"Reception was a bit difficult to find myself, but staff has been extremely helpful during my stay. Check-in was smooth, and room was a very nicely sized area, which also appeared very clean. Received a message from the hotel that the music in the bar could lead to noise until 2am, however this was very well covered. Couldn't hear the music from the room. Breakfast was good as well, freshly prepared for me on the spot. Would definitely recommend to others when staying in or near March. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"The atmosphere here is really pleasant, and the staff are wonderful. The food was just average, so it felt a bit overpriced since it lacked flavor. However, the cocktails were delightful, and the service was excellent. My child didn't eat very much, but the staff kindly provided a container for us to take the leftovers home, which was a nice touch. Despite it being quite busy during our visit, we experienced no delays in service. I would definitely consider coming back."

"We visited this restaurant for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. The lady who welcomed us was extremely friendly (I wish I had remembered her name). We have a couple of allergies, and she was very helpful in accommodating them. My husband and children enjoyed the carvery, while my mother and I opted for curry with naan and rice. The carvery was very good, with the server being clear and thorough in addressing our allergies and very friendly with my daughter. The curries were amazing. I had the butter milk chicken, which I believe was one of the best curries I have had in a long time. The naan was fresh and clearly homemade. We will definitely be returning to try more of their curries. Thank you so much for a great experience!"

"I have been a longtime patron of Maggie May's. While it may not be a fancy restaurant, they serve delicious home-cooked meals. The restaurant used to be known for having one of the best and largest breakfasts in Belfast. However, recently I have noticed a decline in the quality and portion size of the food. I have had a few disappointing deliveries, so I now prefer to dine in. During my recent visit, I was disappointed to see that the veggie fry was nearly half the size it used to be and now costs £9.50. The quality of the ingredients also seems to have decreased. Despite this, Maggie May's still offers a good variety of dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options. While I recommend sticking to more traditional menu items, such as breakfasts, chips, and milkshakes, overall the food is still decent. It is important to note that the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible and has only one small toilet at the back without changing facilities."

"Always have a lovely meal at this restaurant, the staff very attentive but not over bearing. The restaurant is small so it’s never too loud that you cannot hold a conversation. But still has a nice atmosphere about it. Careful where you park. There is free parking after 7 close by but before that wardens are lethal. Highly recommend you try this lovely Italian"

"Ordered via Deliveroo.... Firstly, the order was late (this is the second time now) The breaded mushrooms were over cooked and tasted like the oil used to cook them was old. The bottle of Pepsi was flat. The lamb was over cooked and so dry. The chips were overcooked and oily. The pizzas tasted strange, like the dough was not fresh before making. The Nuggets tasted like they'd also been cooked in old oil. Plus, it was all cold. Everything to be honest was very bad and was basically put straight in the bin. considering spent over £50 is not acceptable. As I said this is the second time I ordered from them and it was late, again but I thought I'd give them a chance, after this never again."

"I celebrated my son's 7th birthday at this restaurant on Thursday. The milkshakes were fantastic, especially the peanut butter shake which I highly recommend. We were pleasantly surprised when a huge birthday waffle with candles was brought out for my son. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful visit. I give it 5 stars. Thank you."

"Ordered 2 children's meal's which came a lot sooner than all the adult meals. We had already astablished that the chips were not cooked in fish oil beforehand It became apparent that 1 of the child's meal was fish instead of chicken...we told them of this,they did offer to change but the child declined as they'd nearly finished most of the other food on plate and they were embarrassed (it wasn't until her Mum asked that we discovered it was fish) I pointed out to waiter it could have been dangerous as you were already aware of the fish allergy in the party When the adult meals arrived we thought that we'd ordered children's meal in error given the size of them,not very hot to be fair considering how long we had waited but we didn't say anything(all same food) as we just couldn't be bothered with another complaint We had to tell the server twice what we were drinking on arrival and still one drink did not come as requested but couldn't be bothered to wait to have it changed I have to say they did take price of said child's meal off bill. We decided not to have desert and left still hungry and half the party are not even big eaters. Won't be returning No pictures as not worthy of pictures Dietary restrictions: Asked if chips were cooked in fish oil so obviously there was an allergy in the party but still a member of party was served fish instead of chicken. "First of all it started with it with a drink then we had food after the owner stated it was good authentic Indian and American food, we ordered 2 of the empire burgers which was dry and rubbery and the amount it sauce made the burger soggy, we also ordered a balti which came out red in a tiny dish there was hardly any chicken which was cooked terribly and the chicken was scrag ends, the naan bread wasn’t homemade it was shop brought it was a tough as dogs toy and the amount of grease on top was good enough for a pond, the food came out at odd times and they forgot the sides. The place was like a ghost town with very odd cheap decor they only had one member of staff which was clumsy and didn’t know really what to do, also no draft for fizzy pop, we told the waitress about the food and didn’t do much about it the chef didn’t apologise it was just an excuse of “short staff” which if you’re going to take people’s money you still need to keep up the standards. THIS PLACE NEEDS SHUTTING DOWN IVE HAD BETTER MICROWAVE FOOD"

