"been after mailand a couple times and always loved eating there. but this last time it was quite disappointing for us. we were a group of 10 people and although in agreement with the guy who hired the order, but what was served us was very different from what was actually ordered. the service was delayed and that was on Wednesday night. we just went on eating because it was late. did not cost it very much."

"Told it's a good place to eat with tasty food. Agree to this and the waitress who served the table was nice and helpful. I was told look at for the man at the front who will try to rush you and speaks rudely to you if you're of the same colour. Had the experience with him as you can hear him speaking so polite to the other tables. I would go again if he was not there!!!"

"I have ordered takeout from this restaurant a few times due to COVID restrictions, and I must say, it's the best Indian food I've had in a long time. The food is made with fresh spices like coriander and has just the right amount of spice for me - not too overwhelming, but still leaves you feeling hot after eating. The staff is also very friendly. I particularly enjoyed the Aloo Gobi (cauliflower and potatoes in curry sauce) and one of the Dhaal dishes."

"We were seated promptly, but had to wait for our menus to arrive. After ordering, there was a significant wait for our food and our appetizers arrived at the same time as our main course, resulting in a table full of cold food. Overall, we were not very impressed with the service. The food itself was good, but it would have been better as an appetizer before our main meal. Unfortunately, by the time our main course arrived, it was already cold."

"I've been a couple of times and it really made an impression as I particularly wanted to return when I happened to be staying in Leeds with my family. The atmosphere is lovely with live piano music, spectacular views over the canal and large high ceilings and chandeliers. The service is a little chaotic with someone offering us drinks and as they leave the table someone else approaching us from another angle to offer us more drinks. "The worst customer service. We reserved the table and went for lunch on Mother's Day with my mother-in-law and my wife (a mom herself). The food was okay and few items a bit salty. Also, buffet items were not refilled properly and everytime you have to nudge the staffs when they get over. I have also seen many complaining about it. Also, it was mentioned on their website there will be a surprise gift for Mom for Mother's day. They just gave 1 or 2 for few customers next to us while we were having lunch and took pictures of it. When we asked about it they simply said it's over and no apologies. When my wife asked about it on a call they simply hung up with no apologies. Well, it's not about the gift rather how they behave with customers. They are focussed on advertising tactics, rather than providing a good customer service. I have been to many restaurants but here the staffs were not customer friendly. We wanted it to be a special day, but they simply ruined it. Personally, I won't be visiting this place again and wouldn't recommend anyone."

"We tried this place during lunch time. It is pocket friendly and offers amazing Indian flavor and a good variety of Indian snacks and food. Flavor is rich and spicy so be careful if you aren't so accustomed to strong Indian spices. Even so, it's worth a try. We love this place for the price we pay and the quality of food we get."

"I usually don't say that, but wow!, literally for 2 adults and a baby with facebook messenger! Yes, you have read that right, wasn't sure if it was done, but it was. arrived with a smile greeted by the girl on the recipe, was shown on our table immediately as sitting our menus were given and were left to see it at our own time, the young English waiter asked if we had a high chair for small, the high chair was not the typical cheap one they usually get. we ordered a mixed starter for 2, when it arrived and my wife agreed that it was fresh a delicious! we ordered a lambkarahi and lambnihari both again hot with a lot taste and tasty, for dessert we told ghulab jamun with ice and a blue lagoon tail, the woman said the hot and cold mix of the ghulab jamun was amazing, the blue lagune mocktail was nice, with the glass not full of ice cubes had bombed it. the personal was absolutely amazing, the service and the carelessness that we received, we are so grateful that a worker brought some fresh gurke for our baby to crack, another got a ballon for him, there was always a worker close to who would ask us if we needed something else and if that was proper. I almost forgot that I was in a blackburn restaurant, price was reasonable, will definitely return to the near future, and thank you to all those who yesterday on the 14th february 2022 to our table, again thank you from me and my wife for one night to remember."

"The people who seated us and asked for our order were verging on rude What do you want? is an unusual way to take an order. The place was very busy we were asked to leave our seats almost as soon as we 'd finished our meal. Everything tasted of tabasco. We won 't go back. "This was my first time ordering from this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The delivery guy was amazing, and I applaud him for finding my place. "Saturday morning, called in for a desi breakfast. Uncharacteristically slow and chaotic service today. They just need some more staff to help them keep on top of the orders. Long delays, incorrect orders, stressed staff doing their best. I felt really sorry for them. The food was nice as usual , but the owners need to invest in having more staff. It is a popular place. But people won’t keep coming back if the delays are as long as this!"

"Chanak is one of our favourite places to go for a family meal. The conservatory at the front is dog friendly too which makes life easier for us as a family. The staff are super friendly and always try to accommodate us to find a table even when they are busy. The food is excellent it's not the cheapest but in my experience you get what you pay for and the food is really very good and worth every penny. The staff are attentive but not overbearing and you are never rushed. I'd highly recommend it if you are in the area and what some delicious Turkish food."

"After a few years, I am pleased to say that the food quality at this restaurant is still quite good. I give it a full mark for consistency. The menu offers a simple mix of traditional favorites and specialty dishes. We tried the fried fish tendon and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable, given the current circumstances. Overall, we left satisfied and felt that our money was well spent.
