"I went to the slug and lettuce in Staines on Friday night for the bottomless brunch. Jack and the twins gave us fantastic service. They kept our drinks topped up, checked on us regularly and were so fun and friendly. The food was very good and at such good value I’m looking forward to my next night out there. 5* guys thank you very much. "Came for bottomless brunch and it did not disappoint. Servers (Jay and Mo) were attentive so never went with an empty glass. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious. Good music range also. Not too loud so able to carry out conversations comfortably."

"A very enjoyable evening here is a pub/bar designed on two floors with a lot of outdoor seating for groups. There is a breathtaking view over Portsmouth Harbour. It has a romantic yet lively atmosphere of the place attracts people who want to have fun. There is a good selection of beer and wine and a very nice cocktail menu. There are also foods in fact a new autumn/winter menu just arrived. There is a good selection of hot dishes and main dishes and lighter snack options. "We visited on Sunday 27th Feb. The staff was really helpful and friendly. I went up to order at the bar and I have to say that it is the stickiest place I've ever visited. The bar was sticky, menus were sticky. I'm not sure what it was but it was on our table menus too. The food was really good. It took a little while so it wasn't really hot. I had Smothered Chicken and my partner had the Rump Steak. My chicken was nice but the peas and chips were cold. We had a bottle of wine we hadn't finished and a really nice boy who had brought us our food allowed us to take it outside to finish it up in the night air. This is a really nice restaurant with good food, a good atmosphere and great staff. Thank you!"

"Would have left no stars if i had the option. I am an international person living in the UK for 2 years now and I have used my BRP (BIOMETRIC RESIDENT PERMIT) the offical identity proof that UK gov gives to people for everything. The Derby S&L bouncer denied me entry because he said they don’t accept my ID proof? He looked like he was not sober and was so rude to me and my friend. Will never go to this place again it’s almost racist behaviour. Disappointed because clearly the team is not trained with their job and dont even know the most common identity proof that international students/residents have."

"itsu is a fast casual restaurant with a slightly higher feeling, but with reasonable trips. the menu is Asian inspired and seems to be more engraved in Japanese. the vegan offers of itsu have expanded considerably in the course of the years to include some delicious offers that are all marked on the menu and on the food packaging. the detox miso noodle soup is still one of my favorite (and it is low calorie) but sometimes it can be too much psychtang (depending on who does it). my new favorite menus include the veggie dragon roll (complete with vegan mayo the veggie meatballs coconut soup and the veggie gyoza n bowloodle. there are many additional vegan and vegetarian options offered not in my review that are also worth trying. as already mentioned, everything is marked on the menu and on the packaging. most employees seem pretty conscious and worth knowing for vegan options (a more common and accepted diet in Britain) for the case that they have asked to have ingredients menu elements. (I personally would rate this a 3.5 because it is a chain, but it pushes up to 4 because the half-value ratings are not allowed and this is actually a nice, higher quality and healthy food option"

"Aweful experience...i reserved table 10 in advance...on arrival said table was occupied. The hostess invited us to sit any where...which defeats the purpose of reserving the table. The hostess indicated you had to order using the app....which we proceeded to do...after several attemps to pay via the app...we had to pay at the bar. The waiter did not take or cash the complete order....the service was sluggish ...the milk for tea)was spilled on reaching the table...see photo..it was never cleaned...the food was pitiful...not value for money...."

"Went for the bottomless brunch (4 girls). It was brilliant. £33 each and the drinks just keep flowing. Food was really good and very filling. Staff were so friendly and service was quick! Lily was our server, kept checking on us for drinks and they never ran dry. Cocktails were being made by Liam and Jamie who were also really friendly and just kept them coming. Would highly recommend!"

"We have visited this restaurant several times for drinks, but only tried the food once during a night out in Durham. Overall, the food was fine, but it was so long ago that I can't remember exactly what we had. I noticed that someone has now added this restaurant to Happy Cow, so I wanted to share a few thoughts. While this may not be a destination specifically for vegan food, I do remember that they had recently introduced a vegan menu, making it worth a visit. The restaurant is more focused on cocktails and drinks, and is located in a prime spot. Oh, to be young again."

Between two we had a start, two meals and two desserts. for only £15, as it is 50% of food mondays. cheaper than an outlier! eating is restaurant style, but the pub is light and airy with a casual atmosphere. "We have pretty much tried everywhere in the Poole area for breakfast, and this place is by far the best. The food was very well presented, cooked to perfection and there was plenty of it. The price is probably what you would expect for a good breakfast, but this was better than good. Kourtney served us and was very polite and attentive. "We had a reservation for 7 PM, but upon our arrival, we were informed that we needed to leave by 8 PM because we had children under 18 with us. This restriction was not communicated to us when we made the reservation. We settled in and thought we could make it work, but when we tried to use the online ordering system, we discovered that the steak was unavailable, and we couldn’t remove it from our order. As we attempted to correct this, the clock was ticking, and by 7:15 PM, we realized we wouldn’t have enough time to enjoy our evening. This led us to leave and try to find another place to eat, which proved to be quite difficult given the current circumstances. In the future, they should clearly communicate any time restrictions for families with children when booking online. I will not be making another reservation here."

"We were seated at 12:20 for our 12:30 reservation and had the table until 2:00. Since we were really hungry, we ordered immediately, but our food didn’t arrive until 1:30. The drinks also took a long time, and we had to keep asking for updates. The waitress's customer service wasn't very good; although it was clear she was busy, she came across as rude."
