"in the last two days we visited here twice for food drinks. on Friday we visited there underwriting pfannkuchen, have top stack speck with maple syrup stack. so much we had to take home. the only critique I would say is that unfortunately it is cooked from the package, not from the ground. on Saturday evening we visited again, but this time as a table for my birthday. this time I went to the la fondue burger with standard house seasoned fries. presentation taste was on place, but the burger was over cooked for my pleasure. all other guests gave a good feedback. on another note, the cocktail menu has a good choice to choose, my personal favorite is the espresso martini."

came to lunch with a friend. I ordered eier benedikt, which on smoked salmon for me was very disappointed. thin bread that was burned. the proportion of laughter was pathetic. I paid for the smallest egg beedict I ever had and most expensive. everything else was good.

I have a book about an open table around 12 o'clock for a date of 7:45 when I arrived, I was Id’d. Although they gave my name, they could not find my book. they put us on a drink table opposite the bar, my partner asked to move as they did not like where they put us. they pretended to have done us a favor by moving our table when we should be there to not drink.

Would have left no stars if i had the option. I am an international person living in the UK for 2 years now and I have used my BRP (BIOMETRIC RESIDENT PERMIT) the offical identity proof that UK gov gives to people for everything. The Derby S&L bouncer denied me entry because he said they don’t accept my ID proof? He looked like he was not sober and was so rude to me and my friend. Will never go to this place again it’s almost racist behaviour. Disappointed because clearly the team is not trained with their job and dont even know the most common identity proof that international students/residents have.

"My friend and I wanted somewhere different to go for some late lunch and so we decided on the Cosy Club. Although my friend had been once before a while back, it was my very first time visiting. As you walk in, you're greeted with an almost vintage-y feel and it's great! Old paintings upon the wall and retro furniture too, but that's not all. Ascending the stairs to the top, we got to the first bit of the club which is the bar area and what a fab area it is too, to relax and enjoy and Beveridge or two. Further down is where the restaurant is located and a lovely restaurant it is too. Very ornate with a fancy oldy-worldy vibe, almost like stepping back in time. The decor and glass chandeliers make for a very luxurious, almost palatial feel. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a table where after a short time of waiting, we had water poured for us before choosing what we'd like to eat and drink. I decided to go for the dirty chicken burger and I'm glad I did. The portion size was great, and there was plenty going on in the burger; the flavours were tantalising! Everything was cooked really well and tasted good (oh and the berry cider they have is certainly worth a try! After spending time enjoying our meal, we paid for the bill and were able to make our way, with our drinks, to the bar area to take a sit and enjoy the vibe further. I would certainly recommend the Cosy Club to anyone looking for something different, with a cool vibe and great food. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable visit, will certainly be returning! :"