"Walked in and heard conversations of moans and groans due to shortage of staff. Waiter said 4 adults and 2 children. Those children were 19 and 21. I said all adults unfortunately we are very short! Ordered mains, food not very hot and then they said no ice cream as machine broken. We asked for coffee and they said sorry machine has been switched off!!!! It was only 8:45pm They then brought the bill to us without asking and obviously wanted us to leave. If they had explained the resturant was closing early due to shortage of staff we could of decided to stay or go elsewhere. It would of been our decision."

"The food was decent, but the service was extremely slow. It took quite some time for our order to be taken, and it took an unreasonably long time for our meals to be served. We also had to remind the staff three times about our drinks, which took 20 minutes to arrive after we placed our order. Overall, it took us 2.5 hours to enjoy a two-course meal."

"Terrible options for gluten free meals. No indication on the menu we were given a tablet and had to scroll through ourselves trying to work out what our two coeliacs could eat ! Most options were only GF because they would leave out items if the meals rather than replace with a GF option ! ie no GF bread, rolls, pasta on offer at all !!! So the burgers just came up as a burger with no roll ! The halloumi salad was drenched in so much dressing it was soggy and overpower any flavour, the fish cakes were Luke warm and tasteless, the rice tasteless and dry, the chicken wrap was requested plain and came up with mayonnaise and tomatoe sauce on it, so had to be remade. A chain this big should have it’s allergens catered for and have info on a menu rather than leaving it to the customer to read up all the individual ingredients of each meal to work out what they can eat. Won’t be returning !"

"We were seated and the drinks order taken, I ordered 2 refillable soft drinks and some alcoholic drinks. When the rest of our party turned up about 5-10 minutes later, the same waitress came over to take more drinks orders, however we were still awaiting the drinks from the first order. Eventually the drinks turned up and the waitress took our food orders. I was the first to order in our group of 9, I ordered the bird surf and turf. The waitress asked how I would like my steak cooked and I answered. She then took my partners order of surf and turf, although she didn’t ask him how it should be cooked. A rib eye steak was ordered next and for this one the option of how it was cooked was offered. The rest of the meals were taken down and eventually they came out. Three people came over with chicken skewers, we explained we hadn’t ordered that but we were waiting for my meal. The manager came over with the skewers and I explained again that I hadn’t ordered that, but I had ordered bird surf and turf. She disappeared and came right back telling me that my order had been put through incorrectly and she could get my meal cooked but it would be about 8 minutes. I asked how that could have happened as the waitress took the order down and even asked me how I would like my steak cooked? Why would she ask me that question if I had ordered skewers? She refused to give an answer because she didn’t see the order being taken. I said fine, please cook my food. I asked her what she was going to do to make this situation better? She asked me what I wanted and I told her I WANTED to know what she was going to do to make up for the error. I also explained that not once did anyone come over and check for drinks refill and as we weren’t allowed to leave the table we couldn’t go looking for a server so refillable wasn’t really as it stated! She started to get really aggressive telling me that human error can’t be helped. I explained that I appreciated that however this was the first time in 4 years that we’ve returned to the malthouse because every meal in the past has been screwed up and it always ends up being my meal. She threw her hands in the air and said “I tell you what, let’s just call it a night! I am too tired to deal with this! I don’t need this tonight” she then turned and walked off, I said that the way she had behaved was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. She said “I don’t care, I am too tired to deal with this ****”. She made it very uncomfortable for both tables, the people still eating didn’t know whether they were supposed to stop eating or if they could finish. My sons burger was over cooked, as was the rib eye steak and the steak on my partners plate was burnt on the outside and completely raw in the middle, and the surf on his plate turned out to be three prawns!"

"Our table was in a lovely position; service was very slow although our server was very polite. My burger came with bacon, which I had asked to be removed. My friend’s jacket potato was very burnt and goodness knows where the vegetables came from they looked as though they came from the swill bin. When we told the server about this she shrugged her shoulders. We said we wouldn’t be back and she actually said that she didn’t blame us!"
