We've been to this place a few times and whilst there are some tiny niggles they get most things right

Restaurant in a luxury retirement apartment. Very nice meal in particular the Plaice and roast lamb. Good service and location.

The venue is excellent, the staff are wonderful, and there is a fantastic selection of food and drinks. I would rate it a perfect 10/10! View menu

First visit here and what an eye opener. Small but perfectly formed. Really good food and staff could not have been more helpful. Really lovely vibe so will be back soon.

Only one person looking after the bar and taking food orders tonight so service was different to last visit. Food was good but portions seemed smaller. Still a lovely place albeit a tad inconsistent.

We had afternoon tea for 3 people today 31/01/2024. This was for my elderly mother birthday. I was disappointed in the sandwich quality. Also the scones quality very small. £103 for afternoon tea for 3 was definitely not worth the money. The staff are polite and very friendly. That was mainly the best thing . Brilliant restaurant!! Food was amazing, especially considering the price, and the ambiance was fantastic. Would definitely return without a doubt. There are a few bad reviews about this place, and honestly it almost put us off, but we went and we didn’t understand what all the reviews were about once we had sat and started eating; just delicious food, fantastic service and a lovely venue.

I chose teriyaki trout was disappointed when the chef said it would take too long to cook the coconut rice????? I watched a couple who ordered breakfast leave after waiting 30mins My friend ordered pistachio and vanilla ice cream but was given two scoops of vanilla this was a genuine mistake. I felt sorry for the waitress who had to do a lot of apologising and taking the flack. Best to be notified of what they do actually have on the menu before ordering All in all a really lovely place good location liked it apart from the above

We had made a reservation and the second we walked in, we were told that the restaurant was too busy they couldn’t obey our reservation. They blamed it on a kitchen staff walking out that night. However, seating the guests and offering a drink would have been more acceptable whilst we waited a little longer for the food. Most of those in the venue didn’t have a booking and were just standing at the bar having drinks. Poor attitude and the abruptness of the staff as we walked in was rude and unprofessional. Haven’t been here before, was going to be my first time, but definitely wouldn’t return ever again. View menu
