi, octopus and calamari with pell potatoes and tasty mixed vegetables a delicious dip. a beautiful evening that was all around good. we like to come back."

"we are actually huge fans from american bistro. since last week, however, we have been disappointed! normally, the bistro is designed to come on a Thursday of course most because of the spare rips satt. So we have clocked our cinema visit for later time (thought we) good. there was a service power for three six groups and the rest of the guests. the one 6 had to wait 20 minutes for the drinks. we waited half an hour for the ripening and then ordered one beforehand during eating. Unfortunately, these came only 40 minutes later so that we have reordered them. we asked the service during the pay if this is not a bit much for one alone: her snippy answer was: you have been sweet since then, comes to the spare rips satt and have only 90 minutes time! sorry, I didn't want to eat until vomiting, but just get fed up. we have never gone hungry from the bistro!"

"We ordered several dishes. I was very happy with my truffle Linguini, just delicious! Also the dessert, the Tiramisu, highly recommended. The other dish, the duck breast, was also good, but a little Twitter. Nevertheless we definitely come back and can recommend the coast!!"

"After a pleasant visit several years ago, went back with a party of 10. Boy, what a disappointment. Nice ambiance, with kids welcome.But: Service was way below our expectations ("if you don't need the chair, you can bring it outside"), and that was only the start.Despite prices roughly in line with what one expect on this island, the food appeared to us as cheap and prepared in a rush. Pork tenderloin was raw inside, 'sauce' seemed to be melted budget gorgonzola without any other ingredients, and so on. Nice selection of wines, although not the cheapest (Ca' dei frati Lugana 2014 was >40€). We will not be back."

"this conclusion refers to a total of 3 visits, so the chance for improvement was quite there. Before I must say that the quality of the food is very good, the creativity in the preparation is exceptional and the concept I find appealing. Unfortunately, this is not reflected in the service, long waiting times until someone feels called to take care of the gast at all, different statements of the service forces and a certain arrogance that is inappropriate in this concept. a last word at the price-performance ratio, even for sylter conditions, I find it a little exaggerated, even if one incorporates the high quality of the products. unfortunately, despite the positive aspekte, I didn't feel comfortable."

"one of the many “Gosch”s can be found on sylt on the beach of westerland, directly on the cure promenade. cozy in the inner, beautiful to sit, especially in good weather also in the outside areas. North Sea crabs, lachs, matjes and more in different variations, with pellkartoffeln, with salat or as a flaky cake, and of course the fish rolls. simple and tasty, just delicious. adds a good bar with delicious weeping and even a sylter whisky, which is very rich despite a mature only 4 years old. who finds a place here can let the soul baumeln at speis and drank and above all let the view over the sea strip."

"The establishment of the place, at least in the area where we sat, rather casual, but harmonious, we felt very comfortable between the Pop Art of Devin Miles. It's rather unobstructed, which is very pleasant. Particular emphasis should be placed on how the guests' wishes are addressed here. My wife was very happy to find a special menu variant written for her and presented to her on the table. Since they eat no fish, crustaceans, etc., we had already registered with the reservation. We have never experienced that so much effort has been made. Here, components or gears were not eagerly left out, but the dishes were adapted for them and the menu sequence was adjusted so that we could both enjoy the menu in eight courses together. Thank you for that! The service was very friendly and, as already said, very dedicated to our well-being, in a positive sense. The prices are, like almost everywhere on Sylt, raised, but we found it worth every cent. The 18 Gault Millau points are well deserved. In our opinion, the 2nd Michelin star would also be appropriate. Positively, we found the prices for beverages and wine tasting, which were almost favorable for the star segment."

"During the day trip to Sylt we were back in Westerland this year and at noon the question was asked what we should eat. We were seven people and in some places it can be narrow. First we wanted to eat Blum fish, but it was full and we did not find any place. So we stood there and there were some for the Munich Hahn, who is not yet at my place after the visits. Yeah, but everyone deserves a second chance. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were looking for a big table outside any welcome. With Ach and Krach we had the whole room, the largest table was unfortunately already occupied. Then a waiter came by with a short Hello and the hint that he would come to us right away. It took a few minutes, then he took the drinks without participation and gave us the menus. For the children there was a separate children's menu for coloring, the pens came immediately – finally! Then the drinks soon came, but he didn't take our food and he comforted us again, he'll be there! One has to say that the place was half filled and 3 waiters are sleeping, so it can not have been stressful – actually. After about 10 minutes the Lord came back to us, we wanted to go, especially he took orders from people from other tables that came to us. Our mood was at least what we gave him to understand. We've been there before, so we ordered it. For me there was a 08/15 chipped carving with pommes. Well, what should I say it wasn't grottenschlecht, but sweet and kind of sad what was on the plate. The carving itself was as good as possible, in one place the meat was quite fibrous. The Pommes were average. It's a pity that it wasn't even asked if you want ketchup or a sauce, so I took the carving with pommes dry to me. I also know you get an appetizer salad in a good restaurant – now somewhere else. As a rule, the share was only small and not appropriate at the price. Half of my wife's chicken was much more interesting with 2 supplements. If you order this large salad extra, which is explained as “small, colorful salad”, you can leave incredible 4.90 euros. When I saw what was served there, I really had to hold back that I don't get a cramp with occasional Latin stacks! That was the joke! After all, half of the chicken was obviously good. For the children there were chicken fillet with late zle and sauce. The meat was good, the rest was uniform. To the rest of the place I had already said everything in the other reviews. For me, it is only obvious that this shed will no longer see me – especially through the very miserable service and the average food."

"the choice was great and no Italian court missed. So there was all that should be done with an Italian. I had a tomato cream soup and a pizza margherita. both was very tasty and I was satisfied. the others had fish, lasagne, bruschetta and caprese. everything has been super tasted. the food also came fast and the service was very friendly and helpful. he also worked quickly and was attentive. the ambiente was also beautiful. in the front room at the theke it was a bit dark but we sat in a large next room. there were large windows and because it was warm the door was opened. the ambiente so very pleasant. the price was also very good.
