"The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, with soft yellow lighting that was perfect for my eye condition. This was one of the reasons we chose to dine here. Although we had to wait a little to be seated, our drinks arrived promptly and our food shortly after. The menu offered plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. I did find the price of the drinks (soft drinks) to be a bit high for their size, so we also ordered a pitcher of tap water for the table. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, as we saw two wheelchair users dining there when we arrived."

"My children and I had dinner here on Monday night. They were thrilled with the amazing selection of food on the menu, and my daughter particularly loved the variety of vegetarian options. I ordered the classic mixed grill, and everything was cooked to perfection—I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the best meal we've had in a long time. Kudos to the chefs!"

"We ate dinner here on Friday evening. The restaurant opens at 7pm. On check in at the hotel we were not asked if we'd like a table in the restaurant.The staff appeared to have good intentions but lacked training. For example they couldn't answer simple questions (e.g. could something from the lounge menu be served in the restaurant or what ale was available). Between us we had a few main courses the belly pork was fatty and not crispy, so very disappointing. Fish pie was ok, but nothing special and the beef was ok. It seemed quite expensive for what it was. Poor choice of non alcoholic beverages. Quite amusing to watch some of the scenarios...the staff bring in a party of 6 to a table with 4 chairs then rushing to find chairs! So much potential that could be exploited with some more attention to the customer experience. Please help your staff to deliver that potential."

"McDonald's restaurants offer good regular menu items that are quite tasty, but the fries are often served cold and limp without any crispiness. I understand that they may not always be served immediately, causing them to lose their heat, but a quick re-dip in hot oil every 10 minutes would help bring back their freshness. My main issue with many McDonald's restaurants is their traffic management. Due to their popularity, especially on weekends, long lines of cars can often block nearby main roads or access to other shops, particularly in retail parks. I believe McDonald's should have staff monitor the traffic and prevent it from blocking entrances and roads to other areas."

"Excellent place to stay. The breakfast staff are out of this world. Couldn't do enough for you. We would get a box to take away some things from the continental breakfast for later on our travels. The Smashed avocado on toast with bacon was the best in my opinion. So good i forgot to take pictures which i usually do. The rooms were very comfy and clean, and had a large T.V. inside with access to the side hdmi if you want to plug in your own device. They provided everything for you with tea, coffee, milk and sugar. But they didn't have shampoo just a 2 in 1 which most women won't use. All round great place to stay."

"my partner and I celebrated 13 years together. I thought we had a tasty, nice day dinner then cinema. we have never been to this restaurant. I have to say we were so impressed. we had a beautiful young gent that felt very welcome. his memory of our order was very impressive. eating was simply amazing that my partner ordered a small fresh pizza and I had a nice fresh smile. Oh, mine, when it arrived, there was enough for more of us so much money. we will definitely return. great service, good food, great value. xx"

"I had a fantastic evening at Cleos tonight, enjoying live music from the Ronaldos. It's a wonderful venue with great hosts who do an excellent job of maintaining its lively atmosphere and creating job opportunities in our community. I just hope that noise complaints don't affect the live music events held twice a month, as that would be quite unreasonable."

"Booked a table at TGI’s for New Years Eve, it was a total disaster. We went in at our booked time and we were very surprised to see it very quiet. We were ignored at the front of the restaurant, took ages to get seated. We ordered drinks and food. Waiter came back and said that 2 of the 3 drinks weren’t available also 2 of the meals. We all changed our orders but when my husbands wine was served it was disgusting, cost £10 but was undrinkable. By this point we had enough and decided to leave. I went to see the manager but she wasn’t that bothered. Lovely waiter followed us out and was very apologetic but it was too late. Thank you TGI’s for ruining our New Years Eve."

"Its been a couple of months since I last visited this place so I thought, in fairness, I would give it another chance as the last time the service was terrible. I went to the drive thru at 1.00pm on Sunday afternoon to treat my family to a lunch time meal, I was told at the kiosk that there would be at least a 25-30 minute wait for CHICKEN, yes this is Kentucky Fried Chicken, you know the one, the fast food outlet, I asked what was the reason, Brexit, Covid, the war in the Ukrain, what and was told by the very embarrassed young girl, I'm not sure, so if you want to witness incompetence, first hand, go there, otherwise keep well clear, I cannot believe this franchise is still operating, looking at other reviews, KFC should be disgusted with the way it is run"

"I took my children to this restaurant and was truly impressed. The place was spotless and Izzy, our server, was fantastic. She was very attentive to my son's multiple allergies. We ordered a ham sandwich, a sausage sandwich, and a ham and cheese sandwich with a cup of tea. The food was cooked perfectly and the total bill was less than ten pounds. I highly recommend this place and have included some photos. Five star rating."

"I highly recommend this pub, as they serve delicious food. The owner, along with her husband, are very friendly. The Sunday dinners are especially delicious. I would rate this place a perfect 10 out of 10. I have also made many new friends here and look forward to spending more time at this pub. "However, the disappointment came with the yuk sung. I've had this dish from many different places across the UK for years, and unfortunately, this is one of the few takeaways that can't get it right. When I opened the tray, the overpowering smell of onion hit me, and the taste was overwhelmingly oniony as well. Strangely, it also had a sweet flavor—I've never encountered a sugary yuk sung before, and it definitely should not be so onion-heavy. I ended up throwing it out, which was a waste of good money. It looks like it will be a few more years before I make my way back here, and when I do, I will definitely be skipping the yuk sung."
