"Visited here on a Saturday night, positives first plenty of staff and warm welcome. Set menu was £30pp which is rather expensive for what you get. Ordered the king prawn starter, duck for main and choc orange fudge cake for dessert. Unfortunately the prawns hadn't been cleaned and its fine if it's the old one thats been missed by mistake, but not all four. It seemed that this dish wasn't prepared properly. I informed the lovely waitress and she was v apologetic. The main duck with one piece of pak choi came with the standard small side order of vegetables come on chef, cauliflower cheese and New potatoes served with a Chinese dish? The dessert was nice. Some tables were very squashed together and I was very surprised and I think the other customers too, to be told wine wasn't served by the glass. Had to wave at the waiting staff twice to ask for drinks too. Over the years I've dined here a few times but I think it's stuck in a time warp and not in a good way. So unfortunately I won't be returning due to the lack of attention to detail."

"Popped in for a meal while in Sheffield for the snooker with friends, and so glad we did. The pub is amazing, very family friendly and the staff could not be nicer if the tried.... Nothing was too much trouble for them. The seafood platter I had was stunning, and cooked by Jamie Oliver (no, not that one, although I recon it would be hard to tell the difference . We will be coming back next year for the snooker and this is definitely on our list of places to go back to that's fir sure. If you are looking for a great pub with good beers, amazing food and a brilliant atmosphere, try here... You won't be disappointed"

The staff here are friendly, professional, and welcoming, maintaining excellent standards and creating a true asset to Meadowhall. "We stopped by on our way back from our trip for some coffee to fuel the rest of our journey. We made a quick detour off the highway and found the staff to be very welcoming. The coffee was exceptional, and they also had a variety of delicious baked goods including vegan options and oat milk. The prices were reasonable, and the service was fast. Highly recommend!"
