"We visited Othello's restaurant on Valentine's Day evening; it was very busy, the clientele was mainly pairs of a certain age. There were many young, polite and professional employees who were attentive without being intrusive. The menu was unusual, I felt for a Valentine's meal We chose both King Scallops, Filet Steak (both on a supplement). We received a large amuse book that was very tasty before the starter and a beautiful champagne sorbet between starter and main course. We waited about 30 minutes for our main course and then asked a waitress when we were overlooked; she was quick to apologize and explore the problem and followed our meal. The steak was of good quality and the proportion was more than sufficient. We chose different desserts - a cheese cake and a tangent parfait and both were declared delicious. We felt that the cost of meal reflects the quality of meal, service and event and we look forward to the return to either try the Table d'hote menu or the Al la Carte menu"

"Bill's was fantastic. I had their special Korean burger which was fantastic. My partner had the vegan burger type thingy, which she said was fantastic. I had a bottle of Bills house beer, I thought it was fantastic. I believe it is produced locally which is obviously fantastic. The service was fantastic. Overall the the experience was....... Really, really great. We are planning to pop back at some point."

"The restaurant staff asked us to avoid sitting near family groups, so they placed our table in between two families even though the rest of the place was empty. The restaurant had a cafe style atmosphere, but the food was delicious and deserved a little more ambience, such as having pots on tables. Overall, the service, food, and experience were great. The only feedback we have is that they should consider having separate areas for families/casual dining and romantic couples to ensure a good experience for everyone. The restaurant offers good value for money. Thank you."

It quickly buzzes with young professionals and it has a great atmosphere They have a pretty enticing happy hour from which promises good drink deals and a seriously good time. I ordered their Antipasti Board, which was well presented and tasty. In terms of drinks I would thoroughly recommend their Wild Meadow cocktail, which was just so refreshing My only complaint is that when I poured myself a glass from the cocktail pitcher, the glass jug cracked off in my hand. "Walking down Boar Lane my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into this Caffe Nero outlet and what a great find. A superb Caffe Nero outlet, nice decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Boar Lane. We were here on a Monday afternoon, we sat outside and ordered a cappuccino coffee each, served steaming hot, we just kicked back, chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's. I am a big fan of Caffé Nero ,enjoy their coffee and their cappuccino is a particular favourite of mine, from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve in this outlet. We really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to here we had a great time. This Caffe Nero is easy to locate along Boar Lane. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, 7am till 6pm. Saturday, 8am till 6 30pm. Sunday, 8am till 5.30pm. A wonderful Caffe Nero, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area."

"It was our silver wedding Anniversary on tues 18th July and our daughter had organised a surprise family meal here, there was 13 of us all sat on a long table. Everyone else had pre-ordered their meals, mains and puddings, apart from me and the hubby. It wasn't busy as we were in a room of our own but we waited quite a while for the mains but it didn't disappoint everyone said the food was beautiful and a couple asked for the rest of theirs to take home, the staff were polite and helpful. The puddings were just as lovely and presentation was fantastic, the staff regularly asked us if we needed more drinks or anything else. The only down side was a sticky toffee was pre-ordered with custard, but they didn't have any custard, changed to icecream but if pre-ordered the custard should have been avaiable. A fantastic meal and would definitely recommend x"

"eating was good when a little expensive. we had a afternoon and 2 adults. they were the same, although the cost half for a child portion they ask how they can justify the price of an adult meal. as for the venue. it is obviously beautiful, unfortunately the 18-30s club party in the room next door ruined it at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon, along with sharing the toilets, where my 4 years old sohn became every word under the sohn including the most extreme of swearing words, and the loud music, it ruined for us, what as "the perfect family ostern tasty""

"I decided to surprise my daughter and take her for a deluxe spa break . We couldn’t fault the afternoon tea and massages at the spa these were brilliant . We were very excited about our evening meal but left feeling very deflated . On arrival no staff told us what we could have with our package, we received the wrong drinks menu. After around 20 minutes someone finally came over and asked if we wanted a drink. We ordered and asked for tap water too . One of the drinks arrived but the water and other one never did so we had to find a young bar man who was rushing about and ask him . He was lovely and went and got them for us . After a long time of waiting bread and something in a little pot was plonked on our table , no explanation what it was , we thought we had got someone else’s starter . Finally we ordered our starters it was lovely but no spoon for my daughters soup so again we had to search for staff , plates took absolutely ages to be collected, mains came finally after 1.5 hours. It was lovely but the atmosphere was bad as other customers were getting fed up of waiting too. Finally got dessert and after we finished we sat patiently waiting for our plates to be taken and bill given ,as a lot on the menu which we liked you had to pay extra for .I thought this was ridiculous thinking back how much this break had cost me . After staff walking past us and ignoring us and the empty plates I had had enough and went to find someone to put it on our room bill . This experience was not the lovely bday treat I had expected for my daughters 21st disappointing is an understatement!!!"

"It certainly is a hidden spot. My party of six is very happy with the restaurant. The food is lovely. Location is great. The staff who lead us to our table is very welcoming. He took our order nicely but came back telling four of us no scallops. It will be better if the chefs can give him a head up. It was quite a big gap between starters and mains. We were fine with that as it’s a good time to chat. One of the staff was a bit aggressive when she told us to leave. “We want to go home as we need to start again tomorrow at 8am.” I know we were there till quite late but the way she said it was rude actually. To be honest, it would have been better if we were told like 10-15 mins ahead. Another staff is so kind and polite who opened the door and said goodnight to us. It is a shame that not all the staffs are like him. Anyway, I will go back there again."

"It was a very bad experience! We had our booking/ we got an email to confirm our booking and when we went there, the restaurant was closed! "at the venue with my 7-year-old enkel, who was unfamiliar with the opposite, and was turned away! returned 20 minutes early, but could wait in the lobby area until our time. we were then shown in practically empty lounge on our pitches. the afternoon was made fresh and was said I could have more sandwiches if necessary, my grand had the afternoon tea of the child consisting of ham, cream cheese and gurken sandwiches, pigs in cover, popping sweets rice popcake and obst and marshmallow skewers. the drink was a fruit milkshake that was so thick that you needed a spoon! the waitress noticed that he didn't drink, so he bought him a hot chocolate he loved. the selection of small cakes were very rich, I couldn't eat many. I chose the breakfast that was delicious."
