"So disappointed ???? every meal we have had always here enjoyed. This evening completely different. Around the salad cart was disgusting and the floor was like walking on ice...it was as if the floor had been cleaned with mayonnaise. The tomato pasta has a different sauce, not tasty. Main meal- new style chips horrible, looked raw. Chicken with BBQ sauce.... essentially squeezed sauce over, cold not good.... husbands scampi weird batter. Sons burger was tiny and the usually fantastic chicken, bacon waffle dish.... swimming in maple syrup, waffle hard, bacon unbelievably salty......it was awful. We went as a special treat as husband flying to US tomorrow and it really ruined our evening. People behind us complained about onion rings and heard new suppliers. Get back to what u do well. Staff good but food massive downfall"

"The lunch was to celebrate my son's birthday, we had a really nice experience. Where I understand people may book a table and not turn up I am not one of these people, I understand you are a business and if I couldn't make it I would have cancelled. In 3 days I received 5 emails and 3 text messages reminding me which irritated me. Maybe do what some restaurants are doing now take card details on booking and if they don't turn up charge £5 per person for none attendance. Just an idea because even with all these reminders people may simply ignore them. Haven't been to harvester in a while it was my son's choice, the staff were friendly and food good I had the new dish salmon and was very tasty. I may come back soon Thank you"

"I give this restaurant five stars for serving a surprisingly high-quality meal. I thoroughly enjoyed the perfectly cooked lamb rump, which was enhanced by unique additions such as feta, partially roasted cherry tomatoes, asparagus, and baby fennel. My wife opted for the meat pie, chips, gravy, and tenderstem broccoli, and she was pleased with the full crust of shortcrust pastry filled with slow-cooked beef shin. The food was excellent, and I learned that a new team of chefs has been hired, which seems to have been a wise decision. While the hotel room was not anything special and there was noise until the early hours of the morning, we were warned about this during the booking process, so we can't really complain."

"I can't fault the staff for their efforts, and to be fair, the steak is not terrible. However, I would not recommend this restaurant overall. The add ons were poor quality and overpriced. The chips were very disappointing, and the vegetables seemed like they came from a can. The rack of ribs was especially disappointing - it seemed like they were microwaved from a plastic bag and had a high markup in price. If you're looking for friendly staff and mediocre, overpriced food, then this place is for you. Otherwise, I would suggest trying elsewhere, as I will not be returning."

"the restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere – clean and well presented. the personal was attentive and knowledgeable. one of the party was gf and the waiting staff went to great lengths to ensure that we knew what dishes to avoid. the fish was a bit wet and watery. steaks were amazing and it was worth trying. the general selection on the menu had something for all we would certainly make a return."

"Unfortunately, the food took what seemed to come forever. Table was booked for 8:15 o'clock...meal came 9:25 o'clock! And no, we didn't have any appetizers...just ordered main meals. I wanted to complain when the waitress said that the food won't be much longer - I told her I'm going to complain as waiting was ridiculous! We were not told when we were sitting there was a wait for food... but maybe our food order was messed up, I don't know. We were offered a round of drinks later, but we did not want them to have drinks, so we are offered desserts that have accepted 3 of us, even if we were full, we ordered them from the principle. We have eaten here many times before the food is always excellent, it was also tonight... it's just as shame that we had to wait so long."

"The booking at the Eden Restaurant was to celebrate my wife's birthday that day. After being seated we were completely ignored by waiting staff which resulted in me having to go to the bar not once but twice to ask for a drinks order to be taken. It was waiting service only. Later, when a waiter came to take our drinks and food order we questioned the fact that the menu differed from that which was shown on the internet in that a choice of sea bass or salmon was available on the that menu but not on the menu before us. The waiter said that there was no fish available that evening. I remonstrated with him because we specifically booked the restaurant on this occasion because of its fish options as neither one of us eat meat products. The waiter said he would go to the kitchen to make sure his information was correct. As it was an open kitchen we could see that the waiter was in deep conversation for some time with the chefs. He returned and said they could find one piece of salmon and one piece of halibut. As there were three of us we had no option but to abandon our night out at the Eden and leave the restaurant without having a meal. The waiter apologised profusely saying he was having all sorts of problems with the way the restaurant is being run not only that evening but previously. To make matters worse, it was impossible to talk to anyone by telephone at the restaurant that day or previously, to either make a booking or receive basic information, as several attempted phone calls always ended up the same way, in an answering machine advising you to book a table on line. There was no excuse whatsoever for the mismanagement and the fact that no-one in a senior position came to speak to us says it all. In my opinion your company should review its association with the Eden Restaurant"
