"4 people went for a quick bite to eat and all had lovely food! The fish finger with avocado sandwich was delightful, new for me and I will be trying it again! What I will say is about the coffee coffee service. We wait a long time for our drinks and it wasn't exactly busy, then there was nothing special at all to warrant the wait! Nowhere near hot enough, tiny in size and lacking really. I will visit again, for the food, but I wouldn't bother with a coffee of any sort!"

I can't do anything about it. "Booked for NYE. When we turned up we were told there was no beef only chicken. At 8:30 on NYE you are stuck with nowhere else to go ! It’s very bad to have run out of the main product your business is basically promoting. Bad forecasting and management. Also 2 of the starters were also not available and gin served in a wine glass ??? Food is ok, but I do think we should have been given at least a discount or free drink due to the lack of Beef !! The whole pay before you eat at the bar cheapens the experience and makes it similar to eating at a Burger King now, plus staff can no longer receive tips. "We visited here after a bad experience somewhere else and thought we'd give this place a go as we were absolutely ravenous. We found a table, chose our food and drinks and waited for our order. It looked extremely busy on entry and thought we made another error as team members were flat out on the service. To our surprise our starters came out in good time and our main, and team members were still smiley and chatty even though it was a busy service on our visit. I found the team there very commendable as even though it was a very busy service they coped admirably. The food was hot and very tasty, the tables were a little messy with used plates and glasses left, but would let them off for that. Would visit again if at Gunwharf Quays."

"After been given great reviews on the Corner Vafe Falkirk, I decided to pay it a visit today Wed Oct..18th late afternoon , I went to place my order at the counter and I was asked if I was sitting ing in or taking away. I said that I was having brunch knew That I was having avacado toast and poached eggs, the first girl took my order I also had a glass of water, I had to ask the chap front of house if my brunch was ready this was after a 20 min wait more time passed maybe approached me to inform me that the situatioregaurding my brunch. When eventualy my meal came, which I paid by card , I told the two members of waiting staff that the brunch was fresh and tasty, but the service was far to slow ...."

"I visited on Sunday to go for a bottomless brunch with some friends, on arrival we were seated and given menus and the waitress told us they had some shortages due to a delivery not coming in. However, when saying what they were out of, sausages avocado and waffles, it wiped out a-lot of the dishes on the already limited menu for bottomless brunch. items such as sausages and avocado which when your one of the first customers in the restaurant on a Sunday having pre-booked as-well seems a bit unorganised in my opinion especially as their are 3 supermarkets in walking distance. i wouldn't normally make a fuss about this sort of thing especially working in hospitality myself but i have been to the S&L 3 times now and every time they seem to not have something quite important. i went a few months ago with my boyfriend and they didn't have most of the cocktails offered on the menu which was very disappointing. and when our food came out they didn't have any ketchup or mayonnaise. however, on all occasions visiting the staff have been very friendly and attentive in offering a round of drinks whenever our glasses looked empty and the food we have received has been lovely and been delicious. It just seems as though there is a management issue when it comes to ordering stock."

"On Saturday 30th September at around 7pm we visited your restaurant at the Quayside in Glasgow. As I was placing our order the gentleman standing to the right of me unfortunately took a fit and slumped to the ground where he was, now unconscious. I proceeded to put him in the recovery position. I then asked your staff to call an ambulance and to get the first aider to come and help the man. He then proceeded to have another fit. To my utter dismay there was no-one first aid trained!! The duty manager Mark called 999 and was relaying back to me that they would not send an ambulance, so not only was I dealing with the man on the floor, I then had to take over the phone call and demand an ambulance straight away! Luckily as I explained the severity of the situation one was sent immediately. Your staff were completely out of their depth and had no clue how to handle the situation. I myself, have MS and have not been first aid trained in over 13 years. My daughter has been emotionally traumatised with what happened and is having disturbing nightmares, she is also having to sleep with me at 13 years old! She can't comprehend why her mother had to take control of the situation. I am also extremely angry that if I hadn't assisted the man the outcome could have been extremely different as your staff never even realised anything had happened. The restaurant was very quiet so there really was no excuse. Your staff were totally out of their depth and had no clue what to do. I would be very interested to know your work ethos regarding first aid training. My daughter suffers from anxiety and is completely traumatised from this and has told us point blank that she will never go into Burger King again."

"I’m sitting in BK as I type. There are 6 patrons sitting in over 4 tables, and two at the counter, with one car at the drive through counter. There are loads of staff. And I mean loads of them. One chap doing a stirling job wiping down tables (tho not many to do). Heck knows what everyone else is doing as it takes a good 5 minutes for anyone to be served and at least as long for any food to appear. Staff morale seems good tho. I wouldn’t usually comment on a fast food place, but the whopper has so much mayo on it that it’s inedible. And I’m a mayo person. Bad all round to be honest. And on a very slow Sunday night there’s no excuse. Find another branch."
