"The quality of the food is similar to that of Burger King. I decided to go there for a quick burger after a concert, but it turned out to be anything but quick. The ordering machines were out of paper, and the food was not ready when I arrived. It took almost 30 minutes for my simple burger to be served, and some customers were waiting even longer. I remember a few years ago, before the lockdown, seeing a large number of orders piled up with various burgers in trays scattered around. The order number screen was full with close to or over 100 orders, with customers waiting in the crowded waiting area. It seems like the management needs to make some changes, but it didn't happen during the lockdown. If you're looking for a quick option late at night like I was, maybe the old golden arches would be a better choice."

"Read the reviews so had high hopes we wanted to eat there as they have few tables outside very nice menu lots choice placed our order but had quite a long wait nobody cleared or cleaned the tables which wasn't covid friendly and they obviously have regular clientel whom seem to occupy most tables with coffees smoking and swearing so wasn't nicest environment or most enjoyable lunch experience-sorry! We didn't receive an apology for long wait and even tho the server could c used cups ashtray etc she didn't clear it, I wiped table myself with antibacterial wipes! However thr baguettes/ wraps were very nice with lots of filling at reasonable prices"

"I used to go here on occasion; they have a couple of friendly staff a lady called Liz in particular who is charming but sour managers and really bad service from some staff who can't understand your orders and then can't be bothered when they screw it up. it seems like, whatever, we'll muddle through (realizing that this is fast food, but it's still £8 of my money). Never again after the last order that was totally not what I wanted and the manager had the gall to say that maybe it was the way I spoke! I'm a native speaker of English, for heaven sake, I was speaking English, although he then tried to get me to replace the burger and I was like, so you can chuck food away (as they did on previous wrong orders, under these circumstances for o many, now wasteful). I've eaten BK in America, Indonesia, Singapore, many places, but this is the one that made me decide, nope, never again (which is probably a good thing forme and my sizeable girth)."

"We visited the Heathfield Tavern on spec to try it for lunch and what a very good idea it was! We were greeted by cheerful and friendly staff whose waiting skills were first class, chef was available to chat through a hatch into the kitchen and the tables were well spaced. The food was absolutely delicious, the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and my husband gave his sea bass 10/10. On top of that the prices compared very favourably with other lesser establishments in the area. This lovely pub restaurant is going to become a favourite destination."
